Behind the white sphere, spreading from upper left to lower right is a wispy, netlike formation. Behind the formation is a giant glowing red sphere, set slightly to the left. SCP-037 appears to be a star approximately 5 cm (2 in) in diameter, with a luminosity of about 1*10-12 times that of our sun and a surface temperature of about 5000 K (determined by UBVRI analysis). The origin of SCP-037 is unknown, however, analysis suggests that it shares many properties in common with a typical main sequence star, other than its anomalously small size. It is theorized to have entered the Earth's magnetosphere via the North Magnetic Pole. Subscribe for more SCP Foundation Files. Papyrates by Deborah L. Davitt. Narrated by J.S. Arquin. Featuring an afterword recorded by Deborah L. Davitt. #fantasy #fiction #pirates #paper #podcast She stood on the jetty, watching the ship unfurl itself with geometric precision, unfolding from its flattened state into sweeping white arcs of bow and stern. Her crew carried the long white rolls of the masts aboard and then lifted them into place with a call and response that drifted on the wind like a chanson. As Papyra strode aboard, she called, “Ready the sails!” and her crew unfolded the last sheaves, tying them in place to catch the first breaths of wind. It was time to hunt. Deborah L. Davitt was raised in Nevada, but currently lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and son. She's worked as a technical writer on contracts involving nuclear submarines, NASA, and computer manufacturing. [Warning] This episode contains explicit language and explicit themes. Listener discretion is advised. Blasting off into space, Allen thunders into his favorite sci-fi niche of archaeological science fiction. Written in the early 90's, this class shares many of the contemporary symbolism of the sci-fi genre, and Danny and Allen compare it to a few movies while Allen explores the deep, scientific plot. They also address the fall backs of a 'hard-science' book, but alternatively they also praise the novel for it's general application. Where do we come from? What's really out there? Can we be more than we are? And, of course, tons of hidden questions and answers. This is sci-fi at its best from the pen of a master and Allen's true enthusiasm comes out in lightning! Drawing on the author’s deep knowledge of classical literature, Deborah L. Davitt’s book of poetry The Gates of Never (Finishing Line Press, 2018) explores the intersections of myth, science, and humanity through her beautifully accessible poems, reflecting a variety of forms and linguistic styles. These poems morph between being moving, irreverent, unsettling, and erotic — offering up a richly textured collection of work. “He writes me upside down and backwards, so that I hardly know myself yet, but my hundred newly-open mouths whisper secret meanings, and offer atramentum kisses; he soothes my wounds with copper vitriol, making the words holy and incorruptible, incapable of fading into sepia; yet as he kisses me, our tongues meeting, the words spark white-fire under my skin, the runes writhing into new configurations” – from “Testament” Deborah L. UFO PROOF? Alien societies can be found with THIS easy method, claims Harvard professor Article Link: https://www.express.co.uk/news/science/1093261/Nasa-UFO-video-how-to-spot-aliens-society-Harvard ADVANCED alien civilisations might not be very difficult to spot, according to a top Harvard professor, who provides advice on the key things to look out for. The head of astronomy at the world-renowned university, Avi Loeb, told Express.co.uk one simple way to discover sophisticated otherworldly infrastructure. He started by explaining that the most common type of star by far is a relatively small Dwarf Star. He continued: “The planets in the habitable zone around the most common stars are tidally locked. “That means they always show the same face to the stars. “They have a permanent day side and a permanent night side. And you might think that if there is a civilisation out there they would try to transfer heat and light from the day side to the night side. “And one can tell if that happens because the faces of the planet as it goes around the star would look different. “If the dark side is illuminated artificially we would not see the same light curve. “And the same is true about the heat distribution across the surface of the planet. I think we should be open-minded. We should look for industrial pollution on the atmospheres of other planets and relics from dead civilisations out there. “I call it space archaeology: basically digging into space and searching for traces of other civilisations that may not exist anymore.” Show Stuff TeePublic Store - Get your UBR goodies today! http://tee.pub/lic/2GQuXxn79dg UBR Trurh Seekers Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/216706068856746 Manny Moonraker: https://www.facebook.com/MannyMoonraker/ UFO Buster Radio: https://www.facebook.com/UFOBusterRadio YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCggl8-aPBDo7wXJQ43TiluA Google Plus Manny's Updated Google+ Profile: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+MannyMoonraker To contact Manny: manny@ufobusterradio.com, or on Twitter @ufobusterradio Call the show anytime at (972) 290-1329 and leave us a message with your point of view, UFO sighting, and ghostly experiences or join the discussion on www.ufobusterradio.com For Skype Users: bosscrawler

When most Americans think of late civil rights icon Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we often picture a unifying Christian minister who used non-violence to advance his dream of racial equality in the United States. King would have been 90 years old this year, had he not been assassinated. We observe his birthday every January, and often hear his name invoked, as well as that of other civil rights leaders, in February during Black History Month. But in death, has Dr. King been whitewashed? In the first installment of a two-part series, Jaye discusses some widely-held beliefs regarding Dr. King and the world in which he lived. She provides context for Dr. King's life, and sets the record straight on a respected, but misunderstood historical figure. A white dwarf, also called a degenerate dwarf, is a stellar remnant composed mostly of electron-degenerate matter. A white dwarf is very dense: its mass is comparable to that of the Sun, and its volume is comparable to that of Earth. A white dwarf’s faint luminosity comes from the emission of stored thermal energy. The nearest known white dwarf is Sirius B, at 8.6 light years, the smaller component of the Sirius binary star. There are currently thought to be eight white dwarfs among the hundred star systems nearest the Sun.The unusual faintness of white dwarfs was first recognized in 1910. The name white dwarf was coined by Willem Luyten in 1922. White dwarf, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=White_dwarf&oldid=697320294 (last visited Dec. 29, 2015). Sasha Lessin discusses how professional astronomers reveal, despite the government's attempt to cover up, that the subbrown dwarf, Earth's twin star beyond the Kuiper belt, has moved, due to encounters beyond the belt, closer to our sun, warming all the planets of our solar system and will melt all ice on Earth. The warming from the greenhouse effect is minor compared to the affects of the the dark dwarf and the planetoids and comets on the dwarf's orbital path. Comets on the dwarf star's orbit will bombard Earth, evoke huge solar storms, huge earthquakes and titanic volcanic eruptions; it will destroy global communications and reverse our magnetic poles. Janet Lessin describes her abduction by ETs to a submarine base beneath Johnston Atoll in the Pacific and previews next week's discussion, inviting listeners to call in and relate their experiences with extraterrestrials and the implications of these abductions for us Earthlings.
