We open with the April jobs numbers and they turn out to be much better than expected. On top of that, we hear holiday orders are starting to be made and China may be starting to crack already. Polling on CNN still shows Trump in a commanding lead over Democrats across issues affecting the country. Thanks to the information gathered by Laura Loomer about the husband of the judge who thinks CBP needs to get warrants before arresting an illegal, he has deleted his social media posts. Along the same topic, the wife of Kilgare Abrego Garcia has audio where she is telling a judge about the many instances of being hurt and attacked by her husband. DNI Tulsi Gabbard shares a story of how leaks are designed to give the Left narratives to run that are the opposite of the truth. We also learn that the Maduro regime in Venezuela is supporting the TdA infiltration into the United States. A Harvard internal investigation into anti-Semitism isn't good, but that did not stop them from awarding a $65K Fellowship to a student charged in an assault of an Israeli classmate. These ivy league institutions may be beyond saving. We get treated to another DOGE interview, this time with Jesse Waters. It is always great to see the team doing the hard work and hearing them recount their stories and efforts. We really need them to prevail. As we begin to close, we hear from a crybully who was let go from the Justice Department. Former White House Press Secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki is truly deranged. Frank Luntz still cannot believe Trump supporters are sticking by him. And, finally, it seems Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) has House Democrats furious with his impeachment stunt. Three months into President Trump's second term, pollster Frank Luntz explains voter sentiment. While conservative and liberal Americans remain steadfast, Luntz says the political center has been disappointed with the execution of the promises it voted for. After a brief but heated spat between the White House and Amazon, President Trump has called Jeff Bezos a “good guy.” Wired Editor-at-Large Steven Levy explains Amazon's idea–and then rejection–of marking the cost of tariffs on its low-cost site Amazon Haul. Levy discusses big tech's complicated relationship with the administration. Plus, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says the U.S. has reached its first trade deal, and due to a surge in imports, the U.S. economy contracted during President Trump's first 100 days. CNBC's Steve Liesman discusses the intersection of a global trade war and America's GDP. President Donald Trump sparked nationwide controversy with a barrage of executive orders as soon as he returned to the White House to commence his second term on Jan. 20, 2025. Since then, Republicans in Congress have been largely supportive of Trump's initiatives. However, a series of escalating crises has begun to fracture Republican support of the president both within Congress and among the wider U.S. public. Watch the above 27-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks Trump voters to share their opinions of the president's performance in his first 90 days back in the Oval Office for his second term.

In a typical year, the United States spends between 0.4% to 1.4% of its federal budget on international aid. In 2023, the most recent year for which data is largely complete, that worked out to be around $79 billion, or 1.2%. Much of that aid includes life-saving food and medical supplies, but it also funds clinics, provides for emergency services and helps reduce armed conflicts. Recently, the Trump administration dramatically reduced funding for the chief agencies charged with distributing U.S. foreign aid, and is now formally dismantling the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The administration also cut U.S. funding to the World Food Programme (WFP) in what the United Nations agency called “a death sentence” for millions of humans around the world. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) maintains that these cancellations are justified for “the convenience of the U.S. Government.” Watch the above 28-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks Americans to share their opinions, questions and concerns regarding recent cuts to U.S. foreign aid, how those cuts might impact the projection of American soft power, and what they think the correct path forward should be from here.
After losing the White House and control of the Senate in the 2024 election — while facing record-low approval ratings — the Democratic Party is now debating its future leadership and strategy for handling President Donald Trump's second term. While Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ., recently gained attention with a record-breaking speech, other “rising stars” are vying to lead the Democratic Party. Watch the 22-minute America Speaks video above, where pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz talks with Democrats about the future of the party and the viability of politicians such as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY., and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to “Outkick the Morning's” Charly Arnolt, and cohost of the “PBD Podcast”, Adam Sosnick about NYC Mayor Eric Adams coming clean to “Flagrant's” Andrew Schulz about how the average Democrat has lost their sanity due to combination of Trump derangement syndrome and Elon Musk's handling of the DOGE; how dumb some of the protesters actually are at the Tesla protest targeting Elon Musk; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez refusing to say if there's any connection between Democrats dangerous rhetoric against Elon Musk and the recent attacks on Tesla dealerships and Tesla owners; Ben Shapiro's reactions to Frank Luntz naming Corey Booker the new leader of the Democrat Party after his record breaking senate speech; “The View's” Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin falling for Corey Booker's idiotic publicity stunt; a resurfaced clip of Donald Trump's appearance on Oprah Winfrey where he outlined his idea for reciprocal tariffs in 1988; Jasmine Crockett proudly admitting that her career advanced because of DEI and not her effort or skill; and much more. Last November, Democrats lost the popular vote for the U.S. presidency for the first time in 20 years against a divisive Republican candidate who had nearly been barred from politics for life over his alleged role in the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection. That defeat shocked the Democratic Party and its supporters, and some analysts say that Democrats today remain in a state of traumatized paralysis even as President Trump rapidly pursues a highly controversial partisan agenda. American liberals split even further in recent weeks, after some Senate Democrats backed a heavily Republican budget in order to avert a government shutdown, a move criticized by the more progressive wing of the party. The center-left defends that decision, however, arguing that a shutdown would have made the current American crisis even worse. Watch the above 33-minute video of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks American Democrats to share what they think is wrong with their party, how they can correct course for the future, and how to resist what they say is the dictatorship of Donald Trump.
Tariffs have emerged as a key component of President Trump's economic plan for the United States, with sweeping levies imposed upon Mexican, Canadian and Chinese goods shortly after the president began his second term, and with future tariffs expected on European goods. The returning president has long campaigned on tariffs, and sought to implement them to a lesser extent during his first term, as well. But with American companies and workers at risk, the American stock market tumbling and traditional U.S. allies around the world reacting sharply, some Americans have criticized the president's tariff policies. Watch the above 25-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks Americans to share their opinions on Trump's tariff policies, and whether they think those policies as a whole are good or bad for the future of the United States.
For years, the American public policy debate around billionaires has revolved around questions of wealth inequality, with hardline critics arguing that billionaires should be taxed out of existence to raise living standards for all Americans and center-left leaders like former President Biden instead proposing a milder 25% “billionaire tax.” But that debate is even further divided between party lines. Republicans have argued for lower taxes on the very wealthy and express less concern over economic inequality than Democrats do, while Democrats have argued for additional tax brackets for the wealthiest Americans and have consistently ranked economic inequality as one of their top concerns. Recently, that debate has overlapped with concerns about the actions of one man, Elon Musk. Musk has played a definitive but controversial role in President Trump's new administration after spending at least $277 million to help him defeat Kamala Harris in the U.S. 2024 presidential race, inadvertently recentering the debate on economic inequality and the role of money in U.S. politics around himself. Musk's support of other far-right parties in nations like Germany has also prompted foreign parliaments and heads of state to take action to secure their own political systems against the kind of influence that Musk now exerts in the United States. Watch the above 22-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks a group of Americans to share their perceptions of U.S. billionaires, Elon Musk, tax policy, and the role of billionaires in U.S. politics and economics.
The Democrats are facing an unprecedented crisis, and it's becoming more apparent by the day. From chaotic stunts in Congress to picking fights they can't win, the party is spiraling into irrelevance. We're seeing a historic decline in their popularity, as they double down on issues that have little public support, like their obsession with trans athletes in female sports. Meanwhile, common-sense policies like border security and rooting out waste and fraud are gaining overwhelming support, yet the Democrats continue to politicize them, losing more ground with every misstep. In today's discussion, I'll dive into how this 80-20 doom loop is dooming them, and how their internal chaos is shaping the political landscape.--Get Your Free Gold Report Now At http://turleytalkslikesgold.com*If you wanna take advantage of this ECONOMIC BOOM click on the link https://neoscdg.org/golden-age-summit or scan the QR code and get registered!**The content presented by sponsors may contain affiliate links. They're increasingly seen as lunatic and fringe.”“The reason why Democrats keep picking losing battles is because they're trying to politicize the pre-political. I think that's why both the Democrats and the legacy media are just in this popularity freefall right now. On March 4, 2025, President Donald Trump delivered a 100-minute address to Congress, drawing sharply divided reactions from Democrats and Republicans. He tackled a range of contentious issues, including immigration, economic policy and national defense. Watch the above 37-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks a unique group of American voters — those who supported and opposed the president across two elections — to share their reactions to his address.
As the United States and Canada spar over tariffs, Karina Gould, a candidate for Canadian Prime Minister and former Canadian government House leader, explains Canada's retaliation against the Trump administration's tariffs and the Canadian frustration at the current relationship between neighbors. Then, pollster and political strategist Frank Luntz provides insights into swing voters 6 weeks into President Trump's second term. Luntz discusses the public's opinion on Elon Musk's influence in Washington and the economic messaging from the White House. Plus, some Senate Republicans push to codify DOGE cuts after meeting with Elon Musk, and automakers have one month's reprieve from tariffs on autos coming into the U.S. from Mexico and Canada. There's been an increase in new independent media voices over the past few decades, amplified especially in recent years by the rise of the internet and online media. Those trends, together with increasing financial difficulties for legacy newsrooms, have contributed to the relative decline of many mainstream news outlets and to the collapse of local investigative journalism. Added to these difficulties are wide-ranging accusations of bias, accessibility and sensationalism that news media professionals have sometimes struggled to address. More and more Americans are now gaining their news from social media or from “news influencers,” but this is not only an American trend. A United Nations study published late last year warned that roughly two-thirds of “digital content creators” around the world do not verify their information before publishing it. Watch the above 22-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks Americans to share their opinions on the news media industry and where they think they should go to for their news.
Our show opens with a couple of rabbit trails related to working outside, sunshine and Vitamin D. Then I open with a monologue about how we have heard, for decades, how presidents and members of Congress would run on promises to reform the Federal government. But, few have done more than make barely noticeable dents. That all changed with Donald Trump the first time, the machine did all it could to break him and ruin him. Now, back in office, we understand why he is moving with such urgency. He has to dismantle the bureaucracy and it's underpinnings now or we may never get another chance. Along the way we discuss the Elon Musk email and why it's another brilliant idea to identify the least productive members of the Federal workforce. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) agrees. Legal expert Danny Cevellos told an MSNBC panel that they need to stop hyping headlines over courtroom moves because Trump is going to win many of his cases. We then look at some of the other disrupters Trump put in positions in his cabinet. We hear from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem about how the Biden regime facilitated child trafficking. DNI Tulsi Gabbard reminds us that our civil liberties must never be infringed for the guise of physical security. Most importantly, Trump despising pollster, Frank Luntz, reminds a CNN panel that what Trump is doing is exactly what the voters wanted. As we begin to wind down, I remind you of how Sen. Adam “Lying Piece of” Schiff was the ringleader and Designated Liar regarding the Russia collusion hoax. His preemptive pardon does not cover that subject. Over the weekend, Dan Bongino was just named as the Deputy Director of the FBI and Bongino has said, we must never allow what Schiff did to stand. Perhaps we need to change the was refer to the Senator from California as now Adam Schiff “In his pants!” Finally, in an effort to try to gain an audience again, MSNBC has announced some shake-ups. The first on the chopping block is Joy Reid! The lying racist is going to have her last show this week. So, in honor of her departure, we turn to our good friend Jim Gossett, comedian and satirist, for a farewell song. Cracking down on immigration was one of Donald Trump's top 2024 presidential campaign promises, and he has sought to ramp up U.S. deportations and border security efforts since his return to the White House last month. Some proponents of stricter immigration systems have applauded those efforts, while critics protest that they are cruel, inhumane, unnecessary and ultimately bad for the U.S. economy. Watch this 29-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz asks a focus group of Americans to share their opinions on immigration issues and how they think President Trump has been doing on immigration in his first month back at the Oval Office.
Our show opens with horrific news that Hamas says a kidnapped mother and her two babies, now ages 2 and 5, are dead and they will be turning over their bodies. It's a reminder that a culture of death cannot co-exist with a culture of life. I once again get additional comment to that effect from independent Australian news reporter Erin Molan. We then look at the Delta flight that hit the runway so hard, it lost it's landing gear and rolled onto it's roof. The Legacy/mainstream media and the Left are desperate to hang this around Donald Trump and his cuts. It fails at every level, but they keep trying to use lies, fear and propaganda to shake loose his supporters. Attorney Alina Habba reminds everyone that while the Left wants to claim getting a Temporary Protection Order (“TPO”) as a win, it's only just that – temporary. In most of the cases, they are being overturned. White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told audience much the same, having to constantly fight fake news and false narratives. Yet, even MSNBC had to painfully admit that judges are siding with the Trump administration. When it comes to cutting fat in a failing institution, Kevin O'Leary tells a CNN panel that you should always cut 20% more than you think. He believes all of the departments in the Federal government need to be greatly reduced. In a sudden shift, former Covid Czar Dr. Deborah Brix now suggests that the mRNA vaccine wasn't a normal vaccine and that it wasn't meant for young or healthy people. She is literally gaslighting everything she and all of public health pushed. Not everyone in the EU was upset at the speech VP JD Vance delivered. In fact, it's becoming a rallying cry for those who are tired of the globalist agenda taking root in all of Western Europe. On a similar note, swing voters are very happy at the pace and direction of the Trump presidency. Much to CNN's dismay, pollster Frank Luntz had to admit that people who think of themselves as Democrats and had voted that way until 2024, are very happy with the direction the country is headed. We wrap up with the wit and humor of Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). He basically articulates the same things we've been wondering. With so many in the country liking the changes Trump is bringing, how do they think being “the Resistance” is a winning message? Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. You can find me on Facebook, X, Instagram, GETTR and TRUTH Social by searching for The Alan Sanders Show. Donald Trump's surprise win in the national popular vote count in the 2024 U.S. presidential race shocked even veteran political commentators. Part of that victory certainly owed itself to poor Democratic turnout — a turnout which resembled lower 2016 numbers instead of higher 2020 numbers and which traumatized the Democratic Party establishment with its first popular vote loss in two decades. A portion of that surprise victory, however, also came from individuals who voted for Joe Biden in 2020, but then voted instead for Trump in 2024. Watch the above 33-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz zooms in on a group of Americans who voted for Biden in 2020 but for Trump in 2024. Dr. Luntz asks them to share their personal reasons for why they moved over to Trump, what the Democrats could do to win them back, and how they think the returning president has been doing mere weeks into his second term.

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: 6:00pm- While speaking to a group of Latino voters on a Zoom call Tuesday night, President Joe Biden referred to supporters of Donald Trump as “garbage.” The comment came on the same night Kamala Harris made her “closing argument” to voters—largely preaching unity (despite the campaign regularly referring to Trump as a fascist). On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre flatly denied Biden ever called Trump supporters garbage. Meanwhile, members of the media have attempted to cover for Biden—with NBC's Kelly O'Donnell even referring to the gaffe as a symptom of the president's lifelong battle with stuttering. 6:10pm- While appearing on CNN, pollster and political analyst Frank Luntz said he believes President Joe Biden referring to Donald Trump supporters as “garbage” may cost Kamala Harris the election. Last month, Luntz predicted Harris would win the election. 6:15pm- Trump Campaign's Supreme Court Win. David Zimmermann of National Review writes: “The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that Virginia is entitled to remove noncitizen aliens from its voter rolls, siding with the commonwealth over lower courts less than a week out from the election. The order comes two days after Virginia attorney general Jason Miyares filed an emergency application, requesting that the Court stay an injunction that ordered Virginia to restore some 1,600 suspected noncitizens who are ineligible to vote to the state's voter rolls. A federal appeals court upheld the injunction on Sunday, quickly prompting the attorney general to appeal to the Supreme Court.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/supreme-court-allows-virginia-to-remove-noncitizens-from-voter-rolls-before-election/ 6:40pm- Vice presidential candidate J.D. Aaron Zitner of The Wall Street Journal writes: “Views of Harris have turned more negative since August, when equal shares of voters viewed her favorably and unfavorably. Now, the unfavorable views are dominant by 8 percentage points, 53% to 45%. Moreover, voters give Harris her worst job rating as vice president in the three times the Journal has asked about it since July, with 42% approving and 54% disapproving of her performance. By contrast, views of Trump have turned rosier. Voters recall his time as president more positively than at any point in this election cycle, with 52% approving and 48% disapproving of his performance in office—a 4-point positive job rating that contrasts with the 12-point negative rating for Harris. Moreover, voters give Trump a solid edge in most cases when asked about the candidates' agendas and policies. By 10 points, more voters have a favorable than unfavorable view of Trump's economic plan for the country, while unfavorable views of Harris's economic plan outweigh positive views by 4 points.” You can find the complete polling results here: https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/trump-leads-harris-wsj-poll-779f8516?mod=hp_lead_pos7 4:15pm- In a New York Times editorial, polling expert Nate Silver said his “gut says Trump” will win the 2024 presidential election. SERIES 3 EPISODE 45: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: It is safe to extrapolate that Donald Trump killed at least one American in order to instead send the Covid testing machine that might have saved them to Vladimir Putin. Bob Woodward's book says Trump "secretly sent Putin what were then rare Abbott Point of Care test MACHINES for the Russian's personal use.” From the supply meant for American citizens then faced with a rapidly-spreading virus for which there was no vaccine, no cure, and next to no treatment. To save Putin and his fellow scumbags, even if it killed Americans. May Donald Trump burn in hell – and the sooner the better. We know with certainty that Trump stole American testing machines from American hospitals and other crisis health facilities to give to Russia's dictator between March 31st 2020 and May 7th 2020. The earlier date is when Abbott says was “we began distributing our rapid point-of-care Covid-19 tests for our ID NOW system.” On May 7th officials in Russia and Russia's branch office at the Trump White House said “some (Covid) testing equipment as well as ventilators” had been sent to Russia. March 31st. That was the day Doctors Fauci and Birx tried to warn the country that the best case scenario was between 100 thousand and 240 thousand American dead. By April 10th there were more than 18 thousand Americans dead and more than half a million cases – 160,00 of them here in New York state. Our outside date on this window of infamy is May 7, by which point there were 72-thousand dead. 10-thousand more Americans would die in the next week… the latest possible date that someone could not get a test because Trump prioritized Putin's life over yours. AS TO THE OTHER BIG WOODWARD HEADLINE: We know Trump is STILL Putin's asset. Woodward quotes an unidentified Trump aide as saying the two creatures have spoken at least seven times since Trump was exiled from Washington. “In early 2024,” the Washington Post writes, “the former president ordered an aide away from his office at Mar-a-Lago… so he could conduct a private phone call with Russian leader." It got lost at the time, but at the debate against Biden in June, Trump confirmed that he talked to Putin between our exit from Afghanistan (August 2021) and Putin's invasion of Ukraine (February 2022). He has been in contact with an enemy dictator. Were Trump an FBI or CIA agent with such contacts he and his lawyers could at this moment be negotiating a plea deal so he could avoid the death penalty. B-Block (24:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Who's the worst person to speak to the future of legacy news media at The New York Press Club? No - none of my ex-girlfriends. Guess again. Joe Kernen is big mad at me, at Andrew Ross Sorkin, at Frank Luntz, at his own ferret toupees. And news chiefs Cesar Conde and Rebecca Blumenstein at NBC - Nothing But Cowards - now move into Catch-and-Kill mode, burying a movie critical of Trump until AFTER the election. C-Block (33:15) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Of all the politicians I've met since I first went into the field in 1997 one stands head and shoulders above the others in terms of the ability to take a joke at his own expense. I thought I'd heard him at the high point of his self-deprecation. Then, last week, he topped himself, making such a joke HIMSELF.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

SERIES 3 EPISODE 10: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: First he held a news conference where the reporters didn't have microphones. Then he held a news conference where the reporters basically didn't get to ask questions. What's next? A Trump News Conference without Trump? Sounds like a good idea. Incredibly, CNN ran the whole nonsensical non-news conference rant live. As somebody who was hired by CNN as its first year ended in 1981 I have a secret for them – the acronym stands for “Cable NEWS Network.” You're no longer news. Cut to a test pattern, fire everybody, and start from scratch. Which also applies to Trump's running mate. I'm beginning to think J.D. Vance is actually a Democratic plant. New Kensington, Pennsylvania. At VFW Post 92. That's Veterans of Foreign Wars, the post number is 92, and there is still the Sarah Palin rule. Vance called it "VFA," forgot the number, had to fish into his pocket for a card that had the number written on it, and forgot the Palin rule (if you're an idiot running for Vice President, and you have to remember something, just write it on your hand). There are more polls and Kamalapalooza continues. She's pulled off a nine-point swing in Pennsylvania and a ten-point swing nationally. So naturally Politico led with 28 paragraphs on Vivek Ramaswamy insisting Trump was listening to his advice to focus on the issues and not attack her. This is while the Republican campaign is imploding so quickly that now Frank Luntz is wondering if Trump is trying to lose. And as the Trump campaign continues to try to insist it has nothing to do with Project 2025, Media Matters uncovers the implausible. There's a Project 2025 training video starring Karoline Leavitt, who is now Trump's Campaign spokesperson. As the video ends she tells Project 2025 trainees that if they need any help to just contact her. SERIES 3 EPISODE 9: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Yesterday I said that the USA Today poll that had Vice President Harris down by five Florida was a great indicator of the Democratic tsunami that could be gathering but it's not like she's actually going to WIN Florida, and literally hours later in comes a new poll and she may actually WIN Florida. She's ahead in all but one of the Cook Political Report swing state polls. There are three new national polls (including Monmouth's) in which she's ahead. She's grown the Democratic lead among Latinos from 5% to 19%. Democratic enthusiasm has shot through the roof. She's cut Trump's lead among non-college-educated white people almost in half. It's such a torrent that even Frank Luntz has noticed, says it will soon be time to start figuring out if her coattails will win the House and Senate for the Democrats and “The people who were undecided have all collapsed towards Harris. The entire electoral pool has changed. Kamala Harris has got an intensity advantage, and I haven't seen anything like this happen – in 30 days – in my lifetime.” AND REMARKABLY I'M GOING TO DEFEND TRUMP: Not his campaign, not his hate, not WHAT he said while he was on with Elon Musk. But his claim that the equipment gave him that lisp/slurred words/sibilant 'S'? He's right. Anybody who's ever worked with audio processors designed to improve phone signals knows exactly what happened here. We used to call it 1979 Comrex Martian Disease. I'll explain. B-Block (23:50) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Internet trolls "Gunther Eagleman" and "End Wokeness" complain that the Ilhan Omar primary count didn't go fast enough, then went too fast, then they didn't like the outcome. Laura Ingraham complains Kamala likes curse words when Laura swears like a stevedore. And they play a prank on Liz Truss and she doesn't like it. C-Block (37:10) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Last weekend somebody told me their career was over and asked if anybody ever told me that and I said yeah, in 2016. And 2001. And 1984. Oh and 1977. Source: zerohedge.com Under Biden, More Government Jobs Than Factory Jobs President Biden claims to have created more jobs than any other president, yet the sector with the largest job gains was government, while manufacturing was near the bottom. The US currently has 23 million government workers compared to just 13 million factory workers. Out of the entire workforce of 268.6 million, government jobs account for 8.5% of total employment in the US. In Austria, a country that is much more socialist than the US, government employment makes up only 3.9% of the workforce. The key difference between a factory worker and a government employee is that a factory worker contributes directly to the economy. In the first quarter of 2024, manufacturers contributed $2.87 trillion to the U.S. economy.
