It's Friday, May 16th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims kill 2 Christian teachers Boko Haram Muslim terrorists recently targeted Christians traveling near a Nigerian army base along the deadly Damboa–Maiduguri highway, reports International Christian Concern. On May 12th, two Christian teachers were killed and several others were injured when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device allegedly planted by the Islamic terror group. Blessing Luka and Gideon Bitterleaf were both devoted Christian educators with the Damboa Local Education Authority. Pray that these Muslim murderers will be held accountable. Genesis 9:6 says, "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind." More children in United Kingdom have gender dysphoria Soaring numbers of children in England and Wales are waiting for specialist gender care from the National Health Service -- as youngsters of any age are now eligible for referral after the health service “caved to the pressure” of transgender activists to remove age limits, reports The Daily Mail and World Magazine. Average waiting times have grown to more than two years for a confused child to get a first appointment at a specialist health service clinic, with 157 of those aged under ten. There were 6,225 confused kids on the national waiting list at the end of March. That's up 12 per cent from the same point a year earlier. Young children believed to have gender dysphoria are generally given counselling and therapy with their family, but thankfully no longer prescribed hormone treatments. Indeed, Britain's National Health Service has moved away from a “medical model” in favor of a “holistic” approach to children's gender care, as per recommendations from the Cass Review. Puberty blockers are no longer prescribed to children for the treatment of gender dysphoria, after a ban last year was made permanent in December. Former FBI Director calls for Trump's assassination Former FBI Director James Comey is facing massive backlash after he posted a photo on his Instagram page calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump, reports Christian Talk show host Todd Starnes. An image of seashells that had been arranged on the beach to spell “86 47” was posted on Comey's personal Instagram account. The number “86” is code for killing someone. And, of course, “47” refers to the fact that Donald Trump is the 47th president of the United States. Comey wrote, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem tweeted, “Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey just called for the assassination of President Trump. [the Department of Homeland Security] and Secret Service is investigating this threat and will respond appropriately.” And Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama tweeted, “This is a direct THREAT against President Trump, who has already survived two assassination attempts. BEYOND despicable. James Comey MUST face consequences.” RFK Jr. agrees to examine the dangers of Abortion Kill Pill A recent study by the Ethics and Public Policy Center on the Abortion Kill Pill, mifepristone, showed that 11% of women experience adverse effects serious enough to send them to the Emergency Room. That's 22 times higher than what the Food and Drug Administration claims. Appearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on May 15th, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. agreed to a comprehensive review and relabeling of Mifepristone in response to a pointed question from Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, reports The Guardian. Listen. HAWLEY: “There's been a major study by the Ethics and Public Policy Center of 865,727 prescribed cases of mifepristone abortions, chemical abortions, between 2017 and 2023. This data shows the biggest study on mifepristone done, I think, ever, and it showed that nearly 11% of women experience very serious adverse health effects to include sepsis, hemorrhaging, infection, of course, emergency room visits. That rate is 22 times higher than the FDA's current label which says it's just 0.5 the incidence of serious adverse health events. “So, my question to you is this: You previously testified at the committee that you would do a top-to-bottom review of mifepristone. Do you continue to stand by that? And don't you think that this new data shows the need to do a review is, in fact, very pressing?” KENNEDY: “It's alarming, and clearly it indicates that, at very least, the label should be changed. I've asked Marty Makary, who's the director of FDA, to do a complete review and to report back.” HAWLEY: “Good!” South Carolina Supreme Court affirms Heartbeat Law The South Carolina Supreme Court ruled that the state may enforce its heartbeat-based abortion ban, rejecting an argument by Planned Parenthood to weaken the law, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Enacted in 2023, the law effectively bans most abortions after about six weeks gestation. South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster told the Daily Wire, “Time and time again, we have defended the right to life in South Carolina, and time and time again, we have prevailed. Today's ruling is another clear and decisive victory that will ensure the lives of countless unborn children remain protected and that South Carolina continues to lead the charge in defending the sanctity of life.” Psalm 127:3 says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Christian band under fire by atheists and superintendent And finally, a popular Christian band is under fire from atheists along with Davidson County Schools in North Carolina, reports Blue Ridge Broadcasting. The 3 Heath Brothers band had been invited to host an anti-bullying event at Hasty Elementary School. Their performance included a number of songs that mentioned God. Afterwards, they gave the kids a devotional pamphlet that included Bible verses. The Freedom From Religion Foundation was enraged over the performance and accused the school of being a recruiting ground for Christianity. The God-hating attorney, Madeline Ziegler, wrote, “The district cannot allow non-school persons to treat schools as a recruiting ground for their religious mission. Public schools are not an appropriate place for outside adults to convince students to convert to Christianity.” Sadly, the School Superintendent Gregg Slate was just as horrified with the Christian band and wrote a lengthy letter of apology to the atheists. But then, the school district went a step further. They had the audacity to demand that the 3 Heath Brothers remove video of the event from their social media pages. A bizarre request indeed. School officials claim they were duped. But Nicholas Heath of the 3 Heath Brothers denied that there was any proselytizing or worship service at the event. In this episode of Dream Interpretation Station, Sleep and Dream Specialist Leah Bolen explores the often misunderstood theme of death in dreams. She gently debunks the myth that dying in a dream means real-life death, offering a perspective rooted in transformation, release, and personal growth. Through one of her own vivid dreams and a powerful client example, Leah reveals how death in dreams can mark turning points, liberation, and new beginnings. She encourages listeners to pay attention to how they feel in these dreams—often peaceful rather than fearful—and to view them as loving messages from the inner self. These dreams, she explains, are invitations to let go of the old and step into what's next. “If a person is entrusted to care for a building and decides to tear it down, there's a moral imperative to disclose whether there are people inside. There are 20.6 million people and 566,000 children living inside PEPFAR.” PEPFAR is the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. And as of March 25, 2025, its congressional reauthorization has expired. For more than two decades, its website states, “the U.S. government has invested over $110 billion in the global HIV/AIDS response, the largest commitment by any nation to address a single disease in history—saving 26 million lives, preventing millions of HIV infections, and accelerating progress toward controlling the global HIV/AIDS pandemic in more than 50 countries.” Now, some estimate that over 20 million people will lose access to antiretroviral drugs, which may result in up to 1,650,000 deaths over the coming year. In this episode, Mark Labberton speaks with Mindy Belz, an award-winning journalist and longtime war correspondent, to explore the urgent moral and humanitarian implications of PEPFAR's uncertain future. Drawing on Belz's deep reporting experience in conflict zones and her time covering global health efforts, their conversation traces the remarkable legacy of the U.S. government's investment in HIV/AIDS relief, the stakes of congressional inaction, and the broader questions this crisis raises about American moral leadership, Christian charity, and global responsibility. Together they discuss: Mindy Belz's background as a journalist and war correspondent The significance of PEPFAR in the global battle against HIV/AIDS The pivotal leadership role the U.S. government has played in supporting AIDS relief efforts for the past two decades The devastating impact that losing PEPFAR would have on human life around the world, particularly in Africa And, perspectives on charity, moral conscience, and faith in American Christianity Helpful Links mindybelz.com Mindy's Article about PEPFAR: “1,650,000: How killing a global program to fight HIV/AIDS kills”: “PEPFAR contracts ended under Trump mean 20 million people on treatment now face HIV disease again. Without more reinstatements that could lead to a death toll of 1.6 million in a year's time.” About PEPFAR, the “President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief”: Through PEPFAR, the U.S. government has invested over $110 billion in the global HIV/AIDS response, the largest commitment by any nation to address a single disease in history – saving 26 million lives, preventing millions of HIV infections, and accelerating progress toward controlling the global HIV/AIDS pandemic in more than 50 countries. For over two decades, she has covered wars and victims of conflict in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Sudan and the Balkans. She recounts some of her experiences in a 2016 award-winning book, They Say We Are Infidels. Her work appears in The Wall Street Journal, Plough Quarterly, and other publications. The New York Times calls her “one of the bravest and best foreign correspondents in the country.” Mindy currently is editor of the 2024 Christianity Today Globe project. Her news roundup, Globe Trot, is read by thousands each week and available on Substack. She speaks internationally and has taught journalism courses in Uganda, India, Hungary, and the United States. She is the former senior editor at World Magazine. A mother of four and grandmother of three, Mindy was married for 40 years to Nat Belz, who died in 2023. She lives in North Carolina. Show Notes Mindy Belz: A Journalist in the Trenches Mindy Belz and her career at World Magazine Mindy's coverage of the AIDS pandemic in East Africa and the war in Sudan The rise of Islamic extremism, Al-Quaeda, and crossing the Tigris into Iraq Her early experiences in journalism and what drew her to war reporting How she came to report from the Middle East and other conflict zones The challenges Mindy faced as a woman journalist “We've all experienced some of the conflict in the world. We've all experienced some terrorism and violence … this is a part of life in a broken and fallen world, and so learning from women, from men, from children incredible resilience in the face of terrible breakdowns is that I just consider a real privilege of my work.” Working with a Sudanese NGO—finding starving people, barely surviving “For Americans, we always get to walk away. I'm really aware in whatever hard situation I'm in, there's little voice at the back of my brain that's saying, ‘Don't forget you get to go home.'” What is PEPFAR? “ President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief,” developed by George W. Bush in 2003 Trendsetting program to battle HIV/AIDS Anti-viral drug program to prevent the spread (but not cure) the disease “We still don't have a real cure for HIV.” “You have 20 million people who are currently taking antiretroviral drugs that are funded under PEPFAR and most of those people just suddenly could not have access to their medicine and, and that means that we are watching even now the disease grow.” “The Trump administration has basically shuttered the program and they have done so without the oversight of Congress.” Nicholas Kristof's NYT March 15 article estimates that 1.6 million people could die over the next year. Link: “Musk Said No One Has Died Since Aid Was Cut. That Isn't True.” “The scale of the devastation is mind-bending.” What can we do? “Congress is not exercising its oversight responsibilities right now.” “If a person is entrusted to care for a building and decides to tear it down, there's a moral imperative to disclose whether there are people inside. There are 20.6 million people and 566,000 children living inside PEPFAR.” What is the role of our government? “I've also seen PEPFAR working and working incredibly. I routinely and in lifesaving ways.” Understanding moral conscience “We are needing to call our nation not to a Christian identity, which I think is the, the false attempt of Christian nationalism, but to a moral identity. That people of faith, little faith, no faith, other faiths, can enter into and share. And I think some element of that has been operational in the United States for a very long time. And now all of that is being dismantled and being labeled, as you say, by a really cheap word like charity, as though there's no wider frame than simply compassionate sentimentality, as opposed to something that's really taking the moral realities of the world and all of their urgency seriously. And not pretending that we need to be (as we've sometimes tried to be as a nation) the healer of the nations, but to say that we should actually be a force for taking these issues with great national seriousness, and not just repudiating it because it's not inside the boundaries of our own country.” “Use the influence and the economic force of the United States to fund local programs.” “ We have the resources to go and make a difference in this situation. And by doing that we set an example for others to do it.” “We have adopted an attitude of scarcity.” The impact and efficacy of antiretroviral drugs to improve the lives of people with HIV/AIDS—”To suddenly cut them off is an act of cruelty.” “This is a system, not just medication.” “If we're suddenly saving $5 billion a year, what is that going to be used for?” ”If these things are all happening by executive decision, and Congress does not have a meaningful role, then essentially the people are cut out of the conversation.” “People who become sicker with HIV will become more likely to have tuberculosis, more likely to be suffering from other diseases than side effects of the virus itself.” Where Is God in All of This? “It's a dangerous world. Go anyway.” “We have to trust that the hand of God is there and that it will meet us in the midst of those hard situations.” Production Credits Conversing is produced and distributed in partnership with Comment Magazine and Fuller Seminary.

I lost some church members recently. They left evangelicalism to become Roman Catholic. That surprised me because I would consider that a reverse reformation. But as I did some research, it turns out that there is a slight trend, right now, of people leaving Protestantism, disillusioned with a variety of things, to make their way back to the church of Rome. How do we think about this theologically? How do we assess the differences in the branches of Christianity and the options available to us? How do we answer people who say that they are going back to the original church?Bekah McCallum, “Pilgrimage to Rome,” World Magazine, January 2025.Andrew Voigt, “Some Evangelicals Are Leaving Protestantism for Other Traditions,” August 13, 2024.Gavin Ortlund. If you are a regular reader of MinistryWatch, you know that we write a lot about ministries that care for the least and the lost in our culture. The Bible is clear that care for the poor should be one of chief concerns as Christians, but helping the poor in ways that are actually helpful is not easy. The issues are complex, and solutions require wisdom and discernment. One of the smartest, and most compassionate, people working in this field is my guest today, James Whitford. Whitford earned his doctorate from the University of Kansas Medical Center before he and his wife, Marsha, founded Watered Gardens Ministries in 2000. Watered Gardens has been on the forefront of the “effective compassion” movement for more than a decade. In 2019 it won WORLD Magazine's “Hope Award for Effective Compassion.” Whitford and Watered Gardens take no government funds, and they put Scripture front and center in their work. Whitford says that true freedom and dignity cannot flourish if people are trapped in dependence – whether than dependence is on alcohol, drugs – or the government. Whitford has taken the lessons he learned at Watered Gardens and created True Charity, a network of like-minded organizations (now numbering more than 200), that champions the “resurgence of civil society in the fight against poverty.” James has a new book out. It's called The Crisis of Dependency: How Our Efforts to Solve Poverty Are Trapping People In It And What We Can do To Foster Freedom Instead. I've been a fan of James Whitford for a couple of years, and now I've become a big fan of this book. I think every Christian donor who cares about helping the poor should have this book. And if you will stay tuned until the end of the program, I'll let you know how you can get your own copy. But until then, here's my interview with James Whitford. That brings to a close my interview with James Whitford. His new book is The Crisis of Dependency: How Our Efforts to Solve Poverty Are Trapping People In It And What We Can do To Foster Freedom Instead. We are making this book our donor premium for the month of February. That means that if you give a gift of any size to MinistryWatch, we'll send you a copy of this book as our thank-you gift. Just go to MinistryWatch.com and hit the donate button at the top of the page. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh. We technical, database, and editorial support from Christina Darnell, Casey Sudduth, Stephen duBarry, and others. I'm your host, Warren Smith. I hope you will join me again on Friday, when Natasha Cowden and I will bring you our take on the news of the week from MinistryWatch. Until then…may God bless you.

Homeschool graduate and World Magazine journalist Grace Snell believes homeschooling afforded her unique opportunities for community and exploration of her passions! Join Grace and Jeremiah Lorrig (HSLDA Director of Media Relations) as they discuss her military family upbringing and highlight how homeschooling fostered Grace's passion for storytelling, preparing her for a career in journalism. “I think sometimes, people who are considering homeschooling [face] a lot of fears: “what if this doesn't turn out,” or “what if they don't have social skills”. Instead, think, “what is it that I want for my family? What is my vision for our flourishing together, and what's the best way to reach that?” And if it seems like homeschooling is the best way to realize that, then don't be afraid to take that step or to jump in or to ask more questions. It could be a really beautiful opportunity!” —Grace Snell
"Rooted leadership means leading with empathy and care. It's about finding ways to connect with people and create communities of trust and psychological safety, where people feel safe enough to show up and be themselves – including in times of crisis."Today, we're talking to expert in organizational trauma, founder, and award-winning author, Dimple Dhabalia about what it means to be a rooted leader and how practicing story healing can help us all.We get into:- The impact of the Industrial Revolution- Why the mind-body connection is important (even–and maybe especially–at work)- Workplace trauma and moral injury in the workplace- Creating "brave spaces"- Self-awareness and the 5 types of reactions most of us have when experiencing a dysregulated nervous system- Neuroplasticity and the function of story sharing and story healing "The antidote to dehumanization is helping people see the humanity in each other again."This is important work for people to be doing – especially at work, in leadership, and right now. I hope you'll listen and share your takeaways!-----You can find Dimple @dimpstory across all social media platforms, and at dear HUMANitarian on Substack. Her book, Tell Me My Story: Challenging the Narrative of Service Before Self is available at all online booksellers.Dimple D. Dhabalia is the founder of Roots in the Clouds, a human-centered leadership coach, and bestselling author with over twenty years of government and public service experience. Dimple partners with leaders across mission-driven sectors to address root issues of organizational trauma, and design inclusive, human-centered workplace cultures where emerging and seasoned leaders can learn how to preserve their own humanity as they work to preserve it for others. After almost two decades working on the front lines of the government and humanitarian sectors, Dimple had experienced vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, moral injury, burnout, and anxiety. Like so many others, she worked in an organization that celebrated the resilience of the human spirit in the refugees and displaced persons they served, while often failing to extend the same ethos of care to those working within their own organizations.Determined to educate and support heart-centered leaders, she developed and launched the Daring Leaders Project (DLP), the first mindfulness-based leadership development program of its kind within her government agency. Her vision and leadership earned her Director's awards for Innovator of the Year and the Pillar of Leadership. In 2021, Dimple left a two-decade career in government and humanitarian service to launch Roots in the Clouds with a personal mission of putting the “human” back into humanitarian work and making service sustainable across mission-driven sectors. Today, Dimple's cutting-edge work uses the power of storytelling to help leaders and organizations heal and rebuild mission-driven cultures using a holistic, human-centered, and trauma-informed approach grounded in principles of mindful performance, positive psychology, and human-centered leadership. Her new book, Tell Me My Story–Challenging the Narrative of Service Before Self [Ambika Media 2024], was the #1 new release in workplace culture on Amazon, and was recently excerpted in the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Dimple and her work have also been featured in a number of high-profile podcasts and media outlets including, Fast Company, CEO World Magazine, and the Federal News Network. Dimple recently debuted a limited-series companion podcast to Tell Me My Story called Service Without Sacrifice and is also creator and co-host of the popular podcast What Would Ted Lasso Do? In today's episode, I spoke with Katy Faust, founder and president of Them Before Us, a global movement defending children's right to their mother and father. She's also the author of three books: "Them Before Us," "Raising Conservative Kids in a Woke City," and "Pro-Child Politics."I began by sharing my personal perspective as a stepparent, acknowledging that while my own family structure isn't ideal from the perspective of children's rights, it's important that we can discuss what's best for children without adults becoming defensive. I expressed how Katy's work resonates with me despite sometimes being difficult to hear, as it challenges us to put children's needs before adult desires. We explored Katy's concept of natural rights, which she explained through three key criteria: they must exist pre-government, nobody has to provide them, and they're distributed equally. She made a compelling case for how conservative values address the root causes of issues that liberals care about, demonstrating how family breakdown underlies many social problems like teen homelessness, incarceration rates, and suicide.A significant portion of our conversation focused on Katy's approach to raising children with strong values in challenging environments. She outlined three developmental phases - grammar, logic, and rhetoric - and explained how parents should adjust their approach during each phase. The grammar phase (elementary school) focuses on exposing children to truth and beauty while filtering out harmful content. The logic phase (middle school) involves purposefully introducing and discussing societal distortions. The rhetoric phase (high school) emphasizes emotional connection over teaching. We discussed practical strategies for parents who may have missed earlier opportunities to lay foundational worldview groundwork with their children. Katy stressed the importance of maximizing emotional connection through physical proximity and becoming knowledgeable about issues their children care about, rather than trying to force ideological discussions. The conversation concluded with insights about how parents can handle their fears about raising children with conservative values in progressive environments, and the importance of what Katy calls the "slow worldview handoff" - a four-step process of teaching children that moves from "I do, you watch" to "you do, I watch.”Katy Faust is Founder and President of Them Before Us, a global movement defending children's right to their mother and father, and author of the book by the same name. She publishes, speaks and testifies widely on why marriage and family are matters of justice for children. Her articles have appeared in Newsweek, USA Today, The Federalist, Public Discourse, WORLD Magazine, The Daily Signal, the Washington Examiner, the American Mind, and the American Conservative. She is on the advisory board for the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship. Katy helped design the teen edition of CanaVox which studies sex, marriage and relationships from a natural law perspective. Katy and co-author Stacy Manning detailed their philosophy of worldview transmission in their second book, Raising Conservative Kids in a Woke City. Her third book, Pro-Child Politics was published September 2024. She and her husband are raising their four children in Seattle.ROGD REPAIR Course + Community gives concerned parents instant access to over 120 lessons providing the psychological insights and communication tools you need to get through to your kid. For years, gardeners have been told to provide supplementary food for garden birds. Reasons for this include helping to compensate for a lack of food during a hard winter, increase competition for food at fledging time, and help to get adults into good breeding condition in spring. It's Tuesday, November 19th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Rwanda eager to tax churches The Christian church faces more challenges in Africa. The Rwandan parliament is considering legislation which could impose taxes upon churches in that African nation. The Rwandan governance board has already shut down 8,000 churches that do not comply with certain standards. 4 Christians killed in Mozambique, Africa In addition, Barnabas Aid reports that four Christians were killed in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique by Islamic State radicals. 3 Nigerian pastors kidnapped by Muslims Plus, at least three pastors have been kidnapped by Muslim militants in Southern Nigeria over the last few weeks. Nigeria remains one of the most dangerous nations in the world for Christians in 2024. Archbishop of Canterbury resigns over failure to discipline pedophile The top official in the Church of England, Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby has resigned his office. This comes after the release of a report investigating the 50-year abuse record of a church leader by the name of John Smyth. The church failed to discipline Smyth who had continued a pattern of sexual and physical abuse of boys in three different countries over a long period of time. Welby himself called the church's response "a long-maintained conspiracy of silence about the heinous abuses of John Smyth.” Welby's resignation also comes just a few weeks after he affirmed that homosexual activity was morally acceptable as long as there was what he called a “stable, committed and faithful relationship.” 1 Peter 4:17 states that “The time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God?” Mali, Africa criminalizes homosexual behavior The parliament of the West African country of Mali passed a law banning homosexual behavior on October 31st, joining 30 other African nations taking the same position. African nations towards the south and east of the continent, however, have done just the opposite — with their government legitimizing the practice over the last 10 years. This includes Gabon, Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, and Namibia. Migration up 10% worldwide The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has released the International Migration Outlook Report for 2024. It documents the highest level of migration from poor countries to rich countries in recorded history. This accounts for 6.5 million immigrants, not counting the 4.7 million Ukrainian immigrants due to the war. That's a 10% increase year-over-year. Nations reaching record levels of immigrants in 2023 included the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan, and Switzerland. Typhoon Man-yi in Philippines has 143 mile-per-hour winds (Sound from Typhoon Man-yi) The Philippines is bearing up under a record sixth typhoon this season. Typhoon Man-yi is equivalent to a Category 3 hurricane, sporting winds up to 143 miles per hour. More than half a million people have evacuated the Bicol region in Luzon to prepare for the storm. Thus far, seven people died in a related landslide, reports the Associated Press. At least 160 Filipinos have died in the previous five storms hitting the island nation this season. Missouri greenlights abortion up until 21 weeks By a vote of 52% to 48%, Missouri voters have set the course for legislation to allow for abortion in their state up to the point of fetal viability or 21 weeks gestation. Only South Dakota retained a pro-life position in the November election. Florida's vote to liberalize their abortion law failed by a 57-43% margin, just short of the 60% requirement. Florida will retain its position to kill babies up until the sixth week. Nebraska will allow for first trimester abortions, after this year's election. During this election, seven states created a so-called “right to abortion” in their state constitutions including Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, and New York. They join Ohio, Kansas, and Kentucky, the three states which previously approved pro-abortion referendums. Isaiah 1:4-6 says, “Alas, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity. … The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faints. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores.” Al Mohler opposes Matt Gaetz for Attorney General President-elect Donald Trump's selection for Attorney General is a bridge too far for some Christian leaders. In an interview with World Magazine, Al Mohler, the President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, called the selection of Matt Getz “shocking.” As The Worldview documented yesterday, Liberty Counsel President Mat Staver referred to Gaetz as "not qualified,” and believes his nomination is "shocking and disappointing to those who have followed this man and the lurid scandals and serious allegations of sex parties and drugs during his tenure in the U.S. Congress.” Could entire departments be eliminated under Trump? That's what Vivek Ramaswamy, the appointee for leading the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency told Fox Business Channel on Sunday. Listen. RAMASWAMY: “We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright. We expect mass reductions in force in areas of the federal government that are bloated. We expect massive cuts among federal contractors and others who are overbilling the federal government. So yes, we expect all of the above. And I think people will be surprised by, I think, how quickly we're able to move with some of those changes, given the legal backdrop the Supreme Court has given us.” 72% of Americans oppose gender change for children A recent Rasmussen poll found that 72% of Americans oppose transgender change attempts for children. That's up 10% since August. Also, 73% of voters want parents notified should children be looking to change their name or gender.
