Turns out AI chatbots can do more than create pornographic images of Miss Piggy...Jared and Mike are joined by Luke Barnes, a senior research scientist at NYU who explores issues related to tech and democracy, to talk about cases where AI chatbots have radicalized people and encouraged them to harm themselves and others. But before that, the guys discuss how the landscape of extremism has changed since Trump returned to power and why an attempted terror attack in San Diego seemed to evaporate from the public consciousness so quickly. But before we can nail any of that down, we need to start at the beginning: “The White House was our primordial soup, a base of evolution…”Links for LukeHow AI Chatbots Are Supercharging Digital RadicalizationThe AI Industry Is Discovering That the Public Hates ItAI Chatbots Are Unleashing Violence Among KidsTransition Music: "You Can't Have Everything" by Mad Drunken Americans

DESCRIPTION Allegations involving the Southern Poverty Law Center, questions about political violence, and concerns over growing ideological extremism dominate today's discussion. Tara examines claims of manufactured outrage, selective law enforcement, protest movements, and what these developments could mean for America's political future. SUMMARY Today's episode explores allegations surrounding the Southern Poverty Law Center following reports of an expanded federal fraud case involving the organization. Tara examines claims that donor funds were improperly used and argues that political fear and outrage have become powerful fundraising tools in modern American politics. The discussion then shifts to concerns about political violence, contrasting high-profile protest incidents, immigration detention facility confrontations, and differing approaches to prosecution across jurisdictions. Tara argues that inconsistent law enforcement responses have contributed to growing public distrust. The episode concludes with a broader conversation about political radicalization, ideological activism, gun politics, and concerns that America's political divisions are becoming increasingly volatile. Throughout the show, Tara warns listeners about the dangers of political extremism and the long-term consequences of escalating polarization. The MPV team is currently hard at work on Beyond Polarization, a limited series where we talk to people who are finding solutions to the increasing polarization we face in the United States. In the meantime, we bring you this episode from our friends at Disrupting Peace, a podcast from the World Peace Foundation about "why peace hasn't worked, and how it still could." What beliefs make people willing to commit violence, and what could change their minds? This episode explores what makes individuals vulnerable to white supremacist beliefs, what it means when extremism becomes mainstream, the surprising permeability of these groups, and how to talk to people in your life who express racist ideology. Peter Simi is a professor of Sociology at Chapman University, and an expert on extremist groups and violence in the US. Among his many publications, he is co-author of American Swastika: Inside the White Power Movement's Hidden Spaces of Hate, and Out of Hiding: Extremist White Supremacy and How It Can be Stopped. Sara Winegar Budge holds a doctorate in Psychology and is a licensed psychologist in Oregon. She is the Director of US Programs at Moonshot, which builds technology to identify and disrupt organized crime, child sexual exploitation, and trafficking, among other forms of abuse and violence. Her clinical work focuses on individuals who are or have been involved in violent extremism. Disrupting Peace is produced by Bridget Conley and Emily Shaw. Engineering by Jacob Winik and Aja Simpson. In this heartfelt episode of John Solomon Reports, we take a moment to honor the brave heroes of our nation—our veterans and the police officers who have served both on the battlefield and in our communities. John Solomon emphasizes the sacrifices made by those who defended our freedoms over the past 250 years, particularly focusing on the challenges faced by wounded veterans now left without a safety net. He introduces the Wounded Blue, an organization dedicated to supporting injured officers who have been abandoned by their departments due to injuries sustained in the line of duty. The episode features Congressman Chip Roy of Texas, who shares his insights on the upcoming Texas Attorney General race and discusses new legislation that could impact the state. As the show progresses, John shifts focus to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), examining its current challenges and the urgent need for reform. Senator Roger Marshall, a practicing physician, and Dr. David Gortler, a former FDA regulator, provide critical perspectives on the agency's operations and the implications for public health.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Today on Stinchfield, the San Diego mosque shooting exposes a terrifying reality the media refuses to confront. The two alleged shooters weren’t MAGA extremists. They weren’t conservative Christians. They weren’t Trump supporters. By all accounts, they were self described "incels" (involuntarily celibate) consumed by hatred for everyone: Jews, Muslims, Blacks, conservatives, Trump supporters and society itself. Investigators say the suspects appeared radicalized online, embracing a toxic ideology of rage and nihilism that cuts across every political line. Yet don’t expect wall to wall media coverage about the dangers of this kind of extremism because it destroys the corporate press narrative that only “right wing extremism” threatens America. At the same time, disturbing questions are also emerging about the mosque itself. Reports are resurfacing about controversial figures connected to the center over the years, including scrutiny involving radical clerics, and the mosque tied to two of the 9/11 hijackers. There's also troubling online activity allegedly linked to the hero security gaurd, who saved so many young children. Apparently he was "liking" pro-Hitler posts. The current Imam of the Mosque appears to condone violence against Jews just days after the October 7th attack on Isreal. But none of that excuses this slaughter. Three men are dead, including that security guard. This country is unraveling from every direction. Radicalization. Hatred. Broken institutions. A media that only reports violence when it fits the approved political script. America doesn’t just a gun problem, it has a spiritual and cultural collapse unfolding in real time.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Former taoiseach Bertie Ahern has stood by comments he made in a viral clip of him saying “there are too many” immigrants coming into Ireland. In an exclusive interview with The Indo Daily, he told Kevin Doyle he believed he was “speaking privately” while the clip was being recorded, and he was being recorded without his knowledge. Mr Ahern told The Indo Daily he rejects racism “in all its forms”, and he should not have singled out any one nationality or group of people in his comments. Rev Carrie Holley-Hurt's service delivered on May 10, 2026. The origin stories of Mother's Day were a cry for peace and an attempt to acknowledge the work of nurturing that goes unrewarded in a patriarchal society. While the day has become about the physical act of bearing and/or rearing children, the origins speak to something more radical, the transforming power of nourishing and providing care. Rev. Carrie unpacks this holiday and any gifts it might have for us.
In Episode 478 of The Andrew Parker Show, Andrew Parker examines the growing power of technology, online influence, and political radicalization in America.Andrew reflects on lessons from a technology policy course decades ago that predicted many of today's dangers: social media manipulation, ideological conditioning, online extremism, and the erosion of shared American values. He discusses how technology shapes political narratives, influences younger generations, and fuels division across the country. The episode also explores the Democratic Party's changing relationship with Israel, recent Senate votes regarding military aid to Israel, and the broader geopolitical importance of the U.S.-Israel alliance.Support the showThe Andrew Parker Show - Politics, Israel & The Law. Secret Service Funding & Political Conflict The U.S. Secret Service stopped an alleged assassination attempt and they were underfunded due to Department of Homeland Security budget disputes. Democrats repeatedly voted against DHS/Secret Service funding, framing this as irresponsible given security risks. This political rhetoric contributes to political violence. Discusses legal opposition to construction of a White House ballroom with enhanced security features. The court’s temporary halt to construction is portrayed as dismissive of national security concerns. There are repeated threats against President Trump as justification for heightened security. 3. Radicalization & Political Violence Narrative Attributes recent acts of political violence to left‑wing ideology and alleged “Marxist” indoctrination in academia. Cites a purported manifesto to argue that ideological framing of “oppressors vs. victims” is used to justify violence. 4. FBI Raids and Minnesota Fraud Allegations FBI raids on over 20 childcare and nonprofit facilities in Minneapolis related to alleged large‑scale fraud. The fraud is involving misuse of taxpayer funds, particularly in programs tied to childcare and social services. Minnesota political leaders are accused of ignoring or covering up fraud while later taking credit for enforcement. There is widespread abuse of SNAP (food stamp) benefits, including recipients allegedly owning high‑end luxury vehicles. The federal eligibility rules (broad‑based categorical eligibility) are at fault for enabling fraud. Both fraudsters and policymakers who support current rules should be held accountable. Democratic officials are benefiting politically from fraud & welfare expansion. Specific figures are cited as symbols of incompetence, corruption, or ideological extremism. 7. DEI Policies & Homelessness Programs Describes homelessness assistance systems, particularly in Portland, Oregon, as driven by DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) scoring systems. Aid is prioritized based on race, sexuality, or identity over economic need leads to ineffective outcomes. Despite very high spending per homeless individual, homelessness‑related deaths increased significantly. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. In today's episode of AmperWave Daily, Lee and Tara unpack a provocative media segment circulating across political talk platforms, focusing on commentary about a recent attempted attack on former President Donald Trump and the broader debate over political rhetoric in America. The discussion centers on claims about how extreme political language, media framing, and online narratives may influence unstable individuals, as well as the growing polarization between political factions. The hosts also examine arguments about whether modern discourse is contributing to real-world threats, and how public figures and media outlets are responding in the aftermath. This episode highlights the intensity of today's political environment and the ongoing debate over responsibility, interpretation, and the boundaries of political speech.
This episode is presented by Create A Video – Democrats have no natural immunity to the kind of justification for violence we are now seeing with increasing frequency because everything is viewed through a relativist oppressor-oppressed lens. One merely has to look at the reaction to recent murders of Charlie Kirk, the health care CEO, and two staffers from the Israeli embassy.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-pete-kaliner-show--6946691/support.Subscribe to the podcast All the links to Pete's Prep are free!Get exclusive content here!Media Bias Check: GroundNews promo code!Advertising and Booking inquiries: Pete@ThePeteKalinerShow.com
Are political words just words—or are they shaping real-world consequences? Tara breaks down the escalating rhetoric, media framing, and the dangerous feedback loop between messaging and action. ⚡ EPISODE SUMMARY In today's episode, Tara digs into how political rhetoric is escalating across media and leadership circles—and why it matters more than ever. From commentary surrounding Donald Trump to statements made by figures like Roy Cooper, Stacey Abrams, and Kamala Harris, the episode explores how language like “threat,” “dictator,” and “authoritarian” is shaping public perception. Tara also examines the role of influencers such as Hasan Piker and how rhetoric from both political figures and media personalities can contribute to heightened tensions. The episode raises a critical question: when repeated messaging paints opponents as existential threats, does it risk pushing unstable individuals toward extreme actions? This is a deep dive into narrative-building, media responsibility, and the real-world impact of political discourse.
“Rhetoric, Reality & Radicalization: When Words Turn Dangerous” DESCRIPTION: Tara exposes the collision of media narratives, political rhetoric, and real-world consequences in a deeply divided America. SUMMARY: Tara opens the show by dissecting escalating political rhetoric and questioning whether it is fueling real-world violence. Centering on controversial media decisions—such as the platforming of Hasan Piker—she argues that extreme viewpoints are being normalized rather than challenged, particularly when tied to the concept of “social murder,” originally rooted in the writings of Friedrich Engels. The episode pushes back against the “both sides” argument, asserting that violent rhetoric is not equally tolerated across the political spectrum. Tara highlights examples of inflammatory statements and explores how repeated messaging—especially when unchallenged—can shape perception and behavior. A major focus is the psychological impact of misinformation. Tara analyzes a recent manifesto tied to a violent incident, arguing that it reflects not randomness, but a structured belief system built from repeated media narratives, including claims about Donald Trump and long-debated controversies like Russia collusion. She contrasts these beliefs with findings from official investigations, raising concerns about how misinformation spreads and solidifies. The discussion expands into conspiracy theories surrounding recent events, including claims that incidents were staged, and examines how government secrecy—particularly withheld documents—can fuel distrust across political lines. Tara emphasizes that lack of transparency creates a vacuum that speculation quickly fills. The episode closes with a sobering reflection on security realities, the limits of prevention, and the growing concern that rhetoric, misinformation, and emotional manipulation are creating a volatile environment with real consequences. KEY TALKING POINTS: Media platforming of controversial figures and rhetoric The meaning and historical roots of “social murder” The “both sides” debate in political discourse How repeated narratives can shape belief and behavior Manifestos as reflections of constructed realities Russia collusion claims and public perception vs. investigations Conspiracy theories fueled by lack of transparency Security limitations and rising concerns over political violence QUOTABLE MOMENTS: “When you repeat something enough, it becomes reality to someone.” “This isn't chaos—it's constructed belief.” “If truth is hidden, something else takes its place.” “Rhetoric doesn't stay in the air—it lands somewhere.” CALL TO ACTION: Subscribe, share, and stay informed as Tara breaks down the narratives driving today's most explosive conversations. They discuss growing skepticism about governments and media, arguing mainstream outlets filter narratives and that Gaza especially has exposed media failures, pushing them toward Twitter and independent blogs. They describe increased polarization, tribal thinking, and how COVID accelerated denial of expertise and conspiracy thinking in Australia. They revisit recurring themes from past episodes—religion in politics, Liberal Party branch-stacking by religious fundamentalists, free trade agreements, submarines/AUKUS, and stalled economic reforms like negative gearing and capital gains—contrasting these with “soft issue” wins such as marriage equality, voluntary assisted dying, and abortion law reform. Tracing the roots of Christian Nationalism and the New Apostolic Reformation is no longer a fringe concern. It has become one of the most urgent forces reshaping American political life, and most people still do not understand where it came from, how it operates, or what it ultimately wants. Keri Ladner, PhD, does. A scholar of fundamentalist politics, she has spent years tracing the theological roots of movements like the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and documenting how they moved from the margins of American religious life into the centers of government and policy. Her new book, American Dominion: The Rise and Radicalization of a New Christendom (Bloomsbury Academic, official release April 16, 2026), offers one of the most carefully researched accounts yet of how we arrived at this moment. Keri has been a guest on this podcast before. In our first conversation, we explored her 2024 book End-Time Politics: From the Moral Majority to QAnon, tracing the ideological line from Jerry Falwell through the movements that helped bring Donald Trump to power. I encourage you to listen to that episode. In this second conversation, we went deeper: into the theological architecture behind the New Apostolic Reformation, the manipulation of faith healing, the alleged sexual abuse inside NAR-affiliated churches, and what the so-called Seven Mountain Mandate has to do with your children's school curriculum. Why “Christendom” and Not “Christianity” One of the first things Keri established was her word choice in the title of American Dominion. She did not write “Christianity.” She wrote “Christendom,” and the distinction matters. “When we're talking about Christendom, we're really talking about power structures,” she told me. “The term has historically been used to describe the Church-State relations in Europe, particularly medieval Europe. What I'm trying to show is that we are looking at an age of very heightened Church-State relations, to the point that the church is pursuing a level of power that we have not seen really since the Middle Ages.” This is not a story about religion. It is a story about control. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today Justin sits down with Mubin Shaikh. Mubin grew up in Toronto, Ontario in a family of Indian Muslim immigrants. As a young man, he was drawn down the path of radicalization after traveling to India and Pakistan and encountering Taliban fighters there. However, in 2004, he experienced a change of heart and soon began working with the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service to identify potential jihadis in Canada. In 2006, Mubin was the key witness in Canada's biggest ever homegrown terror investigation, which resulted in nearly 20 convictions. He's here today to discuss his experiences undercover with a terror group that later became known as the Toronto 18, which he wrote about in his book. Mubin's work was instrumental in securing convictions for the participants, but living a double life for more than two years also came at great personal cost to him. Today's guest might be one of the most controversial figures in the Western world. Tommy Robinson has been called everything from a free speech dissident to a dangerous agitator. In this highly anticipated episode of Keeping It Real, we sit down with the polarizing British activist for a candid, no-holds-barred conversation about his experiences in the UK and his stark warning for the future of the United States. We dive deep into the uncomfortable truths the mainstream media often ignores. Tommy shares his firsthand accounts of growing up in Luton, the devastating reality of the UK's systemic institutional cover-ups regarding localized child exploitation scandals, and the profound cultural shifts stemming from unchecked mass migration. In this episode, we discuss: The Warning: Why Tommy believes America is sleepwalking into the same cultural and political crises currently facing Europe. The Elon Musk Connection: The full story behind his unlikely alliance with the tech billionaire. We discuss Musk reinstating Robinson on X (formerly Twitter), Musk's decision to quietly fund Robinson's recent legal defense against UK state charges, and Musk's unprecedented video appearance at Robinson's massive London rally. Systemic Failures: A hard look at the catastrophic local exploitation scandals in the UK and the "institutional cowardice" that allowed organized networks to operate with impunity for decades. This is part two of our conversation with Dr. Joel Vos. If you haven't listened to part one yet, we recommend starting there first. In this episode, Andrew and Joel pick up where they left off, moving from the taxonomy of meaning at work into some of the harder questions about what happens when meaning goes unrealized, and what that costs individuals and societies alike.Joel draws on Albert Camus, his own clinical experience with radicalized individuals, and a systematic review of over 600 studies to make a case that extremism and polarization are, at their core, meaning problems, and that understanding them as such changes how we respond.Together, Andrew and Joel examine the MOSAIC framework Joel developed to explain how people cope when meaningful lives feel out of reach, and what leaders, organizations, and institutions can actually do to address that gap, including Joel's argument that meaningful work should be recognized as a human right.Key TakeawaysWhen people cannot realize the meanings that matter most to them, and non-extreme strategies repeatedly fail, radicalization becomes a predictable response rather than an aberration.Joel's concept of "existential compassion" offers a different starting point for engaging with people whose views we find troubling: genuine curiosity about what they actually want from their lives, before any attempt at debate or correction. The MOSAIC framework reframes coping with unfulfilled meaning as something that can be understood, supported, and redirected toward more constructive forms of change.Joel argues that protecting people's capacity to live meaningfully, including in their work, needs to move from an abstract aspiration to a legal and institutional commitment. Why This Episode MattersThe polarization, disengagement, and quiet desperation showing up in workplaces and in politics are often treated as separate problems with separate solutions.Joel's work suggests they may share a common root, and that organizations and leaders who understand that connection are better positioned to respond to it honestly, rather than just managing its symptoms.About Our GuestDr. Joel Vos is a Senior Lecturer (Research) in the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the Metanoia Institute in London. As the U.S. remains locked in a direct conflict with Iran, law enforcement experts are warning of a heightened threat landscape involving both international sleeper cells and self-radicalized lone wolves. Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent and Fox News Contributor James Gagliano joins to discuss the danger of Iranian drone capabilities against the West Coast, the recent wave of domestic terror attacks, and how modern social pressures may be inadvertently discouraging the public from reporting suspicious activity to the bureau. The Senate has overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan bill aimed at limiting large institutional investors from buying up single-family homes. Supporters argue the move will make homeownership more affordable for younger Americans, while critics contend it won't solve the broader housing crisis. FOX Business Network anchor Gerri Willis joins the Rundown to discuss what this could mean for the market if it becomes law, current housing trends, and how rising energy costs are impacting the industry. The Iran War has exposed a growing divide between battlefield realities and the way the story is reported. Headlines suggest chaos and failure, but the facts on the ground tell a very different story. In this episode of The P.A.S. Report Podcast, Professor Nick Giordano sits down with New York Post columnist and bestselling author Miranda Devine to examine how media narratives shape public perception. From the downplayed ISIS terror plot in New York City to growing concerns about sleeper cells, border security, and distorted coverage of the Iran conflict, this conversation explores the cost of a press corps that too often seems more interested in narrative than truth. What You'll Learn Why the attempted ISIS terror plot in New York City raised deeper concerns about domestic security How media narratives distort public understanding of terrorism and the Iran conflict What the Iran War reveals about the gap between headlines and battlefield realities Why border policy failures raise new risks tied to sleeper cells and national security How media bias and narrative framing influence public opinion and political outcomes
On this episode, Lisa Boothe speaks with FOX News Contributor & former FBI Agent, Nicole Parker about rising security concerns in the United States as tensions escalate with Iran and instability grows in the Middle East. Parker breaks down the suspected terrorist attack in Austin, Texas, explaining why “lone offender” attacks are among the most difficult threats for law enforcement to detect and stop. She also explains how individuals can be radicalized online, why soft targets like bars, concerts, and sporting events are often chosen, and what Americans should do in an active shooter situation using the FBI’s “Run, Hide, Fight” guidance. The conversation also dives into national security concerns tied to immigration and border policy, including reports of individuals on terror watch lists entering the United States. Parker discusses the challenges facing the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security, and how joint terrorism task forces work with local law enforcement to stop threats before they happen. Finally, Parker warns that future attacks may not resemble September 11 attacks, emphasizing that cyber attacks on critical infrastructure—such as power grids, water systems, or emergency services—may pose an even greater risk. Topics covered include: The suspected terror attack in Austin and the rise of lone offender violence Radicalization and recruitment through social media and online networks Concerns over sleeper cells and unvetted border crossings Why cyber warfare may be the next major battlefield How the FBI and local police work together to stop attacks before they happen Parker also shares her perspective on reforms inside the FBI and the renewed focus on national security threats as the U.S. navigates an increasingly volatile global environment.
