I don't have to tell you that the world we're living in is pretty crazy and chaotic. There's a lot of confusion, division, projection, anger, and fear out there. So, what do we do with that collective consciousness of fear, separation, and illusion that's so prevalent in the world today? What do we do with that, as lightworkers, as healers, as people who have a strong mission to be of service or to DO something to raise the level of consciousness on this planet? I know for many of us there's a deep sense of purpose and taking action, in one way or another, to change things, to dismantle the old paradigms, to contribute to the evolution, liberation, and enlightenment of humanity. This isn't an easy or quick task. As lightworkers, we hold sacred responsibilities to awaken the light in ourselves and others (and SEE the light in ourselves and others) during crazy times of upheaval and social or political unrest -- when we see so many egoic agendas running the show on many levels of society, government, corporations, and so on. This episode is primarily about: HOW do we continue holding the light, not losing faith, and putting forth a strong momentum and energy to uplift ourselves, on a daily basis, and also to uplift others? In this discussion, you'll find some ideas for how we can do this. Jamie Berger is a seasoned Financial Advisor with nearly two decades of experience, specializing in providing tailored financial solutions to clients. Originally from New York, Jamie relocated to Marco Island with her family in 1997, where she has since become an integral part of the Southwest Florida community. Jamie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University. Building on her academic foundation, Jamie pursued further studies and obtained her MBA with an emphasis in General Management from the same institution. Passionate about giving back, Jamie is highly active in the local community. She has served as the past secretary of the Neapolitan Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) and was honored as Woman of the Year in 2014 for her outstanding contributions. Jamie's dedication to leadership development is evident through her completion of the 12-week Leadership Marco program in 2009 and the eight-week Growing Associates in Naples (GAIN) program in 2015. Jamie and I talked about a few financial topics. Things like: Financial literacy with the youth and how schools need to teach it. Don't sell fear; buy it! Where to invest your money. Turn off the market noise. Always listen to an advisor. What to look for when hiring a financial advisor. You can be the fly on the wall with this conversation and I hope you are able to take one thing away from it. The main thing is, be prepared, run scenarious through your head, so when or if they do happen, you already have a predetermined response. WBS: We're in Crazy Times #269 The gang is at it again. Brimstone is joined by his wing-man Alex DaPonte, and his wife Danielle as they chat about the cyberbullying lawsuit by boxer Imane Khelif against JK Rowling and Elon Musk, separating the art from the artist, Jordan Chiles being stripped of her medal unfairly and why there will no longer be breakdancing in the Olympics moving forward. They discuss Snoop living his best life at the Olympics, and how he quite possibly tossed some ‘icky sticky' into the torch that resembled a blunt. They briefly discuss Lou Pearlman and the recent documentary, bad apology videos, proper pronunciation of names and words, and how everyone should check out the new BrimBLOG, ‘The Ultimate Guide to Salem' on Brim's website. They also chat a bit about Hot to Go. Brim explains what gets Within Brim's Skin.
