MADNESS OF WEALTH: 1/4: Go Woke, Go Broke: The Inside Story of the Radicalization of Corporate America by Charles Gasparino (Author) https://www.amazon.com/Go-Woke-Broke-Radicalization-Corporate/dp/1546007415/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= How did a bunch of rich dudes who run corporate America become the tools of left-wing radicals? Intimidated by activists on the left, virtually every major corporation in America has embraced woke politics. For years, these businesses could get away with progressive virtual signaling without worrying about alienating customers. Then the anti-woke counter-offensive movement arrived. As high-profile, disastrous backlashes at companies like Anheuser-Busch, Disney, Target and other companies reveal, companies who cave to the demands of left-wing social justice activists are being punished like never before. Customers are fighting back and taking their money elsewhere. In Go Woke, Go Broke, New York Times bestselling author and veteran financial journalist Charles Gasparino calls out the nonsense and takes readers inside the radicalization of corporate America, based on numerous insider interviews and exclusive reporting. The story is wilder than you can imagine. Gasparino introduces readers to America's most woke corporate leaders, tracing the origins of ESG and "stakeholder investing.” He takes readers along on for a rollicking ride through corporate America as he shines a light, unlike anyone else, on Fortune 500 companies that have suffered for caving to the silly and irresponsible demands of social justice activists and left-wing interests. A respected financial reporter who has covered finance for more than 30 years, Gasparino is deeply sourced and has dug into countless episodes involving Wall Street greed, corporate hubris, and government overreach in enterprise. This explosive, untold story and in-depth examination of the seminal players, institutions, and forces of the markets shows that, for the sake of global stability, we must immediately pry the clenched fists of radical activists off the levers of the economy. 1894 DEBS

The common parlance of the American Right contains quite a few novel adages these days. ‘Make America Great Again' is the main call to arms, and ‘Let's Go Brandon' expresses a pseudo-secret resistance to Joe Biden. Another, is a warning to fellow capitalists ‘Go Woke Go Broke'. Dylan Mulvaney's disastrous team-up with Bud Light is the exemplar of the rule, but then again, the socially progressive ice cream giant Ben & Jerry's has doubled its profits in the last ten years. So does this prophecy hold weight? Piers Morgan wants to know. Joining Uncensored to discuss brand social activism is co-founder of Ben and Jerry's Ben Cohen and former Anheuser-Busch executive Anson Frericks. Piers is then joined by a precisely selected range of experts and culture vultures to tackle Disney's new 'woke' Snow White; Uncensored contributor Esther Krakue, content creators Gary Buechler aka Nerdrotic and Will Jordan aka The Critical Drinker, author of The Case for Cancel Culture Ernest Owens, wrestler and actor Dylan Postl aka Hornswoggle and publisher of Film Threat Chris Gore. We have more fun this week with our DOGE report. It is a mixed bag of emotions as we look at all of the waste, fraud, and corruption that is being uncovered. Several people have been fired for their corruption and trying to pay almost $60 million to house illegal aliens in high end hotels. Go Woke Go Broke is what Disney is finally starting to see. Our friends at The View are at it again and there is an effort to pull the plug on federal dollars going to Planned Parenthood. We end with a funny story about a fugitive Emu.
Comedian Jim Florentine returns to the show and they open by talking about the changes in fashion trends for overweight women through the years, how we are now a shameless society, RFK Jr.'s cousin Caroline attacking his character. Next, Jason “Mayhem” Miller reads the news including stories about a high school principal in Florida hosting a party for teenage students that included alcohol, marijuana and a gun, a new lawsuit filed by a Southern California resident claiming that a surveillance video shows what started the Eaton Fire, the Minneapolis mayor announcing the city will not cooperate with Trump's deportation policy, and Madonna trying stand-up and bombing at New York's Comedy Cellar. Then, author & former Anheuser-Busch employee, Anson Frericks joins the show to talk about his new book “Last Call for Bud Light: The Fall and Future of America's Favorite Beer” and what went wrong in corporate America over the last 10 years.

Linda Hanson from Prosperity 101 argues that the recent trend of businesses embracing cultural activism and leftist thinking have found it hurt their business. Her organization argues that businesses should not just avoid taking sides in culture debates and politics but should actively educate employees on economic and policy issues that affect the economy and local businesses. Jaguar cars have gone woke! Now they will go broke! Have you seen their new advert? It is achingly diverse and right on it's like overdosing on Channel 4 news! The only thing that is missing is the blooming car and they've even redesigned the logo and got rid of the actual Jaguar. Why? It reminds me of Budweiser and the way there diverse advertising campaign sent their sales into a spiral of decline. The woke idiots, as with all advertising, love promoting diversity but the only diverse group they miss out is the white working class male. Men are always portrayed as stupid, lazy, ignorant or just downright toxic. How much longer are we going to put up with this nonsense? I love Jaguars but I hope they see the car crash they have created with their woke attitude, sack the creatives who came up with this garbage and do a swift u-turn. If they don't they are surely on the road to nowhere. Support me here please www.buymeacoffee.com/jongaunt

Charles Gasparino discusses the radicalization of corporate America and the rise of wokeness. He explores the influence of social media, culture wars, and the confluence of politics and finance. Gasparino highlights the tribalism in the stock market and the backlash against meme stocks. He also delves into the politicization of the boardroom and the adoption of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) by big companies. Gasparino argues that wokeness is a corrosive cultural phenomenon that divides society and lacks a unifying ethos. The Karol Markowicz Show is part of the Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Podcast Network - new episodes debut every Monday & Thursday.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
