6 Years Recording. Every Other Wednesday. Countless Women with Cool Jobs. No sponsors. Just inspiration!Saying that this podcast has changed my life is an understatement. These women are trailblazing, innovating, and leading across industries, trades, and businesses. They have shared their stories with such passion, chutzpah, and the gift of a raw and unfiltered look at the behind-the-scenes and in-the-weeds details that we don't get to see by scrolling highlight reels on Instagram or seeing updates on LinkedIn. It has given me so much perspective and a whole lot more curiosity in  reconsidering what's possible, evaluating the risks worth taking, questioning how I think, and more. For the moment, I am pushing the pause button and taking a break from podcasting to create some time for family and a bit of space for summer. So keep close, as there is no way I am stopping for good...because I love it too dang much. And, if you want more access to me, my resources and coaching on getting clarity and confidence when podcast guesting, I want to invite you to visit womenwithcooljobs.com and send a message or DM me @womencooljobs on Insta. If you'd love to watch the video version of the interviews, be sure to subscribe to the podcast's YouTube channel HERE.Send Julie a text!!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I absolutely LOVE being the host and producer of "Women with Cool Jobs", where I interview women who have unique, trailblazing, and innovative careers. Almost six years later, and I have found myself completely re-evaluating!I chat about the irony of now experimenting with publishing this podcast as AUDIO and as VIDEO on YouTube when that was the absolute opposite of what I wanted at the beginning. Being HEARD was scary enough. The thought of being SEEN, too, was absolutely, positively NOT an option.Never say never, because the combination of iterating and my curiosity are leading to something new... Chelsea Ross is the founder of Goddess Retreats, an award-winningwellness sanctuary in Bali that is a safe and supportive community for women seeking self-discovery and connection. She launched the world's first luxury, women-only surf and yoga retreat in 2003, long before it became mainstream. At that time, men and boys were often the only ones participating in the sport of surfing. She proved that women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities can surf -- and that you don't need to fit the media's image of a ‘surfer girl' to be part of the ocean's magic. Over the years, she expanded her offerings to include wellness, healing, and cultural experiences, too. The sanctuary blends personal growth with cultural immersion, pairing private villa stays with unlimited indulgent spa treatments, daily yoga, and holistic healing. There are also now two locations: the rice paddies of Ubud and the peaceful coastline of Seminyak. Chelsea has lived all over the world -- in southeast Asia, Australia, and Canada. She also has had very diverse work experience, including in hospitality, sales and marketing, as a life coach, salon owner, and more.Contact Info:Chelsea Ross - GuestGoddes Retreats (Instagram)Goddess Retreats websiteJulie Berman - Hostwww.womenwithcooljobs.com@womencooljobs (Instagram)Julie Berman (LinkedIn)Send Julie a text!!Hey, thanks so much for listening to the podcast.
