Chloe is a Canadian trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and NJ licensed bodywork therapist. She studied BioMedical Sciences, graduated with an honors Bachelor of Science, and went on to receive a Master's in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. While residing in the United States and wanting to continue her work in the healing profession, Chloe also completed a Massage and Bodywork Therapy program. With her background in Osteopathy, Chloe's treatments are governed by the principles that structure and function are interrelated, and that our bodies have the innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate when in proper alignment. In every treatment, Chloe utilizes her range of manual therapy techniques to thoroughly assess the anatomy of the body and treat the areas of greatest restriction and impact; the root cause of dysfunction. Reestablishing proper biomechanics not only improves our ability to move, but liberates the pathways of nerves, arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels, promoting proper circulation and functioning of the body as a whole. She works with professional NHL players, preventing overuse injuries while ensuring patterns acquired for optimal sport performance are maintained. She has also worked with competitive dancers and figure skaters, where small postural adjustments needed to balance both strength and flexibility are made. Chloe applies this same goal-oriented approach to clients with various repetitive activities and work demands. Tune in as we chat with Kelly Kennedy, also known as the Lymph Queen. She will blow your mind!Kelly Kennedy is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in biology. Her interest in medicine began as a teenager while she witnessed her father undergo conventional treatments for cancer including lymphoma for many years before his early passing. Realizing that good health is more than taking medications and undergoing surgeries, Kelly sought out alternative treatment for her food and environmental allergies that she had suffered with since childhood. Finding relief with herbal and energetic treatments, Kelly began to pursue her own education in classical alternative therapies culminating with a two year intensive in European Biological Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Rau who was then the medical director at the prestigious Paracelsus clinic in Switzerland.She completed her training in 2008 and began guiding people into health and wellness as a full time practitioner at The True Wellness Center of PA. Most recently, she received her massage license in 2019 and certification in Cranial Fascia Technique in 2020. Kelly not only continues to work with clients on a one-on-one basis she also founded The Beats, From Our Heart to Yours. The Beats is her educational podcast and informational portal for the latest in alternative, traditional and Bioregulatory medicine. Her interview skills are engaging and entertaining. Most recently Kelly has been instrumental in exposing people to FLOWpresso. FLOWpresso is a device out of New Zealand that focuses on entraining bodies and minds to the parasympathetic node and moving the lymphatics. She is also the sole distributor of Sound of Soul. S.O.S. Tune in as we chat with Lauren Less about all things cooking allergy free!Lauren lived most of her life eating anything my heart desired until she was suddenly diagnosed with several food allergies around age 25. She currently manages wheat, dairy, egg, sesame, maple, soy, buckwheat and peanut allergies. As you can imagine, she had to drastically change my diet. She refused to allow my food allergies to get in the way of living a fulfilling life and enjoying delicious food! Dr. Laurie Mintz is a professor, author, speaker, and therapist. As a tenured Professor at the University of Florida, she teaches the Psychology of Human Sexuality to hundreds of undergraduate students each year. She has published over 50 research articles and six chapters in academic books. She is the author of two popular press books-both written with the aim of empowering women sexually and both with published studies demonstrating their effectiveness: Becoming Cliterate: Why Orgasm Equality Matters and How to Get It (HarperOne, 2017) and A Tired Woman's Guide to Passionate Sex: Reclaim Your Desire and Reignite Your Relationship (Adams Media, 2009). With this same goal of providing scientifically-accurate, sex-positive information to enhance female pleasure, Dr. Mintz gives presentations and workshops to professionals and lay audiences, including a recent TEDx talk. For over 30 years, Dr. Mintz has also maintained a private practice, working with both individuals and couples on general and sexual issues. Dr. Mintz has received numerous professional and teaching awards.
