MIRA Golf is a market research firm that helps golf clubs improve member satisfaction by collecting and analyzing broad, unbiased feedback. Their goal is to equip General Managers with deeper insights beyond the opinions of only the most vocal members, ultimately supporting better club performance and member experiences. On this episode of The Wednesday Match Play Podcast brought to you by Eden Mill St Andrews, Brett shares what inspired the creation of MIRA Golf, talks about the loudest voices at your club, highlights some trends he's seen emerge from their research, and introduces us to the team. He also discusses staying warm during those long winter months in Canada, explains his connection to Jon Roy, and we dive into a conversation about net promoter scores. This was an analytics-driven discussion and it was an honor having Brett on the show. Let's tee off.

Tune in as Brett Salter (Irish Salt) jumps back into his guest chair for a breakdown of Reminiscence, the 2021 tech noir movie that feels strongly evocative of predecessors like Strange Days, Inception, and Chinatown while presenting the ways in which humanity has sunk back into old memories as an escape from the flooding and the climate change that's plaguing its near-future dystopia. The humid and melancholy atmosphere that drips off of this film, debunking a myth about the Titanic, and Hugh Jackman knowing just how to sink his teeth into characters with intense and obsessive souls stand out as a few of the topics that the hosts cover on this episode. Written and directed by Lisa Joy, Reminiscence stars Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, Thandiwe Newton, Cliff Curtis, Daniel Wu, Marina de Tavira, Brett Cullen, Mojean Aria, Natalie Martinez, Angela Sarafyan, Javier Molina, Sam Medina, and Nico Parker. Rebinging Star Trek DS9: Meridian Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 3 Episode 8 of Deep Space Nine: Meridian. In this episode, Dax falls for some guy (played by Brett Cullen) really quickly and decides to dump her entire life for him. And something gross happens with Kira that involves Star Trek fan favorite Jeffrey Combs. I don't wanna talk about it. Meridian While exploring a quiet system in the Gamma Quadrant, the Defiant and crew see an entire planet phase into existence in front of them. Turns out this planet and its inhabitants do this on a schedule. Good news, the inhabitants are very friendly and invite everyone down for dinner. Bad news, the phasing is deteriorating and at some point in the future they will all cease to exist! Good news, Dax has a boyfriend. Bad news, in a few days he's going to phase away for 60 years. Uh oh... And then there's this Kira story...and...nope, I still don't want to talk about it. What's this rebinge thing?
