How can you be sure you're planning a wedding that your family and friends will actually enjoy? In my job as a celebrant here in Australia this wedding season, I've been reminded of some of the basics of wedding planning and how, frequently, it doesn't matter how big or modest your budget is. These concepts are about making a welcoming and comfortable space for your guests so they want to stay, and in fact, when the lights come on after last drinks have been called:1) There'll still be people there and2) There'll be an audible groan that the celebrations have come to an end.Today I'm sharing the top 10 things that wedding guests secretly hate, but won't complain about (to you, at least). Wedding Empires Podcast - Grow and Market Your Dream Wedding Business
Hey there, it's Jac Bowie, your host of the Wedding Empires podcast. In this episode, I wanted to share with you some of the tools and equipment I use to create this podcast every week. As a fellow wedding industry professional, I know how important it is to have the right setup to run or grow your wedding business.First off, I introduced the Elgato Stream Deck, a nifty little panel that allows me to control various aspects of my podcasting setup with just a touch. From starting and stopping different software to controlling my lights and music, this tool has been a game-changer for me.Next, I talked about the Rode NT USB microphone, specifically designed for podcasting. This microphone is easy to use, simply plugging into the back of your computer via USB. It comes with headphone and volume controls, making it a convenient choice for podcasters.I also highlighted the Elgato key lights, a set of lights that I can control through my computer, adjusting brightness and color temperature to suit my needs. These lights have been essential in creating the right ambiance for my podcast recordings.Moving on, I shared my experience with the Sony ZV-E10 camera, a versatile camera that I've set up as my permanent webcam. With excellent video quality and the ability to adapt to different setups, this camera has been a great addition to my podcasting arsenal.I then discussed the Elgato prompter, a tool that allows me to read my script while maintaining eye contact with the camera. This has been invaluable for presentations and webinars where I need to engage with my audience while staying on track with my content.Lastly, I mentioned the Audio Engine speakers, compact yet powerful speakers that enhance the audio quality of my recordings. Whether connected via mini-jack or USB, these speakers deliver crisp sound for a more immersive podcasting experience. If you're interested in checking out these tools, head over to my website jacbowie.com/resources where you'll find links to all the items mentioned in this episode. I am watching and reacting to an episode of Judge Ross where a bride wins an expensive wedding gown but decides to alter it, only to end up being sued by the bridal shop for damages. There is tons of drama and craziness of the courtroom. Will the bride prevail, or will she be left to face the consequences of her actions?
Welcome to my latest video! In this one, I am reacting to a video by Jessica Kobeissi called "Bride THREATENS DJ & Photographer After They LEAVE Wedding". As someone who specializes in weddings, I was intrigued by this video and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. Here is the original video: https://youtu.be/oKornTT3ch0 As we all know, weddings can be stressful events, but this video takes things to a whole new level. Jessica Kobeissi's video showcases a bride who becomes a "bridezilla" as she threatens the DJ and photographer after they leave her wedding. It's a shocking example of how emotions can run high on your big day. While this video may be entertaining to watch, it also serves as a cautionary tale for anyone planning a wedding. As a wedding professional, I always stress the importance of communication and setting expectations with your vendors. It's essential to have a clear understanding of what you're getting and what you can expect from your vendors. But what happens when things don't go as planned? This video highlights the potential legal consequences that can arise when a vendor doesn't meet your expectations. Lawsuits are never a good thing, and they can be costly and time-consuming. It's imperative to do your research and hire vendors you trust to avoid any potential issues. Overall, this video is a fascinating look at the wedding industry and the potential pitfalls that can arise. As a wedding professional, I always strive to provide my clients with the best possible service and mitigate any issues that may arise. I hope you enjoy this reaction video, and I encourage you to take a look at Jessica Kobeissi's original video for a deeper dive into this crazy wedding story. So, what are your thoughts on this video? Have you ever had any experiences with difficult clients or vendors? Let me know in the comments below! And if you're planning a wedding, be sure to do your research and hire vendors who are both professional and trustworthy. Thanks for watching!
I am reacting to a video online of a bride that filed a lawsuit against her maid of honor for crashing into her car. There are allegations of drinking, lewd conduct, fighting and so much more. This is not my typical reaction video. I usually look for videos that are all about weddings but did not realize until halfway into the video that this was just a fender bender case. However, I do admit it's entertaining
It looks like the pregnant ex -girlfriend of the groom is coming to crash the wedding and it looks like some fisticuffs happen and some altercations and some furniture got moved and all of that. Since we do everything weddings here at Complete Media, I decided I want to go ahead and check out this video.
I am the owner/operator of a videography company and I wanted to react to a case on Judge Judy where a husband and wife sue their wedding videographer for thousands of dollars when they only paid far less for the service.

Wedding guest sues Florida caterer after allegedly being served marijuana-laced food According to a lawsuit, which was filed on Monday, Virginia Ann Tayor-Svoboda said she suffered "severe, permanent injuries" and became "immediately ill" after eating the food at the wedding. She alleged Joycelyn Bryan, who owns Joycelyn's Southern Kitchen Inc., was negligent in allowing marijuana into the food, and is seeking more than $30,000 in damages. She has demanded a jurat trial. The wedding took place on Feb. 19, 2022, at The Springs Clubhouse in Longwood, Florida. Seminole County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the venue after some wedding guests began to complain of stomach pains and vomiting. Some guests were taken to the hospital, officials said. Video from a deputy's body-worn camera showed a deputy ask the bride and groom if they authorized the catering company to put cannabis in the wedding food. One person responds "no, sir," while a woman appears to stare and does not respond. The bride, later identified as Danya Glenny, and the catering manager, Bryant, were both arrested and booked into jail on several charges, including tampering with food and delivering marijuana. Glenny, the bride, has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to online court records. Bryant has also pleaded not guilty, according to online court records. A bride and her caterer in Seminole County have been accused of lacing wedding food served to guests with marijuana, according to arrest warrant affidavits. Around 30-40 people were at the venue and several complained of stomach pains and vomiting, authorities said. In two affidavits, authorities state that the bride and caterer have been charged with culpable negligence, delivery of marijuana, and violating Florida's Anti-Tampering Act, according to the outlet.
Jessica K. is a wedding photographer from Detroit. She shared a story of a difficult client experience that happened nearly 10 years ago. In 2009, a close family friend asked Jessica, who was an art student at the time with no professional photography experience, to photograph her wedding. Although hesitant, Jessica agreed after the client insisted. Jessica rented equipment, designed invitations, and photographed the engagement, bridal shower, and wedding at no cost as a favor to her friend. After the wedding, Jessica sent an invoice for $300, a very low amount. The client refused to pay, claiming the photos were blurry and unprofessional. She said Jessica had agreed to do the work for free, there was no contract, and she would not allow Jessica to use any photos publicly. Jessica felt taken advantage of and hurt by her friend's actions. She sued the client in small claims court at the advice of a family member, asking for $1,500. However, without a written contract, the judge ruled in favor of the client. Jessica learned a valuable lesson about always using written contracts for business to prevent misunderstandings and taken advantage of clients. Although the experience was upsetting, Jessica has forgiven her former friend and wishes her well. The story serves as a cautionary tale for others in business about the importance of contracts.

I found this video on YouTube, on the TMJ4 channel with the journalist being Rebecca Klopf. According to the video this wedding videographer is being sued for giving a client a video with almost all of the footage being from another bride's wedding. He is also allegedly being sued for not showing up to another bride's wedding. A third bride was interviewed and allegedly she hired his company to perform DJ, video, photo booth and lighting but only the DJ showed up.
