Dylan Crews is officially back in the majors with Washington, forcing fantasy managers to weigh if he is worth a potential add. Joe Bond breaks down the fantasy impact of the latest roster shuffles, daily Buy/Sell/Drops, and a Chris Sale FanDuel Bet of the Day. The Nationals shake up their roster by bringing Dylan Crews back to the big leagues, while teammate James Wood steals the show with an inside-the-park grand slam. Meanwhile, Ryan Jeffers is slated to miss 6-to-8 weeks with a severe strain, and the Astros place Lance McCullers Jr. back on the IL. Jackson Holliday slides down to seventh in his season debut, while Gerrit Cole and Corbin Burnes lock in key weekend pitching milestones. Bo Bichette, Freddie Freeman, and Travis Bazzana lead a stacked group of daily studs. On the flip side, Christian Yelich and prospect Jac Caglianone land firmly in the dud column after frustrating performances at the dish. The Orioles...ugh! Same number of losses on May 3rd, 2026 as they had on May 3rd, 2025. Gunnar Henderson has the third most K's in the American League. Tyler O'Neill has 1 XBH. Colton Cowser went from 5th overall pick and ROY runner-up to 5th outfielder. Jackson Holliday and Jordan Westburg haven't sniffed a big league diamond. Jeremiah Jackson hasn't met a pitch he doesn't want to swing at. 3/6 of your starting rotation is on the IL, as are your two All-Star closers. The Orioles are bad, and we're stuck with them. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) and Chad (chadyoung.bsky.social) go three three ADP tiers and identify players they simply have to have in keeper leagues. These are players whose ADP represents a value this year and have potential to be great keepers, even if you have to pay an increasing cost for them, next year. We used FanTrax ADP and here are the rules we followed: One player each from inside the top 100 ADP, one from ADP 101-200, and one outside the top 200. Players should have keeper value, but they also have to be valuable this year. You are competing, so you aren't going to punt a pick and a roster spot to stash Jesús Made for a year or more. 4:35 - Pete goes pitching in the top 100, targeting Logan Gilbert for the possibility to combine his history as a 200-inning workhorse with his newfound 2025 K-rate. 10:04 - Chad wants to buy the dip on Jackson Merrill, whose ADP would make him a multi-year keeper if he rebounds like we expect. 18:06 - Chad sticks in the outfield, this time going for Heliot Ramos, whose ADP is just straight too low. 26:55 - Another outfielder, this time from Pete who loves the power from Daulton Varsho, even if you get nothing else from him. 36:39 - Once we get outside the top 200, a lot of prospects are interesting, but we tried to stay away from them, and Pete finds himself targeting Francisco Alvarez. 43:21 - Chad wraps things up with a look at why Jackson Holliday is on multiple of his rosters. Jesse Gibson is back from 18 days abroad and the data he brought back from the London and Dublin card shows is a focus of today's show. While the U.S. hobby is hyper-focused on speculation, we are breaking down the differences in "vibe" and why international shows are attracting a much younger crowd. We also look at the massive organic surge in TCG and sports card interest that feels like the U.S. hobby three years ago. Mike Gioseffi and Jesse also dive into the "Hobby Busts" of the last decade, comparing current hype for current top prospect Konnor Griffin to the massive price drops of guys like Anthony Volpe and Jackson Holliday. We also tackle the "cringe" factor of Kevin O'Leary's latest marketing stunts and debate whether "mega-influencers" are actually helping or hurting the long-term health of the hobby. Finally, we look at the February Gem Rate numbers to see which grading companies—Beckett, PSA, or SGC—are actually gaining ground in 2026. With Francisco Lindor's hamate bone injury looming, the show pivots to the sudden wave of baseball injury news around the league, including Corbin Carroll and Jackson Holliday also dealing with hamate issues. The guys explain why this injury can be deceptively tricky, why power can take longer to return even after the “six week” timeline, and why Yankee fans are bracing for the next bad spring training update when Boone and Cashman meet the media. They also revisit the original “three big stories” debate, weigh Soto's move to left field against Lindor's injury as the most important headline, and take early calls from fans on what the Mets should do if Lindor is not ready. Then the conversation swings back to the Knicks, breaking down the overtime loss to Indiana, Karl-Anthony Towns disappearing, Brunson forcing it late, and the accusation that Rick Carlisle coached like he was trying to lose.
The discussion opens with how MLB teams handle injury timelines and expectations. David Stearns insists the Mets expect Francisco Lindor to be ready for Opening Day, while other organizations take a much more conservative approach. The guys compare Lindor's situation to Corbin Carroll and Jackson Holliday, whose season will start late after surgery, with Orioles GM Mike Elias flatly ruling him out for Opening Day. Is this honesty, gamesmanship, or simply different philosophies on setting expectations? From there, the conversation shifts to the Knicks and the growing backlash against Karl-Anthony Towns. Why has he become the ultimate lightning rod, and why did even the MSG broadcast turn on him? With pointed criticism from Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier, the segment breaks down the nonstop complaining, bad fouls, and whether Towns needs to play more physically to change the narrative.
In Hour 2, the conversation starts with how teams across MLB handle injury timelines and expectations. David Stearns says the Mets expect Francisco Lindor to be ready for Opening Day, while other organizations take a far more cautious tone. The guys compare Lindor's situation to Corbin Carroll and Jackson Holliday, and debate whether honesty or optimism is the better approach, including comments from Orioles GM Mike Elias. Then the focus shifts to the Knicks and the growing frustration around Karl-Anthony Towns. Why has he become such a lightning rod for criticism, and why did even the MSG broadcast turn on him? With clips and reactions from Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier, the discussion breaks down the complaints, the fouls, and whether KAT needs to change how he plays and carries himself on the court.
