In this week's episode, I discuss the consequences of President Biden and his administration's foreign policy. During President Trump, America had a great foreign policy reputation that Biden has completely pummeled through. Next, I meet with Susan Shelley to lay out all the details of Proposition 1, a deceptive and dangerous ballot measure that Gavin Newsom and the Democrats are pushing. Proposition 1 will be destructive to the state of California, and a robbery of existing funding to existing programs for mental health issues. Lastly, I am joined by Eric Early who is a candidate for US Senate.

California's 28th congressional district, like most of the nation, is struggling on multiple levels through the COVID-19 challenges. But the challenges in the district go far beyond COVID-19, they are mostly due to lack of congressional representation. For the past three and a half years, the vibrant Southern California district's problems have steadily increased, most of this is due to the fact that Rep. Adam Schiff has spent his entire political capital on trying to remove the President from office. His desire to seek fame and fortune and the national spotlight has placed a heavy burden on residents of the 28th district.  Eric Early has fought in the courts to help people stay in their homes and help job creators, businesses and innovators succeed and stay in California while building his own successful law firm. Eric was a candidate in 2018 for California Attorney General against Xavier Becerra, receiving almost one million votes as a first-time candidate. Eric is focused on bringing back the quality of life for the citizens of the 28th district. He wants to stop the endless regulations and taxes. Protect freelancers, independent contractors and gig workers. Tackle the out-of-control homelessness epidemic. Secure the border and keep California residents safe by putting citizens first, and quickly get to work to address the infrastructure needs of the area. This week we sat down (virtually) to chat with Greg Gandrud, the Treasurer of the California GOP who was elected along with my dad and co host Randy Berholtz in 2019. Back in July of 2016, Greg attended the Republican National Convention in Cleveland as an Alternate Delegate for Donald J. Trump representing the 24th Congressional District and also founded Gandrud Financial Services Corporation. Greg manages tax and business services, wealth management, trust administration, and real estate  investments for clients in fifteen states and five countries. In October of 2018, Greg formed a nonprofit called Fair Education Santa Barbara which has retained attorney Eric Early and has sued the Santa Barbara Unified School District and Just Communities Central Coast for spending dollars on what he calls "anti-American curriculum that is racist against white people and teaches students that white male Christian capitalists are oppressors".We dive into if he believes white privilege actually exists and also why he does not believe that police brutality against POC is a real thing and how it comes down to simply knowing how to interact with the police. Harriet shares a much different view and you'll see us talk about this and discuss our opposing beliefs in a real and respectful way.Greg is also an openly gay Republican Man who is a dues paying member of the Log Cabin Republicans, an organization that works within the Republican Party to advocate for equal rights for lesbian and gay Americans. We discuss how the GOP and self declared party of family values has accepted Greg while his Democratic gay friends have un invited him from parties and shunned him since "Trump Derangement Syndrome" took over after the election in 2016. Harriet talks about the many ways in which homophobia is still very present in the Republican party and Randy asks the question "is it harder to be a gay man or a Republican in America". While these topics were ones that as Democrat, Harriet vehemently disagreed with, it was a successful episode because all parties were able to have a really respectful conversation and hear each other out which is the whole point of this podcast. There was no name calling, no shutting each other down, and it was a really refreshing conversation. She is bought and paid for by the special interest groups and this does damage to Californians. California needs change in Sacramento, people have got to start voting these individuals out. If an politician in California has a "D" by their name, and they are not working for Californians, vote them out of office. It is time for changeand it has to happen starting in November. If you live in Sacramento, vote Pelosi out of office and put in John Dennis (www.realjohndennis.com), if you are in Adam Shiffs district, vote him out and put in Eric Early. If you start chipping away at the top and work down, then the message will be heard loud and clear. But it has to start this 2020 elections. Let's make a change, it has to happen before the whole state is destroyed. Text me at 818.252.5682 www.lodge-co.com

About Eric Early: For 25 years, Eric has fought in the courts to help people stay in their homes and help job creators, businesses and innovators succeed and stay in California while building his own successful law firm. Eric was a candidate in 2018 for California Attorney General against Xavier Becerra, receiving almost one million votes as a first-time candidate. Eric's career as an attorney did not follow the usual path. He attended New York University’s undergraduate film school, and then held various positions, including producing videos for Hasbro Toys, directing short children’s films for The Great Space Coaster, working as post-production supervisor on hundreds of animated episodes of The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Jem and the Holograms, My Little Pony, and writing several animated episodes of G.I. Joe and Jem and the Holograms. At one point, he produced trailers for “King of the B-Movies”, Roger Corman. While working full time to support his family, Eric attended Southwestern Law School’s evening program and after graduation worked at one of the most prominent law firms in the state, where he was a Partner for a decade. Eric was regularly involved in complex litigation matters in California and throughout the country, primarily focusing on business, entertainment, real estate, title and escrow related litigation. In 2010, Eric started his own firm along with several of his colleagues, Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae LLP (“Early Sullivan”). Early Sullivan, which now has over 30 attorneys, has been recognized as Boutique Firm of the Year by the California Daily Journal, and has been named as a Best Law Firm by U.S. News for several years running. Eric has been the firm’s Managing Partner since its doors opened, has successfully tried several cases to verdict – one of the results being awarded Defense Verdict of the Year by the Daily Journal, and has overseen countless complex lawsuits in which the firm’s clients have prevailed. During the normal course of his practice, Eric has also handled several cases in which he has represented homeowners whose properties have been victimized by real estate fraud, in which fraudsters try to steal their homes. He has been able to regain control of the properties for his clients. Early Sullivan practices in all the courts of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Florida and handles cases in other states as well. Among various honors, Eric is the Past President of Southwestern Law School’s Entertainment and IP Alumni Association, was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2017; and has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer every year since 2005.
