The Cleveland Guardians continue their west coast trip, which gives us the chance to finish our 2024 position preview series with second base. We took a look back at Andres Gimenez 2022 season and his 2023, to see if the 2024 version will be something in between. As we are all used to watching singing contest like American Idol and those similar, it is not often that we see one with a perceived disability on the stage.

I've known Marcus Moore for years. I remember seeing him racing the tracks in Minnesota and saying who in the world is that kid! Right now he's one of the top 16 experts in the country while riding  for Black Widow. Marcus' season has started out well with wins at several nationals.  I recently spoke with him by phone. We talked about Minnesota BMX, his favorite tracks, and preparing to move to the very competitive class of 17-20 expert.  I think you'll enjoy this interview because it shows at 16 years old Marcus is thoughtful, hardworking , and likes to have fun.

Kun pienenä kuuntelin Hurriganeseja, mun isä sanoi, että tämä rumpali joka laulaa on Remu Aaltonen ja romani. Mä ajattelin että: 'Wau, se on mahdollista, musta voi kans tulla rockmuusikko jos mä haluan'! Romanikulttuuri ei ole este, vaan rikkaus, toteaa Dimitri Keiski. Kun Dimitri oli 8 tai 9 vuoden ikäinen, hän kuuli suomalaisen pop-ikonin Dannyn esittämän kappaleen Piilopaikka. Silloin hän päätti, että hänkin haluaa laulajaksi. Eräänä päivänä jokin aika sitten puhelin soi ja Danny kysyi, haluaako Dimitri lähteä hänen kiertueelleen mukaan. Dimitri tuskin uskoi korviaan - hänen oli vaikea ymmärtää todeksi, että hän pääsee mukaan idolinsa konsertteihin esiintymään. Totta se oli, ja kaksi D:tä, Dimitri ja Danny  lauloivat myös duettona lavalla. Originally from the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia D.R.E.S currently resides in Atlanta, GA, and has been described as a multi-talented phenomenon. His name is an acronym for the Divine Real Essence of Sound (D.R.E.S.). D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik has been compared to artists such as Rahzel the Godfather of Noize, Bobby McFerrin, Doug E. Fresh, and Biz Markie. In addition to the artists mentioned, D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik has also taken the stage with Black Eyed Peas, KRS-One, MF Doom, Busta Rhymes, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slick Rick, Mos Def, Jurassic5, Dilated Peoples, Public Enemy, Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Rakim, Del the Funkee Homosapien, DJ Krush, Massinfluence, the Roots, Kanye West, DJ Green Lantern, Common, and Erykah Badu. Hän tuli alunperin tunnetuksi Sisuradion kautta ja nyt on Ruotsin tv-yleisö valinnut hänet maan parhaaksi laulajaksi.
