RJJ Software's Software Development Service This episode of The Modern .NET Show is supported, in part, by RJJ Software's Software Development Services, whether your company is looking to elevate its UK operations or reshape its US strategy, we can provide tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Show Notes "So on my side it was actually, the interesting experience was that I kind of used it one way, because it was mainly about reading the Python code, the JavaScript code, and, let's say like, the Go implementations, trying to understand what are the concepts, what are the ways about how it has been implemented by the different teams. And then, you know, switching mentally into the other direction of writing than the code in C#."— Jochen Kirstaetter Welcome friends to The Modern .NET Show; the premier .NET podcast, focusing entirely on the knowledge, tools, and frameworks that all .NET developers should have in their toolbox. We are the go-to podcast for .NET developers worldwide, and I am your host: Jamie “GaProgMan” Taylor. In this episode, Jochen Kirstaetter joined us to talk about his .NET SDK for interacting with Google's Gemini suite of LLMs. Jochen tells us that he started his journey by looking at the existing .NET SDK, which didn't seem right to him, and wrote his own using the HttpClient and HttpClientFactory classes and REST. "I provide a test project with a lot of tests. And when you look at the simplest one, is that you get your instance of the Generative AI type, which you pass in either your API key, if you want to use it against Google AI, or you pass in your project ID and location if you want to use it against Vertex AI. Then you specify which model that you like to use, and you specify the prompt, and the method that you call is then GenerateContent and you get the response back. So effectively with four lines of code you have a full integration of Gemini into your .NET application."— Jochen Kirstaetter Along the way, we discuss the fact that Jochen had to look into the Python, JavaScript, and even Go SDKs to get a better understanding of how his .NET SDK should work. We discuss the “Pythonistic .NET” and “.NETy Python” code that developers can accidentally end up writing, if they're not careful when moving from .NET to Python and back. And we also talk about Jochen's use of tests as documentation for his SDK. Anyway, without further ado, let's sit back, open up a terminal, type in `dotnet new podcast` and we'll dive into the core of Modern .NET. Award winning entreprenuer addresses top concerns within the military spouse community. For the emotional and visual experience, check out our YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohgstv5QWtIJaime Chapman owns a Military Spouse Staffing Agency and is the Co-Founder of the United States Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce (https://milspousechamber.org/)In this episode of The David Johnson Show, Jaime breaks down the impact of military spouses putting their careers on hold. The military spouse demographic is drastically underemployed with one in four military spouses being unemployed. Jaime tells the truth about being a military spouse and what a day in the life of a military spouse looks like. Since the military spouse unemployment rate is so high, Jaime also details the many aspects of military spouses taking their career from freelancing to military spouse entrepreneurship - military spouse professional development and military spouse education being just some of them.In this military podcast, we learn that one in three military families move every year. In the five years, Jaime has been married to her Active Duty husband, they have lived in four homes, two states, and a different country. This is one reason why a military wife has a difficult time growing and maintaining a steady career. This is why over half of military spouses turn to self-employment sometime during their “career.”The Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce (MSCC) is one resource for freelance or entrepreneur military spouses. MSCC has a proprietary certification process that can allow your business to be officially labeled as a “Military Spouse Owned Business” - in turn allowing the business owner to engage in different programs, receive benefits and participate in supplier diversity options the Chamber brings to the table. It's a true military spouse support system. The David Johnson Podcast is the fastest-growing military show online. In this episode, Baylor Men's Basketball S&C Coach, Charlie Melton, joins me to talk about the program's first National Championship. We talk about what was different this year, in comparison to previous seasons. We also catch up on how much things have changed in the decade that has passed since I was getting my start in his weight room. We cover 5-Zone training, the unique responsibilities he has at an elite basketball program, how he prioritizes training variables at different times and phases of the year, how he coaches nutrition via behavioral change, and some advice he would have given himself, and me (or others just starting out in the sport performance industry) 10 years ago. We also cover just how important the right kind of music is in the weight room, and how the right beat can turn a dragging session into a very productive, energetic, and memorable workout. Charlie Melton enters his 17th season working with the Baylor men's basketball team as director of athletics performance in 2021-22. Melton joined the Bears in June 2005 after spending four seasons as a full-time strength coach at Florida State University. He spent one season as a graduate assistant for FSU's football program before being hired as a full-time strength coach in 2001. In May 2014, Melton was recognized as a Master Strength and Conditioning coach (MSCC) by the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association. The title is the highest honor that can be achieved by a strength & conditioning coach, and Melton is the only current Baylor strength coach to have earned the recognition. A 1998 graduate of the University of Memphis, Melton earned a master's degree in exercise and sport science from his undergraduate alma mater in 2000. He worked as a graduate assistant in the strength department under Todd Stroud and with Memphis' Exercise and Sport Nutrition Research Lab under current Baylor professor Dr. Richard Kreider from 1998 to 2000. In his career, Melton has trained 31 NFL Draft picks, including nine first-round picks and one Heisman Trophy winner, five NBA Draft picks and four track and field national champions. An accomplished weightlifter, Melton placed third and fourth in the Collegiate Weightlifting National Championships in 1997 and 1998, respectively. Melton is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA). He has also completed the certification requirements of Level 1 club coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW).

Remember things were going great in Israel - there was much affluence at this time. The malls were busy - skyscrapers were being built - businessmen were praised for their adventuring capital - architects were lauded for their engineering brilliance - everyone had a burgeoning 401K. All was good - at least on the surface- and at least for what matters to most men - but there was evil in the land- unrighteousness prevailed. And God sent Micah to call them to repentance.----Micah makes clear that all are guilty - the magistrates- the religious leaders- and the people themselves. All four of the great governments are in rebellion to the Lord - civil government- church government- family government- and self-government are all in shambles.----Here in chapter 3 - Micah takes to task the magistrates or civil government and the religious leaders and figures of the day or church government. 25 min.
