In this episode of Nick Nack Goes To The Movies, we take a deep dive into the super hero franchise that I grew up with, before Iron Man and Captain America we had Professor X, Magneto, and Wolverine. 13 movies in 20 years that just came to a close as we know it with ownership of the film right leaving Fox and going to the conglomerate Daddy Disney and the larger MCU. The New Mutants was a swan song that we will see if it is a masterful concerto or a sad screeching song that would not even get you past the auditions on American Idol. We don't know what the future holds for this franchise except something with Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool. But with this many mutant movies, we had to make our first split episode, this week we go all the way back to 2000 for the original X-Men and stop right after The Wolverine. Don't worry as we cover the rest in part 2, a day before Thanksgiving treat.
