This week our guest is artist and devotee Robert Ryan (who also known by his Sanskrit name Shivanesh) Robert is a renown tattoo artist at ‘Electric Tattoo' in Asbury Park New Jersey with over 25 years of experience. He's also an incredibly prolific Bhakti painter with a distinct style that finds its roots in American traditional tattoo art, that is uniquely blended with the Indian street painting style of Calcutta India known as Kalighat Painting. Robert is a highly disciplined spiritual practitioner, kirtan musician, and devoted disciple of his Guru. In this episode I'm absolutely thrilled for this opportunity to talk with Robert about his latest artistic manifestation the ‘Tantra Esoterica' Tarot Deck and Guidebook. Together we explore the universal nature of the Tarot, along with its deep symbolism and how to utilize this ancient technology to help guide and inspire us on our own quest for greatness, no matter where we are in our journey. We also talk about the creative muse that fully captivated Robert during this project and what it took to channel the 78 hand painted images for the deck and to publish a full guidebook with in-depth insights for each card within just a single year while also tattooing clients regularly. Our guest today is renown visionary artist Chris Dyer. We share perspectives around ChatGPT and Ai generated art, and how these new tools are affecting our lives as professional artists. Chris has also been a relentless world traveler over the years, painting murals and hosting workshops around the world.
