New College just lost one of its last top administrators with deep experience of running a campus. Florence Fahringer brings us this story. Next: It just became too costly: Neighbors of a Pat Neal project in Venice decided not to appeal a judge's ruling, as Ramon Lopez learned. Then: Cathy Jordan was the mother of marijuana legalization in Florida. She passed away on July 4, and she will get a big send-off in Sarasota. Next: WSLR's Tyler Oldano was at an unusual summer camp - one that helps teenagers to get organized. Finally: Millions of undocumented immigrants are risking their and their families' existence every time they get behind a wheel. Ruth Beltrán tells us the story of a mother of three in Manatee County.

Do we really need to say “my love is like a red, red rose,” or can’t we use a modern metaphor and call her really hot?
