In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio talking about the addition of former Penn State linebacker Te'Mere Robinson from the NCAA Transfer Portal. The 6-foot-3, 223-pound Robinson gives the Trojans' linebacker room some much needed depth. Robinson didn't play much on defense in his two years with the Nittany Lions (107 total defensive snaps), but he was having a solid spring camp in Happy Valley prior to entering the portal. USC also lost another player to the portal, redshirt freshman Jarvis Boatwright out of Clearwater, Florida did not see any action in 2024 and will now try his luck at another program for 2025. On today's episode, we're talking to Coach Dick LeBeau. Dick LeBeau was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1973 to 2017, finishing his career as the defensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans. Over his forty-five years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 353-347-2. He was the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals from 2001 until the 2002 season, during which time the Bengals went 8-24-0. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons. LeBeau was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010 after his playing career. To most NFL fans, Dick LeBeau is known as a football lifer, Pro Football Hall of Fame member, and mastermind behind the revolutionary zone blitz defense. Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau joins the "Bleav in Steelers" show to discuss his new book "Legendary." The book is due out on July 9. LeBeau's book focuses on what made the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2008 defense legendary. "Bleav in Steelers" co-host Ike Taylor played 11 of his 12 NFL seasons with LeBeau, who was the Steelers' defensive coordinator from 2004-2014. LeBeau discussed his career, 14 years as a Hall of Fame cornerback and 45 years as a legendary coach. He discussed how he used his knowledge as a player to coach. Taylor and LeBeau shared their Steelers memories. It includes winning Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII. He also shared what it was like coaching Taylor. He grew up a fan of Troy Polamalu and wore 43 for years. Steelers reporter Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joined the show. Troy Fautanu is a solid pick at 20th and has versatility to move to guard, if necessary. He should be the right tackle with Broderick Jones at left. Ray doesn't even think Dan Moore will be on the 53-man roster in September at this point. Free association.

It wouldn't make sense to quickly pull the plug on Wilson, who has been labeled the starter, but the entire offseason has been wild.
