You are the love story you've been waiting for. So how do you start showing up for yourself the way you deserve? Valentine's Day brings a lot of talk about romance, but what about the relationship you have with yourself? Corinne Morahan shares why self-love isn't a cliché; it's the foundation for everything else. She opens up about her own journey, from embracing Valentine's Day to keeping the spark alive in her marriage, but the real shift happened when she realized something unexpected: the most important love story she'll ever have is the one with herself. Turning 40 brought her a new level of confidence, not because time magically delivers it, but because she chose to stop waiting, start accepting, and take action. She challenges listeners to ask a hard but necessary question: If something in your life isn't working, are you willing to change it or are you ready to let it go? She also breaks down the mental load so many women carry and makes a strong case for asking for what you need, instead of hoping someone will figure it out. This episode is both a reality check and an invitation to start treating yourself better, set higher standards, and create the love story you actually want to live. Quotes “What I discovered turning 40 is that I became my own best love story. And that is what I want for you.” (03:33 | Corinne Morahan) “Accept the things about yourself that you won't change because there is no point in having something about yourself or your life that you don't like and beating yourself up about it, and having that negative inner monologue and then not doing anything about it. You have the choice. You can do something about it or you can not do something about it. But if you're not gonna do anything about it, then accept it and stop complaining about it and stop making it a negative thing.” (05:09 | Corinne Morahan) “Asking for what you want and need is a very mature way to communicate, and it doesn't make it any less special.” (08:33 | Corinne Morahan) “The better I treat myself, the better I take care of myself, the higher standards I have for how everyone around me is going to be treated.” (11:02 | Corinne Morahan) “Think about this: How can you become your greatest love story? How can you fall in love with yourself? How can you treat yourself more kindly? How can you think better thoughts? How can you take better care of yourself? It really does start with you. You're the one. Go do it.” (11:11 | Corinne Morahan) Links Here's Episode 14 - Dating your Spouse - for your enjoyment! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/get-organized-for-good-with-corinne-morahan-maximize/id1732115335?i=1000655509919 Connect With Corinne: https://www.gridandglam.com/ https://www.corinnemorahan.com/ https://www.instagram.com/gridandglam/ https://www.instagram.com/corinnemorahan/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/corinnemorahan/ https://www.facebook.com/gridandglam https://www.youtube.com/@gridandglam1 Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

For more information about the wild boar season and other hunting opportunities in West Virginia, hunters should consult the 2024–2025 West Virginia Hunting and Trapping Regulations Summary, available to download at WVdnr.gov/hunting-regulations. A capstone on a giant wall, it soars more than 120 feet above the spine of Black Oak Mountain in Pinnacle Rock State Park. But there's far more to the rocky tower than meets the eye. While tourists may be accustomed to exploring the rock near the park's roadside picnic area, other similar outcrops are located elsewhere in the park, including “Black Rock,” an equally large section that rises higher than Pinnacle Rock itself. According to geologist Nick Schaer, the remarkable formation is created by “folding,” which is the catalyst for the creation of many of the long ridges that extend the length of the Appalachian Mountains. Pinnacle Rock State Park encompasses more than 370 acres, including the mountaintop and its rock outcrops as well as mountainside forest and Jimmy Lewis Lake, a five-acre fishing lake and wetland. More than six miles of hiking trails wind through the park, and a system of stairs leads to an observation area at the top. Wondering how to celebrate Valentine's Day at Walt Disney World? We share the top six ways to celebrate Valentine's Day in style, plus a look at new Disney Parks wedding options and the new Disney Weddings gowns for 2024.New Disney Wedding Style Options Disney Weddings has added EPCOT with Spaceship Earth as a backdrop to its list of locations for in-park weddings at Walt Disney World. Disney noted that the offering includes enhanced unique lighting displays on Spaceship Earth, choreographed to music and changing color patterns. EPCOT is now available to book for Disney weddings taking place in January 2025 and beyond. In case you were wondering, Disney in-park weddings offer a lot of potential setups. Pricing will rise into the hundreds of thousands, starting with a standard $40,000 ceremony fee and going up from there. You must use Disney transportation and so on. Weddings take place two to three hours after park closing. Ever wondered why Magic Kingdom was closing early one day for no apparent reason? Weddings can involved extravagent seating and couches along Main Street. The reception in from of the castle with tables elegantly designed. An underlit dance floor in front of the castle. Arrive by a trip down Main Street in Cinderella's Carriage and so on. Disney Wedding Gowns 2024 And if you're mortgaging the house for a Disney Wedding, then you have to have a Disney Princess inspired gown from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection, right? The 2024 line of Disney bridal gowns was just released and the gowns are, not surprisingly, stunning (and so is the photography being posted on social media by Disney). Sizes are available from 0 to 30 and gowns start at $1,799. Follow Disney Weddings on Instagram or Facebook if you want to see what all the buzz is about. -- Top Six Ways to Celebrate Valentine's Day in Style at Walt Disney World How to Surprise Your Special Someone with a Magical Valentine's at Disney WorldSpa Treatment for TwoIf you are a couple who loves spas (or even if your significant other loves them and you want to make it special), the Grand Floridian Spa at Walt Disney World is a great spa where you can relax and unwind together. To book a treatment you can call a Spa Co-ordinator at (407) 824-3039 for more information on their couples options and other spa services. Hot Air Balloon RideIf you find it romantic to think of experiencing the "World" from high in the sky, head over to Disney Springs where you can board the Aerophile hot air balloon. This is a fun hot air balloon ride that floats 400 feet above the ground, offering great views of Walt Disney World (and beyond) day and night. You likely won't have the balloon to yourself on this one (it holds 30 people in total), but if you time it right you can catch a flight at sunset or during the fireworks displays for a little extra burst of romance and Disney magic. Cost is currently $30.00 per person (DVC and AP discounts may be available).Disney Springs Shopping SpreeIf your Valentine loves to shop, then why not surprise them with a Disney shopping spree at Disney Springs?! Gift your Valentine a gift card (or cash--which might be better for non-Disney shops) and accompany them on a shopping spree tour of Disney Springs! This is a particularly great gift if you don't normally like to spend time shopping, making it extra thoughtful and something your Valentine will truly appreciate it. Plus you have the option of making a day of it with a hot air balloon ride, treats and a romantic dinner!Romantic Carriage RideIs there anything more romantic than a horse-drawn carriage ride? Horse-drawn carriage rides are offered through the wilderness trails of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and also at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. There aren't many things more romantic than snuggling up with your special someone in an old fashioned horse-drawn carriage through relaxing natural surroundings. The rides are approximately 25 minutes long and leave from Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness and Boatwright's Dining Hall at Port Orleans. Call Disney Reservations for more information: 407-939-7529.Romantic Dinner for TwoNo romantic Disney vacation together would be complete without at least one extra special dinner for two. While Disney World is known for its fun themed dining and character experiences, it is also home to some first-rate award-winning restaurants, many of which are ideal for a romantic dinner for two. You can choose from very formal experiences such as Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, to more relaxed--yet very elegant--surroundings such as Citrico's right next door or Narcoossee's, nearby. Other great choices include Via Napoli, Takumi-Tei and Monsieur Paul at EPCOT or The Boathouse at Disney Springs. Pick your personal favorite, or even better, make a surprise choice if you know a particular restaurant they love or want to try. Whatever your tastes, there is a great romantic spot for you somewhere around Walt Disney World. Speaker 1 00:00:55 Well, and not just sex toy industry, but Valentine's altogether. You should see some of the, oh yeah, the pitches. I'm getting like the reaches to make some random product about Valentine's Day. So it's, it's a commercialized holiday. Commercialized holiday. But we are gonna talk about it because we don't celebrate Valentine's. And you may celebrate Valentine's, but I hope you'll hear our perspective. So many holidays are commercialized and so much of what we do is, so I'm not gonna sit here in criticism of that, but we are gonna talk about the fact that we don't celebrate Valentine's. But because it's February 9th, if you're listening today, you have a few more days to go check out the lunatic fem contest. This is to me, just my favorite contest.
