Episode 424 of The VentureFizz Podcast features Kelton (or KJ) Hardrict, CEO & Co-Founder of Talvy. Is the resume officially dead? It's been a moment that seemed inevitable. I mean, the first resume credit goes to Leonardo da Vinci and that was over 500 years ago. I've been in recruiting for over 20 years and I can officially say that this is the first moment where disruption in the industry is truly happening. AI has killed the resume and when you think about it, for a lot of jobs these days that require some level of AI aptitude, what you did 10 years ago doesn't really count as much anymore. So, I'm saying it… the resume is dead and this is good news for a recently funded startup. Meet Talvy – a video-first networking platform that lets professionals showcase who they are, not just what's on their resume. It's like TikTok-meets-LinkedIn which allows people to be seen and voice their skills and interests versus a traditional resume. The company recently announced a $2M seed round of funding led by Link Ventures. Screenwriters/producers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski have written some of the most offbeat and imaginative movies of the last three decades, including "Ed Wood," "The People vs. Larry Flynt," "Man on the Moon" and "Big Eyes." Gilbert and Frank dropped by Scott and Larry's hotel as the boys prepped for the MOMA premiere of "Big Eyes" to talk about everything from their critically reviled debut film, "Problem Child" (featuring a certain shrill-voiced comedian) to their attempts at a Marx Brothers biopic and an "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" sequel. PLUS: Margaret Keane's existential crisis! Kelton the Cop demands a cameo! Gallagher vs. Gallagher II! “Ed Wood & Bela Lugosi: A Love Story”! And Scott and Larry meet the King of Pop! Alt dette og meget mere diskuterer vi med ugens gæst, phd. studerede i filosofi med speciale i autonome våbensystemer Sune WithVært: Maia Kahlke LorentzenGæst: Sune With Støt os på PatreonKilder:Sullivan, S.; Ricket, I, 2024, "Targeting in the Black Box," 16th International Conference on Cyber Conflict: Over the Horizon (CyCon), Tallinn, Estonia, pp. 207-220.https://doi.org/10.23919/CyCon62501.2024.10685575IDF, 2024, ”The IDF's Use of Data Technologies in Intelligence Processing”, IDF Press Releases (Accessed January 19, 2025)https://www.idf.il/en/mini-sites/idf-press-releases-israel-at-war/june-24-pr/the-idfs-use-of-data-technologies-in-intelligence-processing-published-june-18-2024/Abraham, Yural, November 30. 2023, “A mass assassination factory: Inside Israels calculated bombing of Gaza”, +972Magazine, (Accessed March 3. 2025)https://www.972mag.com/mass-assassination-factory-israel-calculated-bombing-gaza/Abraham, Yural, April 3. 2024, “Lavender”:The AI machine directing Israels bombing spree in Gaza, +972Magazine, (Accessed March 25. 2025). https://www.972mag.com/lavender-ai-israeli-army-gaza/Definitioner og beskrivelser af AI-DSS i militæret. James DuMont #5Take a walk with me down Fascination Street, as I get to know even more about James DuMont. This is James' FIFTH time on the show; so we don't do a whole deep dive into his past. But we do a little bit of some digging into some of his older stories. In this episode, James shares fun stories about growing up and the moment he realized that something he did could affect the hearts, minds, and emotions of the people around him. Then we get into the importance of storytelling and what it means to be a storyteller. We chat a little about his previous Christmas movie called 'Candy Cane Lane' and even some fun behind the scenes about a project he is working on with his son Kelton. James discusses a recent change up in his representation, and how that is coming along. Finally, we get into his new film 'Hunting Season'; where he stars alongside the iconic Mel Gibson. Hilarious stories of setbacks and growth, plus things he learned on the set of this film. Even after more than 30 years in the industry, it's good to know that James can always learn a new nugget to help him in his career. 'Hunting Season' is available everywhere on VOD and stars: Mel Gibson, Sofia Hublitz, Shelley Hennig, James DuMont, and many more amazing actors. I can't wait for you to see James in his dope ass Stetson Hat!

Kelton, who regualrly leads us in worship shared his first full semron ever on how the Holy Spirit unites us as people.
Not many CMOs can say they've had just one job their entire career, but our guest this week can say he can. Joining Jim is Colin Kelton, the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Vanguard, the 50-year-old investment management giant founded by legendary investor John Bogle. Vanguard is a pioneer in asset management, with a unique investor-owned company structure. It has a simple and powerful purpose: To take a stand for our investors, to treat them fairly, and to give them the best chance for investment success. Colin's story is unusual in today's world. He started with Vanguard in 1990, fresh out of Penn State, and he never left. Over the years, he has held a number of leadership positions, including Chairman and CEO of Vanguard Australia. In 2018, he became Vanguard's first Global CMO, and in January 2024 he added Chief Communications Officer to his responsibilities.Recorded in person at the Next Gen CMO Academy at Deloitte University, this conversation explores Colin's remarkable journey, what it means to lead with purpose, and how a lifetime at one company can shape both a career and a culture.---This week's episode is brought to you by Deloitte.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This episode was first shared in 2023, and here's what I had to say: You know how sometimes these conversations are only very, very, very tenuously linked to a queer space, and in the intro I try and come up with some justification for why we didn't talk that much about it to prepare you for the episode ahead? Well, dear listener, this week I'm not even going to try to insult your intelligence by pretending that we talked about a queer space, cause we didn't. I failed you.BUT, that's not to say that it's not a great conversation! I was lucky enough to sit down with Jaimie Kelton, actor, voiceover artist, author and host of the Queer Family podcast. And in our conversation we talk all about what it's like to grow up in one of the gayest cities in the world, San Francisco, but still battle with coming to terms with your own sexuality, how to shed the idea of yourself being a 'good girl', and why the stereotype of the u-haul lesbian is so damn persistent...
Wow... The conclusion of season 4 is coming far sooner than we could have possibly anticipated, and we are pleased with the outcome. But WOW, we couldn't have come up with a greater way to begin wrapping it up. During their time together, Kase and Kelton not only share their experiences with the team regarding the various endeavors they have undertaken throughout their time in college, but they also offer guidance to anyone who aspires to achieve excellence in their chosen field. It's possible that this is a livestock judger 101 episode, but it says a lot about a person's character, determination, and the places that leave a lasting impression upon oneself.
In this heartfelt episode, I sit down with Jaimie Kelton of the If These Ovaries Could Talk podcast to explore the real experiences of queer parenting, non-bio connection, and the power of chosen family. We dive into the fears, joys, and boundary-pushing truths that come with raising kids in queer households—and why these stories matter to all of us. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally raising kids in today's world, this conversation is packed with wisdom, laughter, and reminders that parenting is a radical act of love. In a recent opinion piece published in The Cipher Brief, former senior CIA Executive Mark Kelton suggests that the country's leading intelligence organization has a trust problem both with policy makers and the public. One component of that problem that Kelton argues poses an existential threat to the Agency, is leakers. Cipher Brief CEO & Publisher Suzanne Kelly talks with Kelton – who oversaw the CIA's response to the devastating intelligence leaks made by Edward Snowden – about why he believes the future effectiveness of the Agency depends on restoring trust.

This week I sat down with Jaimie Kelton, host of The Queer Family Podcast, and she shared her personal journey through infertility as a queer woman. We discussed the complexities of family building, the importance of community support, and the unique challenges faced by queer couples. We chatted about her process of selecting a sperm donor, the significance of representation, and the legal hurdles that often accompany queer family building that I hadn't even thought of for my LGBTG+ clients. Jamie emphasizes the need for open conversations about donor conception with children and offers valuable advice for queer couples navigating their own paths to parenthood. What do you get when you mix voiceover talent, musical theatre chops, and two kids made with a lot of love (and even more paperwork)? You get Jaimie Kelton—host of the LGBTQ family podcast The Queer Family Podcast and all-around awesome human. In this episode, we dive into allyship that actually shows up, why inclusivity isn't optional (especially in parenting), and how representation helps us all raise better humans. Oh—and did we mention the cupcakes at school board protests? Yeah, that happened. Also, Jaimie literally brought her sperm donor out of retirement. No big deal. If you've ever wondered how to be a better ally—or just want to hear real talk with a lot of heart and a few giggles—this one's for you.
The national deficit usually feels like an abstract talking point: America's permanent credit card bill that just keeps getting bigger, without ever coming due.But suddenly, our national debt has a real cost. As President Donald Trump's proposed tax cuts threaten to add trillions to the deficit, every major credit rating agency has now downgraded the United States' credit rating, suggesting that the U.S. is no longer a reliable borrower — a move with potentially disastrous, far-reaching consequences for the global economy. To unpack what's at stake, David Sirota sits down with Stephanie Kelton, a world-renowned economist and pioneer in Modern Monetary Theory, to ask her big questions: What does a credit downgrade mean? Should we really be thinking about America's spending and debt like it's a household budget? And how exactly could too much national debt bankrupt the country? The answers, argues Kelton, necessitate transforming our perception of money itself.

James DuMont #4 Take a walk with me down Fascination Street as I chat with actor James DuMont for the FOURTH time! James has been on every other year; 2019, 2021, 2023, and now 2025. Obviously, we don't do the "how did you get from where you were to where you are" thing this time. Go back and check out his previous appearances for that. In this episode, we chat about the conclusion of HBO's hit series The Righteous Gemstones. Season 4 was the final season and was released not long ago. James played Chad on 20 episodes of the series, and James' real life son Kelton played Pontius Gemstone. James shares fun stories from the set, including some of the things he learned, some of the things he appreciated, and some of the things that he will miss from working with this amazing group of professionals. Next, we move onto a discussion about his new movie 'Unit 234', where he stared alongside the great Don Johnson. This was filmed during covid, and it is where James actually caught covid for the first time. So he explains what it was like to be 'trapped' in a 4-star hotel on the beach in The Cayman Islands. The DuMonts both recently made a change in management after 30 years, so I ask him all about why, and how it has been going since the change. Finally, we discuss James' other job. For more than a decade, James has been teaching actors how to properly film and submit self-taped auditions. For over fifteen years, James has himself been booking auditions via self-taped submissions. As a matter of fact, James has book well over a million dollars in acting jobs from self-tapes. He has over 2500 students across many countries and continents, and he gives a couple of tips to the Streetwalkers! Make sure you check out his 'On Camera Workouts' Instagram page and reach out to him if you would like to participate.

Kevin joins us to talk about his journey working for two of the most famous sketch comedy shows of all time, writing sketches for established characters for the likes of Eddie Murphy and Martin Short, as well as writing some of the era's most memorable pieces for Jim Belushi. He discusses the shift in the show's atmosphere with the arrival of the S10 “all-stars,” shares tales of sketches that never made it to air, and defends the importance of Dick Ebersol to the show's survival And, Kevin recounts his story of being one of the only people asked to come back to the show after Lorne Michael's return for S11.---------------------------------Subscribe today!Follow us on social media: X (Twitter): NR4PTProjectBluesky: nr4ptproject.bsky.socialInstagram: nr4ptprojectFacebook: The Not Ready for Prime Time ProjectContact Us: Website: https://www.nr4project.comEmail: nr4ptproject@gmail.com
The roping world knew Ketch Kelton was an animal, but walking into the Lazy E and winning the Cinch Timed Event Championship in his rookie appearance at just 19 made some jaws really drop—except, perhaps, anyone who knew Kelton and how absolutely cowboy this guy really is. In the last year, Kelton has won the JR Patriot, the NTR Finals, the High School Finals Rodeo, the South Point Super Qualifier and placed at the Bob Feist Invitational, and he won the Cinch Timed Event Championship with ease. But for all Kelton's talents, telling us long stories in interviews really still isn't his jam. Luckily, we had Casey Allen chatting with his mom, too, so this interview is both Ketch and Tammy Kelton, talking about what this win means to the whole family. ---
