Frank Gifford was one of the great football broadcasters. A staple on Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell and Don Meredith, it's fair to say that most people remember Gifford for calling a game. But how many remember him for what he did on the field, or even know that he was one of the best to ever play? As a halfback and flanker, Gifford combined to score 77 touchdowns during his Hall of Fame career with the New York Giants. An all-around star, he also kicked (on occasion), played in the defensive backfield where he also scored a touchdown, and he holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a career by a non-quarterback with 14. Yes, Gifford could burn you in so many ways. His career at the University of Southern California was also spectacular. In fact, two years prior to his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Gifford was enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame. His No. 16 is retired by the Giants as well. On this episode of SFH, Chris Willis, Head Researcher at NFL Films, returns to the show for a wonderful discussion about on eof the game's all-time greats - Frank Gifford.

A study about the ability of certain dogs being able to smell cancer in humans is currently being done. How true is this and are the results reliable? How are medical professionals reacting to this news? Guest: Heather Junqueira, Head Researcher at BioScentDx - Several reports are saying a new license plate motto has been decided on. What's the new motto and is it related to a song the Ontario government released a while back? Scott opens the phone lines and wants your thoughts on this. - The Masters Tournament are just a few days away and people are getting excited for it... even people who aren't fans of golf? Why do people like watching The Masters regardless of if they follow the PGA tour? In his first novel, ‘The Last Chapter, he combines his inquisitive nature, research skills and love of the English novelist Charles Dickens, to write a murder mystery novel. Lyn Squire’s book looks at the fate of Dickens and his final unfinished novel ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’. THE STARCHILD SKULL is a unique 900-year-old bone skull found in Mexico in the 1930s. The Starchild Project is an informal organization which began in 1999 when Ray and Melanie Young, the owners of the Starchild Skull, asked Lloyd Pye to head research efforts to determine what caused the unusual shape and properties of the bone. The results uncovered by Pye’s team ruled out all known deformities, and presented the scientific community with a bone profile never before seen on Earth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EynQ5EEf7IM&feature=player_embedded
