A newly released SAR scan appears to show a massive hidden chamber beneath the Giza plateau — and Egypt's top antiquities official, Dr. Zahi Hawass, calls it “BS.” In this exclusive interview, researcher Trevor Grassi joins me to break down the scan data, the science behind SAR tomography, and why the Osiris Shaft may be the key to Egypt's biggest secret. We analyze the public denial by Hawass on Joe Rogan, compare the radar scan to known subterranean maps, and explore what might lie hidden beneath the Great Pyramid.**RESOURCES & LINKS**

An appraisal of Formula E's surprising choice of Homestead as a venue for the tenuously titled Miami E-Prix is picked through after a messy end to a race that saw numerous penalties applied.Pascal Wehrlein had elements of fortune on the way to his first E-Prix win of the season, while teammate Antonio Felix da Costa was one of several drivers to be scuppered by a late red flag for a multi-car shunt at a specially made chicane. The possibility of Wehrlein retaining his title is dug in to, as is the poor early season form of Jaguar, who will lose its team principal James Barclay at season end. A miserable weekend in Florida from the Stellantis powered car is also analysed, as is strong performances from Nico Mueller, Dan Ticktum and Lucas di Grassi, the last of which scored a momentous surprise second place for a reborn Lola.Latest news discussed includes the future of NEOM McLaren, the probable arrival of Opel and some details about a new documentary series which is set to hit the screens next month.Follow The Race on Instagram, X and FacebookCheck out our latest videos on YouTube Hosted on Acast.
The worst thing that's ever happened to the Democrats is democracy. It must be quite an existential crisis that, after all that, the rest of the country rejected their opinion of Donald Trump. That the guy they said was a rapist, a racist, a fascist, a dictator, a Nazi, a bigot, a transphobe, a misogynist, a Russian asset, a criminal, a felon, a fraudster, a fake, a traitor, an election denier and insurrectionist, an extremist, a terrorist, a white supremacist, a phony that they impeached twice and indicted four times, and became the first presidential candidate with a mug shot, and to be convicted of a felony still won the popular vote. That has got to really burn. But it isn't the Trump side that is now in a perpetual state of shock because it existed inside a utopian bubble, cutting itself off from the rest of America. It isn't the Trump side that cosplayed World War II for so long that it lost touch with reality about either our world now or what really happened in World War II. It isn't the Trump side that was the empire.Their war-torn resistance fighters were so disgusted that none of the Democrats had done enough to “stop Hitler Trump and his Nazi leader, Elon Musk,” that their approval numbers were at historic lows. DO SOMETHING, their supporters cried. So Cory Booker took to the Senate floor to remind them of what they still stand for. And to rally the troops. He prepared in advance for the performance of his life. He denied himself food and water to go the distance. It was, for him, a chance to audition for the part of Charismatic Leader, the democrats so desperately need.Booker found a way: It's not Left or Right but right or WRONG.It's a far cry from Obama's “not red states or blue states, but the United States.” The Democrats no longer believe that. They went from “don't normalize Trump and his supporters” to it's more than justified to demonize, dehumanize, even terrorize them. They are “bad people.” They're no longer welcome. Not in our culture, restaurants, movie theaters, family gatherings, and, most of all, our democracy.Their anger stems from their class privilege of having everything they need, yet they can't accept losing something they want. Here is Batya Ungar-Sargon:Either the Democrats really are caught up in a mass delusion about who Trump is and why he won, or else they're the drama club, and none of it was ever real.Splendor in the GrassI wasn't just in the Drama Club in high school. I was the undisputed queen. Just ask anyone who went to high school with me. I was a terrible student. I barely graduated. My nickname was “no-show Stone,” but the one thing I showed up for was the Drama Club. That's me as Elizabeth Proctor in the high school production of The Crucible. In case you've never seen or read The Crucible, Elizabeth Proctor was John Proctor's pregnant wife who was accused of witchcraft but who was spared because of the presumed innocence of her baby. Her husband, John Proctor, would be hanged.I could never have known that all of these decades later, we'd all be living in a Salem of our own making, and I'd be once again an accused and condemned witch.Inside the drama club, I had a magic mirror - a small group of people who thought I hung the moon. My Drama teacher thought that too. I was his favorite, at least for a time. I didn't know the word “grooming” back then, but looking back on it, I see that's probably what he was doing—a pinch here, a grope there. On the last day of my junior year, he French kissed me just before I went away for summer break. That Summer, he drove up to my house and dropped off a copy of the play Splendor in the Grass. I took that to mean I would be cast as the lead, the part Natalie Wood played in the movie. As the queen of the Drama Club, I got all of the leading roles. Of course, I would play Deannie. But when it came time to cast the play, the part went to someone who wasn't even in the drama club. She was the prettiest girl in school: the Head Cheerleader and the Homecoming Queen. Our teacher had broken the silent code of the drama club - nobody from the outside is allowed in. Because if they do, our fantasy world is shattered. That's all we had. We weren't the popular kids, the cheerleaders, the jocks, the science nerds. We were people who didn't belong anywhere else. But we also liked escaping into a fantasy world of being another person other than ourselves.During the Me Too movement, my friends would always bring up our drama teacher, but honestly, I was more angry that he'd given my part away to a prettier girl.In reality, the Homecoming Queen was the right person to play Deannie, even if our teacher probably just had the hots for her. She was good, too—better than I would have been. Because she was popular, everyone in the school came to see the play.We were all big fish in a small pond, which gave us power we weren't willing to relinquish. But having the whole school see our play meant reality was here, whether we liked it or not.I often think about the drama club now when I watch Christopher Guest's hilarious Waiting for Guffman, which is about a self-important director of a small town theater group and their delusions of grandeur. And that's also what I see when I look at the democrats and all of the performative protesters and activists on the Left, from Eric Swalwell to AOC to Jasmine Crocket to Chuck Schumer to Cory Booker, to all of these delusional people who believe Musk did the Nazi salute and Trump is Hitler. They are Waiting for Guffman. They are the drama club. It's a cosplay fantasy, a dystopian Renaissance Faire. None of it is real. The American people have been watching this performative outrage for almost a decade. They wanted to turn the channel so badly they voted for Donald Trump a second time, and now, here they all are, once again, caterwauling about the very democracy that just took them out of power. They still believe that doing exactly the same thing for this long will get them a different result, the very definition of insanity. But there's a darkness too, a rising violence. What they all mean when they say “Hands off” is not just “hands off” our government, but “hands off” everything else too.Along with keying Teslas and violent outbursts against Trump supporters, there is a hashtag making the rounds on TikTok called “when it happens,” where users fantasize about Trump's death.Identity First vs. America First.During the last Civil War, the two conflicting realities were that a country founded on freedom could not own human beings vs. the false reality that slaves could not survive as free human beings and that there would be chaos and collapse if things changed. Now, we find ourselves once again at a crossroads with two factions believing in two completely separate realities. This time, it's not about westward expansion but rather our migration onto the new frontier of the internet, AI, and the upcoming robot revolution. What will this country be going forward? What will be our values? What will define male and female? What will decide power? You can see each of our potential futures laid out before us. Whole generations have come of age in virtual reality, where they can choose their own avatars and have their own audiences for their own show. It's all performative. But to be included, you must follow the rules. If you don't, out you go. This is a public episode. Researchers say they used SAR to find vast city beneath the pyramidsThe researchers claim to have discovered eight vertical cylinder-shaped structures, referred to as shafts, extending approximately 2,100 feet deep beneath the pyramids.Italian and Scottish researchers claim they found a major discovery beneath the Pyramids of Giza, potentially rewriting the history of ancient Egypt. Using radar technology, the team led by Corrado Malanga from Italy's University of Pisa and Filippo Biondi from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland announced the findings of what they describe as a vast underground city stretching more than 6,500 feet directly beneath the pyramids."This groundbreaking study has redefined the boundaries of satellite data analysis and archaeological exploration," said the project's spokesperson, Nicole Ciccolo, according to The Sun.She elaborated that the discovery "could redefine our understanding of the sacred topography of ancient Egypt, providing spatial coordinates for previously unknown and unexplored subterranean structures."The researchers used a new radar technology known as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), which combines satellite radar data with tiny vibrations from naturally occurring seismic movements. The radar was used to create high-resolution three-dimensional images of underground structures, a method similar to using sonar to map the ocean floor. Their study, still awaiting peer review, suggests that the complex is ten times larger than the pyramids themselves. The team claims to have discovered eight vertical cylinder-shaped structures, referred to as shafts, extending approximately 2,100 feet deep beneath the pyramids. Each shaft is said to be surrounded by spiral pathways that connect to two 80-meter cube-shaped structures. Above these, they reportedly found five multi-level structures connected by passageways."The existence of vast chambers beneath the earth's surface, comparable in size to the pyramids themselves, has a remarkably strong correlation with the legendary Halls of Amenti," Ciccolo stated. She explained that the cylindrical structures were found underneath each of the three pyramids and appear "to serve as access points to this underground system."Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

A few weeks ago I posted on LinkedIn that I wanted to get someone on the pod to talk AI in mental health. At the time I made the post I definitely had my AI sceptic hat on, whenever I hear about AI in mental health its normally in the context of chat bots or similar replacing real life therapist / patient interactions, and I think this is a trend that's really concerning, hence why I wanted to explore it on the pod in more detail. But I'm really pleased that things turned out a little differently with this episode. After I posted about it on LinkedIn someone tagged Matteo Grassi and suggested I chat to him about an AI mental health product he's developing called Hana. I'm glad that I got connected with Matteo as his product, Hana is a great example of where AI can complement and augment the work of a therapist, improving engagement between sessions and generating valuable data that therapists can use to improve treatment and spot warning signs for an impending mental health crisis. I think my scepticism was well and truly countered by talking to Matteo; do I think that AI chat bots are a bad idea? absolutely, but my eyes are definitely open to AI tools like Hana that can enhance the valuable person to person interaction that takes place in therapy sessions. Is this one of the best or worst method books for acoustic fingerstyle guitar? You can learn to play music by simultaneously using a variety of resources including teachers, online resources, and books. The Alex de Grassi Fingerstyle Guitar Method, written by fingerstyle legend Alex de Grassi and produced by Stringletter (the publisher of Acoustic Guitar Magazine), is a method book for learning to play solo fingerstyle guitar. You will learn many of the nuts and bolts that bolster de Grassi's technique, musicality, and general style. This is an amazing book (a 192 page tome of information!), but it is dense and highly technical. If you are thinking about investing your time into this book, consider what sub-style of fingerstyle you are interested in. Listen to Alex de Grassi's playing to see if that is the direction that you want to go in. I personally love his playing – he uses a lot of classical technique, he has incredible control and clarity, he is extremely melodic, expressive, and musical, he tastefully uses some modern percussive techniques and cross string ideas, and he plays music that sounds like a blend of folk, Celtic, and blues. If you want to play like Chet Atkins or Tommy Emmanuel, start with a different book. If you want to play like Andy McKee, Preston Reed, Don Ross, or Mike Dawes, this book has several very applicable chapters and isn't a bad stepping stone. This is a great book if you want to be a well-rounded and precise player. De Grassi claims that this book is for beginner through advanced players. The first half of the book certainly contains a lot of “beginner” fingerstyle information, but I highly discourage beginner players from starting with this book as their first foray into fingerstyle guitar. There are more approachable books with easier arrangements and less text. If you are a big Alex de Grassi fan and you're dead set on going through this book as a beginner, it would be helpful to work with a teacher and/or to supplement it with another more beginner-oriented method book (see my other videos/reviews). I think that this book is very beneficial to a late beginner or intermediate player who can already smoothly play some solo fingerstyle arrangements. This book will tweak your physical techniques, your tone, and your artistic touch (phrasing, articulation, dynamics, etc.). Overall, the 2nd half of the book is very “heady” with many advanced concepts that beginners don't need to bog themselves down with. These concepts include difficult cross-string ideas, reasons to use alternate tunings, complex rhythmic ideas (cross-rhythms), modern percussive techniques, and ways to add depth and dimension to your sound. The repertoire in the book consists of traditional tunes and the author's original tunes. There are several full song arrangements, but most of the examples are song fragments. De Grassi breaks down these fragments in great detail in order to demonstrate the topic being discussed in the text. There is SO much detail in the descriptions. He gets into the nuances of how to physically perform a technique, where to place your fingers, how to control note durations, etc. The text is very dense, and it took me a long, long time to get through it. I recommend listening to each (wonderful) audio example, then reading the text pertaining to that example, and then playing that example. You will likely need to repeat this process multiple times for each example or topic. The audio recordings are invaluable for hearing the artistic details, ornamentation, and complex rhythms of the examples. I don't think I've ever been so tied to the audio recordings of a method book. All playing examples are provided in standard notation (treble clef) and tablature. You could use either a steel string acoustic or nylon string classical guitar to work through this book. You don't have to fret any bass notes using your thumb over the top (although I like to here...

Welcome to another episode of Category Visionaries — the show that explores GTM stories from tech's most innovative B2B founders. In today's episode, we're speaking with Daniele Grassi, CEO at Axyon AI, an AI platform for financial markets that has raised $5.5 Million in funding. Here are the most interesting points from our conversation: Early Passion for AI and Finance: Daniele's journey into the intersection of AI and finance began early, with him programming a stock market simulation at just eight years old. This early interest led him to pursue software engineering and eventually to the founding of Axyon AI. Specialization in Financial AI: Unlike broad AI applications, Axyon AI focuses on the specific challenges of applying deep learning and advanced machine learning techniques to financial time series, aiming to optimize financial market predictions without typical pitfalls like overfitting. Building a Startup in Modena: Known for high-performance automotive brands like Ferrari and Maserati, Modena, Italy, provided a surprisingly rich environment for AI development, with a strong engineering focus spurred by local industry demands. Challenges of Early AI Adoption: In the early days, Daniele faced significant challenges explaining what AI is and convincing stakeholders of its potential, especially following the disillusionment from the previous AI hype cycles. Impact of Generative AI on Perception: The release of more advanced AI models like ChatGPT significantly changed public perception and acceptance of AI, easing some earlier challenges Axyon faced in market education and acceptance. Vision for AI in Investment Strategies: Looking forward, Daniele sees AI becoming an indispensable component of investment strategies, not just for gaining an edge but as a fundamental necessity to compete effectively in financial markets. // Sponsors: Front Lines — We help B2B tech companies launch, manage, and grow podcasts that drive demand, awareness, and thought leadership. www.FrontLines.io The Global Talent Co. — We help tech startups find, vet, hire, pay, and retain amazing marketing talent that costs 50-70% less than the US & Europe. www.GlobalTalent.co
Trevoro Grassi is an independent researcher, studying prehistoric evidence of advanced civilizations, with a focus on the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and the underground of Giza. I've been to over a dozen countries and visited over a hundred different pyramids, temples and sacred sites. I study megalithic stonework, mythology, astrology, math and geometry of ancient cultures in an attempt to reconstruct 'sacred sciences' of the last Golden Age. I've written a book series which is soon to be published and am currently working on a long format documentary series with Bill Brown, called 'The Secret Underworld Of Giza'.William (Bill) Brown is a retired civil engineer turned Gizatologist, who has spent the last 20 years investigating the mysteries of the Giza Plateau. He has been deep underground at Giza many times and in many locations. Bill has also carried out ground penetrating radar scans at many sites at Giza as well as at the Hawara Labyrinth site in the Fayoum Oasis. He has made many discoveries at both sites and is currently leading a project attempting to excavate and access many underground chambers and tunnels at Giza with the IRGE (International Research Group, Egypt) and Mission Pharaoh, an international collection of foundations supporting his work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6o77G5Najg&t=3287sTrevor Grassi: eltaearth@gmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.
