He then went on to graduate from Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, SD, and spent the next 8 years after graduating in Sioux Falls, SD. During his sophomore summer of high school, and every summer thereafter, Preston went on a mission trip with SBA. First to Mexico, then many years to The Honduras where he met Daniel and Laura Peal, and then to Puerto Rico since 2018. As a coach, Frankie has trained numerous champions who have competed in MMA, Golden Gloves, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Olympic trials and Pro boxing. In 2016 Frankie was selected as a guest coach for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 TV show on Fox Sports 1 Team CEJUDO vs Team Benivedas. In 2017 he was an official licenced UFC coach/corner man for the UFC on FOX Spots live TV show at The Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Frankie helped coach UFC fighter Alexandre Pantojo to a win over UFC fighter Eric Shelton. In the community, Frankie volunteers thousands of hours and dollars each year to community groups, Churches, clubs and schools worldwide. He now works as a volunteer with the Aurora Police Boxing Club and Cops Fighting Cancer Organizations. He is also the fundraising chair for CESDA Colorado Educational Services and Development Association program that teaches local high school, Jr. high and elementary students the importance of attending higher education.
