South Bend Cubs starting pitcher Ryan Gallagher made his third professional start against the Beloit Sky Carp in a mid-afternoon game at a somewhat windy Four Winds Field. Gallagher came out sharp, retiring the first eight batters he faced consecutively before allowing an infield hit. That infield single eventually came around to score in the top of the third inning, tying the game at one apiece. The South Bend Cubs had gotten on the board early, plating a run in the bottom of the first. Jefferson Rojas led off with a single and later scored when Ariel Armas lined a base hit to left field for an RBI single off Beloit starter Jake Brooks. In the bottom of the third, the Cubs threatened again, loading the bases after Armas was hit by a pitch. Edgar Alvarez followed with a single over the infield, scoring Ivan Brethowr and Andy Garriola to give South Bend a 3–1 lead. Armas was thrown out at the plate trying to score on the same play, ending the rally. Gallagher kept the momentum going with a scoreless top of the fourth, but ran into trouble in the fifth. He gave up two runs before being replaced by reliever Joe Nahas. The Sky Carp tied the game at 3–3. In the top of the sixth, Nahas struggled early, allowing the first two batters to reach base. He then committed a balk, moving the runners to second and third with nobody out. Colby Shade doubled to right field, scoring Ryan Ignoffo and moving Yiddi Cappe to third, giving Beloit a 4–3 lead. Michael Snyder followed with a single to left field, scoring both Cappe and Shade to extend the Sky Carp lead to 6–3. After the damage, Nahas managed to get the Cubs out of the inning by inducing an inning-ending double play to stop the bleeding. In the top of the seventh, Johzan Oquendo came in to relieve Nahas. He walked the bases loaded but stood strong under pressure, managing to keep the Sky Carp from scoring any more runs and keeping the Cubs within striking distance. In the bottom of the eighth, the Cubs made a strong push, hitting two rockets, one of which was snagged in the outfield and the other stopped by a great play in the infield. The Cubs were unable to get anything going, as the Sky Carp defense held firm, preventing a rally from forming. In the top of the eighth, Cubs pitcher Sam Thoresen struck out the side, keeping the Cubs in the game. However, while warming up for the top of the ninth, something happened, forcing him to leave the game before he could pitch the inning. Marino Santy came in to relieve Thoresen but struggled, issuing a few walks. The Sky Carp capitalized, scoring a run to extend their lead to 7–3. The Cubs made a last-ditch effort in the bottom of the ninth, loading the bases with two outs. However, a ground out ended the game, and the Sky Carp secured a 7–3 victory. I denne episoden av Scoochpodden reiste vi til en eksepsjonell Ford-familie i Larvik. Etter sigende skulle det stå ikke bare en Ford GT40 i garasjen, men to! Far i huset Reidar opplevde motorsporten fra sidelinjen på den legendariske Hovlandbanen og der ble planen lagt. Her må det jobbes slik at man kan få tak i en bil med skikkelig motorsport-DNA, med andre ord en Ford! Det begynte bra men siktet lå høyere, kanskje en Lotus Cortina, eller hva med den tøffe silhuetten fra Fords Motorcraft forpakninger? Hva er egentlig det? Senere ble det både kone og barn og dermed var teamet klart for motorsport! Og etter nesten 20 år på banen møtte familien Lee Holman hos legendariske Holman & Moody i Charlotte. Og det viste seg at Lee kunne kurere selv den tøffeste kløe! Are Thoresen er veterinær og har studert akupunktur, osteopati og homeopati. De siste årene har han jobbet ut fra midtpunkts-teorien og med åndelig medisin.I denne episoden snakker vi om translokasjon, som er et svært spennende tema. Tonje ThoresenPhotographer Tonje is a storyteller. She has always explored ways to present multiple sides of objects or people, and photography naturally became her vocation.'For me every moment has a value – and only a photo can immortalize that – it will tell you more about a person or a moment than a dozen words can. 'She was born and educated in Norway and moved to Berlin to study art and fashion at the Lette Verein. After completing her diploma Tonje moved to Paris, where she worked as an illustrator for the couture houses and young avant garde designers of the time. During this time Tonje also became a fashion model for Dior, Chanel, Carven and L'Oreal.Her experience in the visual and aesthetic worlds of art and fashion sparked Tonje's interest in photography, and her experience in front of the camera became a valuable asset. She specialized in portraiture, undertaking projects for public figures and individuals while establishing a recognisable personal style.‘I love to take pictures of people - to show them what they can give, to bring out the character and natural attraction in every person and to tell their story'As a photoreporter Tonje became a regular at the Paris Fashion weeks working both backstage and front of house for the Couture and Pret à Porter collections. David Thoresen Discusses His New Role at NOX Corporation by Floor Focus Magazine

This is perhaps the most important podcast I've recorded so far, because it deals with a topic that is becoming increasingly relevant with the growing popularity of psychedelics, occult practices and technology.On this episode I speak with Norwegian healer and author Are Thoresen about his 2020 book Demons and Healing: The Reality of the Demonic Threat and the Doppelgänger in the Light of Anthroposophy: Demonology, Christology and Medicine.Are Thoresen was born in Norway in 1952. A doctor of veterinary medicine, he has also studied anthroposophic medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, osteopathy and agriculture. Since 1981 he has run a private holistic practice in Sandefjord, Norway, for the healing of small animals and horses, as well as people. He has lectured widely, specializing in veterinary acupuncture, and has published dozens of scholarly articles. In 1984 he started to treat cancer patients, both human and animals, and this work has been the focus of much of his recent research. He is the author of Demons and Healing and several other books on complementary medicine.In our conversation Are and I discuss many aspects of demonic entities and possession — how they are created, how they cause physical and mental disease, and how we can transform them and protect ourselves from them. In his books Are writes in great detail about these entities, and trust me, it can begin to feel pretty complex and overwhelming. In an attempt to keep this conversation grounded and relatable, I thought it would be helpful if I shared my personal experience with a demonic entity that I encountered while experimenting with astral projection as a teenager, and how I dealt with it 20 years later in the Santo Daime ayahuasca church. This experience is something that I've only talked about with 2 or 3 people over the years, and while I'm a little reluctant to share it publicly, I feel that it could actually save someone's life. Om hvordan en 14-åring fra Hamar bestemte seg for å spille i verdens beste ligaer - og endte opp med å gjøre det. Om å vinne respekt på den rette måten. Om å lede gjennom handling.
