The guy was complaining about how miserable he was at his high paying job  and how he couldn’t wait to go to Cancun for a weekend trip with his wife.  This really struck a cord with me and got me thinking about choosing a career based off of fulfillment and passion vs one of monetary significance. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people can relate to wishing away their week waiting for the weekend or some future event to be “happy”. It’s not like they’re going around saying, "I want to be negative", they just get caught up in it. Someone cuts them off in the morning, then they spill their coffee, then they get mad at their coworker, then they go home at night because they had a horrible day and get in a fight with their partner and it just spirals on to the next day. They get trapped. My mission in life and goal of this podcast is to get people unstuck from the negativity trap and encourage them to realize how lucky they are to have the life they have. Each day when we wake up to live another day - we’ve won the ultimate lottery.     Episode #101 Miles Sullivan’s life changed when he was just 20 years old and started to experience feelings of vertigo and light headedness. After many doctor visits with no answers, Miles finally got an MRI only to find he had a brain tumor. Two brain surgeries later and little improvement to his daily seizures, he stubbled upon a keto influencer on Instagram, Josh Perry.  Miles started Josh’s diet and fitness program and his life completely flipped upside-down. He went 2 months without a seizure for the first time in three years and adopted a whole new perspective on life.     Episode #97 Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding fasting, so I wanted to share my thoughts. Whether you're fasting to get into a deeper state of ketosis, experience Autophagy, for spiritual reasons, or to build up resiliency to food, there’s no right or wrong way to fast. It is hard to define what constitutes a fast because it is completely dependent on your end goal. Fasting has many great benefits and at the end of the day its about context and what you are trying to accomplish.      Enjoy the show!   Takeaways Does coffee break a fast? Exogenous ketones? Sweeteners? Water? How long should I fast? What time of day?  Fasting can be hard to define and there is no one answer to these questions. At the end of the day it comes down to what is your goal and what are you trying to accomplish by fasting. Going to the most prestigious college in the world won’t make up for those things. A college is a business. Be smart.
