What is it like to live Alcohol Free? Whether someone has a problem with alcohol, or just wants to see how their life might change by being alcohol free--or if you're just "sober curious" and you see that more and more people are starting to live alcohol free, this conversation is for you. Heck, even in Portland, Oregon, where I am--beer haven USA / IPA capital of the world--a duo of women developed an app to track and discover all the AF hotspots in town (Olivia & Sarah Sears). Suddenly, and wonderfully, people are experimenting with what it means to be AF. For me, livening alcohol free has led to nothing short of miraculous. I thought I was living wooping it up—alcohol gave me the courage I never had. I thought I could say the things I really meant. That I was creative, funny, smart. And all that was true—but it was not alcohol that gave me that. That's just who I was. And it was alcohol that actually covered all that up, and I didn't even know it. So, finding a way to live alcohol free? That, my friends, was the keys to the kingdom. That has been responsible for all the happiness, love, joy, and success in my life. And that is what today's guest is here to talk about. Living a Rich, Full life. Alcohol Free. Author, coach, and successful entrepreneur, Kay Allison , author of Juicy AF (alcohol free) is an award winning innovator who helps professional women break their drinking habits and get free from booze, free from shame and free from anxiety. She was a professional success as a Sr. VP of a global ad agency when she first when AF. After Kay Allison went AF, her life unfolded exponentially. She increased her income 600% and married the love of her life. She's free of shame. And wildly happy. Her book, Juicy AF* (*Alcohol Free) Stop The Drinking Spiral. Create Your Future, and her course “30 Days to Freedom for Professional Women” provide a step-by-step guide for high-achieving women. This interview is a game changer. We talk personal. We talk real. And Kay sets out the 5 spiritual laws from her book Juicy AF that guides women to a life that is not only AF, it's a life that is truly free. This is at the root of the quote by Melanie Beckler: Life is not happening to you, it's unfolding through you. Whether it is how we view the trees in the garden or how we view ourselves, reframing our beliefs about reality can help make our lives more fulfilling.

Today in ELM Naturals Podcast we are speaking with a dear friend of mine, Andrea Walsh. I invited Andrea on the show today because she has a hugely successful & inspiring story about how a change in her mindset and knowledge about healthy eating transformed her. Not only did she obtain a healthier mindset and attitude, she lost over 50 pounds and has sustained it for over a year now. The whole experience has changed her life in more ways than she could have ever imagined. This all started when she was feeling down and also feeling hopeless about weight loss, but was introduced to a different type of program through a mutual friend. It is NOT a weight loss program, but a “Healthy Lifestyle Program” called OPTAVIA. The program addresses many areas of health, including diet, mindset, hydration, lifestyle and more. Today, Andrea is a changed person. She obtained her weight loss goal and understands nutrition more clearly now so that she is able to maintain the weight loss. Additionally, she has more joy, more energy and a different outlook on life. This program has transformed her life. Now, as a way of giving back and supporting her mission to “spread hope and health to others”, Andrea has become an Independent Certified Health Coach with OPTAVIA. She has a genuine desire to share this experience with as many people as she can so that they may experience the health freedoms she experiences today. Would you like to be Happy, Joyous and Free……AND sustain a weight goal as a side benefit? Listen and see if OPTAVIA or a program like it would be right for you. If you would like more information about Andrea's OPTAVIA program you can visit her on FaceBook at Andrea Walsh (maiden name Will) or on Instagram at awillny. Thank you for tuning in to ELM Naturals Podcast where we educate and empower you to take control of your and your family's health!

The books tells us that our Higher Power wants us to be happy, joyous, and free (it's not just something people say in meetings). Apparently, in order to do that, we have to avoid manufacturing our own misery - which, for me, means looking for the joy. Big Book pages 132-133.
In this episode I talk about the fact that the "Big Book" describes an incredible experience. I also talk about the phrase "happy, joyous, and free" and look up those words.
The Happy Joyous man is a person that follows the procedure found in Psalm 1.1-3 and John 3.16 therefore is a believer in Jesus Christ. Happiness is the results of a life that one experiences external, around them.Joyfulness is an emotional experience that is experienced inside oneself.By meditating and studying the law of God strictly as prescribed in Psalm 1 you will experience a very fruitful life here on earth and be very happy. This is available to anyone (atheist, agnostic, Muslim,Jew, Confuscious, Buddhist, JW etc)To experience a happy and joyous life a man must prescribe to Psalm 1 and John 3.16You must be born again John 3.3-5, 16Then the ability to experience a joyful life is possible as explained in John 15Let’s read and make some some comments on the verses in John 15 asJesus explains joyful living.

Debbie, Christy and Craig speaking at WACYPAA 15 all sharing on the topic of Happy, Joyous and Gay
During those times when life seems empty and we’re feeling lonely, lost, or “less-than”--or even struggling with addiction--it’s often because our spirit has become squashed. We’ve disconnected or shut ourselves down. You hear it in the stories we tell. Driven by injury, false beliefs, fear, we accept this manufactured vision of ourselves as true. Yet our lives have the ability to go from living hell to living our version of paradise when we release our spirit from bondage. We can indeed achieve a Happy, Joyous and Free life! This is about resolving the past and getting into real time—new experiences and new interpretations about yourself, your relationship with others, and life itself. It helps you get in touch with intuition and instinct, develop your code of ethics and live in your truth. Such a transformed system allows you to determine what is appropriate according to circumstances in the moment—informed by the past, not a prisoner of the past.
