What would the ultimate Walt Disney World resort look like if we could mix and match the best features from every Disney resort? In this episode, we're taking on the ultimate Disney Resort Draft Challenge to find out. Using a snake draft format, we each build our dream resort by selecting from categories including location, overall theme, lobby, standard room, pool, quick service restaurant, table service restaurant, lounge, transportation, and recreation. But there are plenty of twists along the way. We each receive a one-time Steal Card that can completely change the outcome of the draft, while a randomly assigned Forced Pick means every resort—even Value and Moderate resorts—has a chance to shine. To keep things balanced, we're also required to include at least one Value Resort selection and one Moderate Resort selection in our final resort. Throughout the draft, we explain the reasoning behind every pick, debate what makes each resort element special, and do our best to convince each other—and you—that our choices create the ultimate Disney vacation destination. Whether you're dreaming about your next stay, planning a future trip, or simply love talking Disney resorts, this episode is packed with strategy, friendly competition, Disney debates, and plenty of opportunities to play along and decide whose resort you'd book first.

We're checking into a brand-new game of Disney Truth or Dare: Resort Edition—where the hot takes are strong, the choices are painful, and absolutely no Walt Disney World hotel is safe. After tackling the parks, it was time to turn our attention to the resorts—and things got surprisingly intense. From impossible monorail resort eliminations and brutally honest opinions about overrated hotels, to debates over the best lobby smell, transportation system, pool, and nighttime atmosphere, we put each other on the spot with random Truth or Dare questions pulled straight from the hats. The rules are simple: pick Truth or Dare, draw a random prompt, and answer honestly. No skipping, no changing your answer halfway through, and no hiding behind “well, it depends.” That means some strong opinions were shared… and some may upset even the most loyal Disney resort fans. Over the course of the episode, we each answered 10 randomly selected questions, and along the way, there were plenty of laughs, a few moments of genuine shock, and at least a couple answers that immediately sparked debate. Whether you're loyal to the monorail loop, obsessed with Crescent Lake, love the Skyliner resorts, or proudly defend Port Orleans French Quarter with your whole heart, this episode is packed with fun Disney resort discussions that every Walt Disney World fan can jump into. So grab your favorite lobby scent, settle into your favorite resort chair, and play along with us as Disney Truth or Dare heads to the hotels!

We're continuing our March Magic 2026 series as we shift from rides to resorts and build the ultimate Walt Disney World Resort Bracket. We've ranked and seeded 24 resorts from across property — including Deluxe, Moderate, Value, and even Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve — to determine which one truly deserves the crown. Using a mix of guest ratings, along with our own experiences, we evaluate each resort based on theming, amenities, dining options, location, transportation, and overall guest satisfaction. From iconic favorites like Polynesian Village Resort, Wilderness Lodge, and Beach Club, to fan-favorite values like Pop Century and Art of Animation, every resort earns its place in the tournament. We break down the full 1–24 seeding, highlight which resorts earned a first-round bye, and set up some very interesting opening matchups — including value vs deluxe battles, sleeper picks, and a few potential upsets that could shake up the bracket early. Along the way, we debate controversial rankings, question whether location outweighs theming, and discuss which resorts we think have the best chance to make a deep run. Which Walt Disney World resort is truly the best? Which ones are overrated, underrated, or primed for an upset? Let the madness continue! Download the bracket

Spending New Year's Eve inside a Disney World theme park sounds like the ultimate “most magical place on Earth” flex - until you remember you're doing it shoulder-to-shoulder with what feels like the population of a small nation. This week in the Court of the Disney World Resort, Len Testa argues the case for the marathon day, the once-a-year entertainment, and that surreal moment when Adventureland is blasting pop music. Chris Cox counters with big-city New Year's trauma, crowd math, and the simple question of whether there's a way to enjoy the fireworks without living inside a human corral for four hours. What does Judge Jim Hill have to say? HIGHLIGHTS • The reality of Disney World on New Year's Eve - a 18-20 hour endurance event with lines for rides, food, bathrooms, and basically oxygen • Why rope-dropping on December 31 can feel weirdly peaceful - and why nobody leaves once the park hits peak capacity • The perks that actually are special: party props, unique entertainment, and a midnight fireworks show with countdown-style pyro (plus perimeter fireworks) • The “cheat code” option - watching the full dress rehearsal fireworks on December 30 from Bay Lake Tower (or another Magic Kingdom-area resort) HOSTS • Jim Hill - IG: @JimHillMedia | X: @JimHillMedia | Website: JimHillMedia.com • Len Testa - IG: @len.testa | Website: TouringPlans.com • Chris Cox - IG: @magiccox | X: @bigcox | Website: MagicCox.com FOLLOW • Facebook: JimHillMediaNews • Instagram: JimHillMedia • TikTok: JimHillMedia SUPPORT Support the show and access bonus episodes and additional content at Patreon.com/JimHillMedia. Snack credits are either the best little “vacation cheat code” Disney ever slipped into the Dining Plan - or a spreadsheet-powered trap that turns your family trip into a competitive sport. This week in the Court of the Disney World Resort, Len Testa and Chris Cox argue whether snack credits are a smart way to stretch your Walt Disney World dollars, or just a confusing system that rewards the deeply committed and mildly deranged. Along the way, there is Starbucks math, Epcot festival strategy, and at least one Easy-Bake oven-related conflict of interest. HIGHLIGHTS • Why snack credits can be a secret weapon at EPCOT festivals - especially when you know which items creep up toward that $10 “sweet spot.” • The maddening part of the Dining Plan - there is no consistent rule for what counts as a snack, so you're stuck hunting for the logo like it's a scavenger hunt. • The “snack credit endgame” - realizing on your last day you have a pile of credits left, and suddenly you're importing Rice Krispies treats through customs. • Using snack credits for “breakfast” (because apparently cheesecake counts as dairy and eggs) and other vacation logic that only makes sense inside the Disney bubble. • The philosophical divide - gaming the system for maximum value vs. enjoying the feeling that “past you paid for this,” so present you can just say yes and keep moving. We'll share cozy ways to wind down, like roasting marshmallows at Fort Wilderness or catching a movie poolside, and fun experiences that get the whole family moving — think poolside trivia, live music, and surrey bike rides along the Sassagoula River. We'll also talk about some of Disney's most memorable paid experiences, including horse-drawn carriage rides through the pines, pontoon boat rentals on Bay Lake, fishing excursions, and creative workshops at resorts like the Riviera and Coronado Springs. Whether we're traveling as a couple, a family, or with friends, there's something magical waiting beyond the parks — from Yeeha Bob's legendary show at Port Orleans Riverside to peaceful jogging trails around Crescent Lake.So grab your refillable mug, pull up a hammock, and join us as we explore all the fun that doesn't require a park ticket — because sometimes, the best Disney memories happen right at your resort.

Ditch the overwhelm and let's set the tone for a magical vacation. Kevin Payne from ‘Family Money Adventure' and I share our top picks. In this episode we're going to sit down and try to rank the Top 10 best Disney World themed resorts. We all love our Disney resorts and staying on Disney property, and part of the reason why is these themed resorts. I'll do my best to rank them in order
We're heading down the bayou for a sibling showdown as Port Orleans Riverside takes on Port Orleans French Quarter in the latest round of Resort Wars. These two charming Moderates may share a name and a boat to Disney Springs, but when it comes to theming, food, amenities, and overall vibe—they couldn't be more different. We walk through seven battle rounds, comparing everything from room layouts and transportation to pool fun, recreation options, and value for your hard-earned vacation dollar. French Quarter brings that cozy, jazz-filled energy with colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and of course—those famous Mickey-shaped beignets. Riverside answers back with lush walking paths, Royal Guest Rooms, and the fan-favorite Yeeha Bob at River Roost Lounge. Along the way, we'll share our own experiences at both resorts, a few personal preferences, and what we think makes each one special. We also reveal the results from your votes in our Facebook poll—because this battle isn't just about us…it's about the whole Main Street Magic community. So grab your floatworks beignet or your fishing rod from Ol' Man Island, and let's settle this once and for all.

Today Mike, Pam and Rikki dedicate our show to the BOGP Lizards who are kicking off the runDisney season at the Wine & Dine Half-Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World today! Have fun and enjoy every mile! Today's show was inspired by Lizard Jodi and her crew who are attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween Night and pulling an "all-nighter" and going directly to the 5K race after!
