I remember way back when I opened Microsoft Word, and there was Clippy, the annoying paperclip that tried to help me. He was so bad, they made memes about him. When I type something in, autocorrect can make it worse. I remember my former boss, who would spell words so badly that auto correct even got it wrong. Spell check is better, but it doesn't stop people from misspelling my name. The danger is when technology that is supposed to help us only helps us 80% of the time. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are supposed to be the saviors, but they are only as good as the training they are given. We have to trade off having a poorer experience but having our data private. I'm still not sure what they are doing "But as we try to do AI to new things, it's messy at first because it's still learning. It's like a child. And it's only as good, though, as the training it's given. So we're all human and we train it, and then you can add machine learning to it, which trains it at a higher rate." In this episode, you will learn the following: What is the most frustrating experience with technology that you have had? What is your opinion on AI and its capabilities? What do you think about the trade-off between privacy and convenience when it comes to technology? Erin McCullough is a thought leader, coach/mentor and guide that teaches people how to create Impenetrable Joy in their life so that they can be calm, have peace of mind and meaning in their life, NOW! The second was an accident in which she nearly killed someone, and the third a divorce, which leveled her, even though she had spent years and 10s of thousands of dollars on self-development. Through these experiences Erin learned how and why they happened and developed strategies to overcoming and preventing anxiety, stress, worry and overwhelm, and that is what she teaches now.
