Jim Viera has been everywhere in alternative history and archeology circles. He refers to himself as a non dogmatic centrist. From there we discussed more or less everything. From political philosophy to Zacharia Sitchin, to the androgenous mercreatures of so many pre-history to early history cultures. In there, we visited upon the Tepes, the ages of men and only men. Where legends and myths might be used for racist propaganda. Of course we discussed giants, polydactyls, and megalyths. 

Twentieth Century Psychic and Medical ClairvoyantEdgar Cayce (pronounced Kay-Cee, 1877-1945) has been called the “sleeping prophet,” the “father of holistic medicine,” and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic “readings” to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come. From there, he could respond to questions as broad as, “What are the secrets of the universe?” and “What is my purpose in life?” to as specific as, “What can I do to help my arthritis?” and “How were the pyramids of Egypt built? His responses to these questions came to be called “readings,” and their insights offer practical help and advice to individuals even today.Many people are surprised to learn that Edgar Cayce was a devoted churchgoer and Sunday school teacher. At a young age, Cayce vowed to read the Bible for every year of his life, and at the time of his death in 1945, he had accomplished this task. In 1886, mining engineer John T. Reid was told the Paiute legend of a giant people defeated by the natives near Lovelock, Nevada. The last of the giants met their fiery end deep within the bowels of a cave. Reid's belief in this legend stirred great interest in the secrets held within Lovelock Cave. Official excavations were undertaken in both 1912 and 1924 by the University of California, with reports telling of thousands of artifacts being recovered. Of these artifacts, the most puzzling were human remains. Well, they were *almost* human. Skeletons measuring between eight and ten feet tall were said to be found during the dig. Skeletons belonging to who are now known as “The Lovelock Giants.” Legends of people of enormous size are told across a myriad of cultures, And despite what we've been told by *mainstream* science, there *is* evidence to suggest they really existed. The remains of giants have been found all over the United States; and all over the world. So why aren't these amazing finds on display in any museum? Or taught in any classes? Karahan Tepe is an archaeological site in Şanlıurfa Province in Turkey. The site is close to Göbekli Tepe and archaeologists have also uncovered T-shaped stelae there. According to Daily Sabah, "The excavations have uncovered 250 obelisks featuring animal figures" as of 2020.The site is located near Yağmurlu and roughly 46 kilometers east of Göbekli Tepe, which is often called its sister site. It is part of the Göbeklitepe Culture and Karahantepe Excavations project. The area is known as “Keçilitepe” by local people. In this episode, I sit down with Brad Wilske, one of the founders and owners of Lost Giants Cider Company. Brad and his two business partners Chris Noskoff and Abe Ebert established Lost Giants Cider in 2017 and opened their taproom in Bellingham, WA in 2018. Among the many hats that Brad wears in the company, his focus is on the taproom and brand management. Brad has always loved and admired art which landed him in a graphic arts program in college. Finishing college on the cusp of the digital boom, he jumped into his career working in graphic design and marketing and leveraging technology in the new era of design. Finally settling into a comfortable long term role at a great company, Brad was introduced to the emerging craft beer industry in Bellingham. He picked up a bartending job on the weekends, and all of the sudden, something started to change. Over time, his connections grew in the craft beer community and so did his passion. So, he left his stable job, his comfortable paycheck, and jumped on an opportunity to join a rapidly growing brewery in its early years - Kulshan brewery. It’s here that Brad’s love for the craft beer community really took hold. It’s where he met his future business partners, Chris and Abe, and an idea began to brew at the brewery. Eventually, they joined forces to create Lost Giants Cider Company. For a long time, it was thought giants were just part of folklore, but recent research into old documents, newspapers, journals, first hand reports, and old photos now suggest that these may have been a reality.
