It won't be news to anyone that this upcoming election is fraught with many potential problems.  Based on a new study by Just Facts, 10% to 27% of “non-citizen” adults in the U.S. are estimated to be illegally registered to vote. Aggressive attempts to debunk the study have completely failed. With roughly 20 million adult non-citizens living in the United States, about two to five million of who used to be called illegal aliens are now illegally registered to vote. This means that there are enough votes to overturn the votes of the American citizens in the upcoming congressional and presidential elections. Here's another big issue to consider: 2020 was the first time an election was conducted by mass vote-by-mail. It was a train wreck. According to federal data, election officials do not know what happened to nearly 15 million mail ballots in 2020. Biden's victory margin was smaller than the number of missing and undeliverable ballots. Vote-by-mail is the worst way to run an election, yet we're plowing ahead with this once again.  To dig into these, and many other voting issues, Bill Walton is again joined by            Cleta Mitchell, Senior Legal Fellow at the Conservatives Partnership Institute and one of the leading election integrity experts in America, and             James D. Agresti, the president and cofounder of Just Facts, a research institute dedicated to publishing extensively researched and documented facts about public policies.   Here's some of we talked about to ensure free and fair legitimate elections:  03:30-05:14 Demand proof of citizenship for every voter registration—no proof, no vote.Without citizenship verification, the integrity of the entire election is at risk.       07:30-08:15 Purge voter rolls of ineligible non-citizens—it's not suppression, it's fairness. Dirty voter rolls lead to dirty elections. Clean them up or lose democracy. 05:14-06:44 Ban driver's licenses for non-citizens if used for voter registration—enough loopholes! Driver's licenses should never be a backdoor for illegal voting. 06:30-07:00 Expose left-wing groups enabling illegal voting—they're undermining your vote. Billions of your tax dollars fund left-wing groups assisting non-citizens to vote. 12:21-12:56 Enforce strict penalties for non-citizens caught voting—deportation and prison. Voting is a sacred right; illegal participation should have real consequences. 17:10-17:39 End the Democrats' reliance on non-citizen votes—stop the “great replacement.” Changing the electorate to maintain power? That's the real threat to democracy. 33:21-33:30 Make Election Day a national holiday—end the endless election season madness. Voting must be a one day event, not a season. Stop the manipulation of election outcomes through extended voting   . 35:30-37:13 Challenge media and big tech bias—Google is rigging elections through search results. Big Tech is controlling what you see, steering elections. Push back or be silenced. 28:30-28:49 Block all mail-in voting unless citizenship and identity are verified—no excuses. Voting by mail without checks is an invitation to fraud. Time to stop it. 18:00-18:51 Stop treating non-citizens as political pawns—vote manipulation is the real voter suppression. Non-citizens dilute the votes of legitimate citizens. That's the ultimate suppression. 18:00-18:51 Every illegal vote nullifies a legitimate citizen vote—don't let them cancel you out. Your vote should not be diluted by an illegal vote cast by someone who is not a citizen 12:00-12:21 Push for criminal prosecutions for anyone facilitating illegal voting—no more leniency. It's time to hold people accountable for undermining elections—starting with those enabling the fraud. These are the bullet points. For a fuller understanding, listen in.

[SEGMENT 2-1] Kamala the role model 1 Everybody is a role model. We put some much into this that I've thought a lot about it. We are models, all of us. People watch us. A big brother, a little sister, whatever you are, you're being watched. [X] SB – Kamala Harris on being a role model First woman AG DA Color AG First first first. It's tough. I enjoyed watching as Harris waited for the onlookers to applaud or somehow give her recognition for accomplishing nothing. It's awkward to watch, and happens around 0:16. It's like the teleprompter read: "Wait for applause". When the applause didn't happen, Harris declared, "It's tough", and she began to show the beginning of the cackle. But she caught herself. She then declared, "Being in the role model club means being in a room where you may be the only person who has had the experiences you've had." Harris wanted an award but failed to recognize that every person in that room had their "firsts". Certainly no one can relate to her unique experiences, though many women have slept their way into power. Still, we are unique individuals and thus can not share in others' unique experiences. Nevertheless, we can know anecdotally how certain thing feel.  [SEGMENT 2-2] Kamala the role model 2      [SEGMENT 2-3] Election Integrity If there is no cheating happening, then how are we getting so many wins for election integrity? Undated and misdated mail-in ballots cannot be counted in Pennsylvania, the state Supreme Court says, vacating a lower court's ruling on jurisdictional grounds. The ruling risks disenfranchisement for thousands of voters in the swing state. Arizona found 100,000 voters registered who shouldn't have been.       2 million illegal voters   https://washingtonstand.com/news/15-to-27-million-illegals-likely-to-vote-in-2024-experts Do you plan to vote this November? You're not alone. Experts say somewhere between 1.5 million and 2.7 million illegal immigrants are likely to cast a ballot in the 2024 elections, impacting races from dog catcher to president of the United States. The historic flood of illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris administration has also padded voter rolls, thanks to controversial federal legislation from the Clinton administration. If illegal immigrants and other noncitizens vote in the same proportion as in previous U.S. elections, the number will range anywhere from one-and-a-half to nearly three million votes. “A 2014 academic journal found that 6.4% of noncitizens voted in 2008,” Kerri Toloczko, executive director of Election Integrity Network and senior advisor to the Only Citizens Vote Coalition, told The Washington Stand. “There are about 24 million noncitizens in the U.S. right now. If they voted only at the same rate of 6.4% this year as they did in 2008, they would account for 1.5 million votes.”That ponderous number of unlawful votes may just be the tip of the iceberg. “Based on the increased noncitizen activity at state DMVs, and the work of left-wing voter registration activists, this 6.4% could be much higher than it was in 2008. We could be looking at over two million unlawful noncitizen votes,” she told TWS. Her estimate largely dovetails with a previous study showing 2.7 million noncitizens are likely to vote in the 2024 election. The author of that study — James D. Agresti, the president and cofounder of the think tank and fact-check website Just Facts — confirmed to TWS that “the most comprehensive, transparent, and rigorous study on this matter found that about two to five million noncitizens are illegally registered to vote, and aggressive attempts to debunk the study have completely failed.” Opponents of election integrity laws minimize the problem by claiming it is already illegal for foreigners to vote in U.S. elections. But, unlike other purported threats, the problem truly holds the power to undermine our democracy, election experts say. “The Left likes to use phrases like, ‘It's not that widespread,'” Toloczko observed. “But how many does a moral relativist uninterested in upholding the law think is too many?” And “if every unlawful vote cancels out the vote of a lawful citizen voter, how many of those are acceptable?” Would two million unlawful votes be “enough to possibly make a difference in House and Senate races, and even the presidency?” she asked. “You bet.” Agresti noted that “the claim that noncitizens rarely vote is based on studies with absurd methodologies. For example, they measure the prevalence of this crime by merely counting convictions for it.” This is “ridiculous,” Agresti told TWS. He compared the statistic to measuring the number of Americans who illegally use narcotics “based on guilty pleas and verdicts. The same applies to any other law that isn't strictly enforced, like driving above the speed limit.” The House of Representatives released a 22-page report in June documenting illegal immigrants voting in the United States. Under current law, 17 cities in California, Maryland, and Vermont as well as the District of Columbia allow noncitizens to vote. While the noncitizens are supposed to vote only in local elections, “mistakes” have been reported. Toloczko highlighted documented cases of foreigners illegally voting in U.S. elections. “The federal government recently indicted a group of noncitizens from 15 different countries on federal voting charges. Texas recently purged 6,500 noncitizens from its voter rolls — 30% of whom had voting records,” Toloczko told TWS, expressing similar thoughts in The Stream. Illegal immigration impacts U.S. elections in a second way: Counting noncitizens in the U.S. Census redistributes eight congressional seats and, with them, their Electoral College votes which elect the president, a team of immigration scholars found. America's teeming illegal immigrant population gives additional congressional seats to California (3), Texas (2), New York, New Jersey, and Florida (one each); and it takes seats away from Alabama, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Ohio, Rhode Island, and West Virginia (one seat each). Illegal immigrants alone transfer one seat each from Ohio, Alabama, and Minnesota to California, Texas, and New York, the study from the Center for Immigration Studies found. House Republicans have sought to address the problem by passing a number of border security and election integrity measures, including the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 8281), which would require local election officials to verify someone's U.S. citizenship status before registering that person to vote. It passed the House of Representatives in July. “States are prohibited from requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship” thanks to court interpretations of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.) told Fox Business show “Mornings with Maria” on Tuesday. “[SEGMENT 2-4] Price to pay for democracy [X] SB – Harris price to pay for democracy [X] SB – John Kirby says they held themselves accountable We've all held ourselves accountable. In this age of fake news, disinformation, shadow banning and government agencies like CISA aiming to manipulate what it calls our “cognitive infrastructure” it is hard to answer this question.  To explore how we can go about finding what's true and what is not,  Jim Agresti, the founder of Just Facts, returns to help clarify our thinking.  Just Facts is an institute dedicated to publishing facts about public policies and teaching research skills using exacting Standards of Credibility to determine what constitutes a fact and what does not. The vision of Just Facts is to equip people with facts “to make truly informed decisions. This means facts that accurately and fully convey reality—not pseudo-facts, half-truths, or talking points.” “Do you have the information you need to make quality decisions in your life and in the voting booth? You can rarely get the full picture of what something is about from an 800-word news article or commentary. You have to dig much deeper,” explains Jim. In this episode we talk about Just Facts exacting Standards of Credibility that is uses to produce research that is accurate and truly informative. Here's a summary: Comprehensiveness: It's a simple thing to distort reality by selecting only facts that align with partisan views while ignoring others. Half the truth can amount to a total lie. Primary Sources means identifying credible primary sources instead of secondary ones that often reflect an “interpretation” of the facts instead of the actual facts.  Rigorous Documentation means documenting facts far more thoroughly than academic standards require, footnoting every fact with creditable sources, and citing quotations or data exactly. Harvard's Claudine Gay should have consulted with Jim.  Raw Data presents data in its rawest comprehensible form to safeguard against data corrupted by errors, rhetorical mischaracterizations, or statistical manipulation.  Verification uses different sources, methodologies, and calculations to double-check verifiable facts. If they'd done this, NASA wouldn't have lost a Mars Climate Orbiter because they mixed up metric and English units when coding the mission software. Clarity means using language that is precise and unambiguous in order to minimize the potential for misinterpretation.  Balance: In this age of raging partisanship, almost no one does comprehensive accuracy or tries to balance views. Instead, sound bites are laced with rhetoric and misinformation, and opposing views given short shrift.  Of course, not everyone is interested in a disinterested discussion rooted in a dispassionate comparison of facts.  Vladimir Lenin - and most all on the Left who have followed him - said that “moral and factual considerations are irrelevant when it comes to how to sway the public most effectively. Our morality is entirely subordinated to our interest of advancing communism.” So the question we have to ask is: even if we know what's factual and true does it matter in today's world of raw power politics?  Listen in to decide for yourself.

A new study out of the U.K. indicates pandemic restrictions also had a deleterious impact on the minds of the elderly. Dr. Anne Corbett of the University of Exeter Medical School and her team examined neuropsychology data from 3,142 individuals, all 50 years of age or over, who had been participating in a multi-decade dementia study in Britain. The researchers compared data on this cohort collected before the pandemic, early in the pandemic, then once more toward the tail end of the pandemic. The researchers observed "[s]ignificant worsening of executive function and working memory" in the first year of the pandemic across the whole cohort, the average age of which was 67.5. Working memory continued to worsen across the whole cohort in the second year of the pandemic. By the time restrictions had ultimately been eased, the damage had been done. According to the study, cognitive decline was significantly associated with reduced exercise and increased drinking across the whole cohort. Depression, another driving factor of cognitive decline, was notable amongst those who contracted COVID-19. Loneliness proved especially detrimental to those with mild cognitive impairment. "People aged 50 years and older in the UK had accelerated decline in executive function and working memory during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which the UK was subjected to three societal lockdowns for a total period of 6 months," said the study, published in the Lancet journal Healthy Longevity. The British government, which funded this study via the National Institute for Health and Care Research, not only limited the number of times citizens could exercise outside during the pandemic, but shuttered gyms, golf courses, sports courts, swimming pools, and indoor sports facilities. "The scale of change is also of note, with all groups—the whole cohort and the individual subgroups—showing more than a 50% greater decline in working memory and executive function and many effect sizes reaching a clinically significant threshold of greater than 0·3," said the researchers. The researchers further stressed that "[t]hese factors map closely to the population-wide changes in health and lifestyle seen during and after the lockdowns, raising the important question of the effect of the pandemic on cognitive health and risk across populations." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/appeals-court-reinstates-gag-order-trump-fraud-case Appeals court reinstates gag order in Trump fraud case A New York appeals court reinstated a gag order preventing former President Donald Trump from maligning court staffers on Thursday. New York Judge Arthur Engoron had initially issued the gag order in early October after Trump lashed out at one of his law clerks on social media. Trump is currently fighting accusations of business fraud leveled by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Appeals court Judge David Friedman had issued a stay on Engoron's gag order on Nov. 16, saying it potentially infringed on Trump's First Amendment rights. By that time, Engoron had already fined Trump $5,000 for violating the order on social media on Oct. 20, and did so again on Oct. 25 for another $10,000 before threatening imprisonment if further violations were committed. Trump took the stand to testify personally in early November. He repeatedly cast James’ yearslong investigation and lawsuit as a "disgrace" and an attack on his business and his family. Trump has denied any wrongdoing and insists his assets were actually undervalued. Trump has repeatedly said his financial statements had disclaimers requesting that the numbers be evaluated by the banks. Engoron ruled in September that both Trump and his company had committed fraud by deceiving banks, insurers and others by overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing. Trump has attacked Engoron and James — both Democrats — as politically biased "operatives." "They are defending the Worst and Least Respected Attorney General in the United States, Letitia James, who is a Worldwide disgrace, as is her illegal Witch Hunt against me. The Radical and Unprecedented actions of Judge Engoron will keep BUSINESSES and JOBS forever out of New York State," Trump wrote in a recent social media post. https://www.justfactsdaily.com/1-in-every-39-americans-will-die-of-a-drug-overdose-at-current-rate 1 in Every 39 Americans Will Die of a Drug Overdose at Current Rate Despite the passage of state and federal laws that were supposed to reduce fatal drug overdoses, the annual U.S. drug overdose death rate has quintupled over recent decades: Over the most current year of available data, more than 110,000 people in the U.S. died of drug overdoses, a rate of 33 per 100,000 population. In order to measure these deaths in clear, relevant terms, Just Facts enlisted the expertise of a licensed actuary and a Ph.D. mathematician to calculate, double-check, and triple-check the average lifetime odds of dying of a drug overdose. The shocking result of these calculations is that 1 in 39 people will have their lives cut short by drug overdoses if the rate of such deaths stays at the current level. Those odds will become far worse if the rising trend continues. The lifetime risks of tragic events are much more revealing than the raw numbers or annual rates commonly reported by government agencies and the media. This is partly because the U.S. is the third-most populous nation in the world, so tens, hundreds, or even thousands of events may amount to a very low risk. The other reason, which is less obvious, is explained by a 1987 Department of Justice report on the likelihood of being a crime victim: Annual victimization rates alone do not convey the full impact of crime as it affects people. No one would express his or her concern by saying, “I am terribly afraid of being mugged between January and December of this year.” People are worried about the possibility that at some time in their lives they will be robbed or raped or assaulted, or their houses will be burglarized. Each month, the CDC estimates drug overdose deaths based on data reported by the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The latest estimates, which include deaths up through June 2023, show that 111,877 people died of a drug overdose in the prior 12 months. To place such figures into the broader context of the U.S. population and people’s lifespans, Just Facts asked a licensed actuary to develop a method for calculating the average lifetime risk of death from various causes. The actuary used two separate methods, both of which yielded the same results. To further ensure accuracy, Just Facts had a Ph.D. mathematician check the formulas. Applying this methodology to the CDC’s latest estimates of overdose deaths, roughly 1 in every 39 people will die of drug overdose if the rate of such deaths stays at its current level. Beyond lifetime risk, another important measure of a mortal danger is the years of life that it robs from its victims. Because humans cannot prevent death but only delay it, there is a material difference between the tragic premature deaths of a 20-year-old in the prime of her life and a 90-year-old in poor health. Although some leading medical scholars ignored that vital fact during the Covid-19 pandemic, a 1983 CDC report about fatal accidents explains that the “the allocation of health resources must consider not only the number of deaths by cause but also by age.” The average age of people who die of drug overdoses is about 43 years, while the average U.S. lifespan is about 77 years. In contrast, the average age of people whose deaths involved Covid-19 is about 75 years. Yet, government officials locked down entire states for extended periods to prevent the spread of Covid, causing multitudes of collateral deaths. This likely included overdoses, which soared in the wake of these measures. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/jets-aaron-rodgers-takes-big-step-hopeful-return-achilles-injury Jets' Aaron Rodgers takes big step in hopeful return from Achilles injury The New York Jets opened the 21-day practice window for Aaron Rodgers on Wednesday, sparking hope the quarterback could return this season just mere months after tearing his Achilles. Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters that it doesn’t necessarily mean Rodgers is going to come back and play, but is rather a "progression in his rehab." "For Aaron, what he would be doing in practice is no different than what he’d be doing on the field with regard to certain drills in the individual – instead of throwing with staff members, he’s throwing with teammates," Saleh told reporters. "There’s no added risk to it. There’s certain things he’s been cleared for that we’re going to allow him to do." Saleh lauded Rodgers’ drive and motivation for pushing himself to get back to where he is and the want and need for him to be with his teammates. "He’s sacrificed so much already for the organization and himself and his teammates and he’s doing it again. I think it’s a testament to who he is as a human," Saleh added. Rodgers’ timeline is still really unclear. He tried to lay it out the best he could in his appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" this week. "Once I'm healthy, then it's where we're at, are we alive, are we in it… It's health first, and are we alive for the playoffs second.". New York is 4-7 entering Week 13 and their playoff hopes are dwindling.

Albert Einstein said science can only flourish in an atmosphere of free speech.  Today, despite claims about “following the science” with regard to Covid 19, this is simply not happening. Why? Because “they” have taken away one of the essential elements of science: allowing people to disagree based on facts learned through experiments and observation, reconciling practical knowledge and ends with scientific laws.  This is how science works. This is how freedom works. This is how good things happen in a free society because people are free to get information and disagree. Nobody is in possession of the ultimate truth.  By contrast, look at every totalitarian regime, what do they do? They squash free speech. And when that happens, people suffer.  Who are “they?”  I think we all know by now and it seems that they have the totalitarian playbook well in hand. Facebook, Twitter, all the tech giants and the mainstream media have all decreed that if you say something that is at odds with the CDC, the World Health Organization, they're going to censor you. An open debate about the Covid-19 virus and its variants - their origins, spread, lethality, vaccine effectiveness, governments' mandates to control their spread and on and on - is simply not happening. So to learn about what is true and what could be happening if we actually did follow the science, I'm joined in this episode by Jim Agresti, founder of an extraordinary shop, Just Facts. Just Facts a nonprofit institute dedicated to publishing comprehensive, straightforward, and rigorously documented facts about public policy issues.  Some what we talk about:  The effectiveness of vaccines versus natural immunity How different are Covid 19 variants from the original virus. Claims Joe Biden has made about the virus and its vaccines. You'd be better off listening to Dr. Jill. How the virus really spreads. Hint: it's not what the CDC originally claimed. The effectiveness of surgical masks (as documented by peer reviewed journals). Breathing CO2 all day is not good for you.  Why nursing homes - and you - could benefit from a good UV disinfection system. The social and health costs of lockdowns versus their benefits. The CDC and the WHO have been patently wrong about many important things. “We've seen that time and time again, whether it's a death rate, how this thing spreads, the list goes on and on and on … misstatements by the World Health Organization,” reveals Jim. Jim Agresti's hard work at Just Facts has revealed a lot of essential truths - and a lot about real science - concerning the virus and its aftermath. Listen in and learn.

Medical studies show that excessive stress and anxiety are among the most debilitating and deadly of all health hazards in the world.  Beyond their obvious effects like suicide and substance abuse—these mental stressors are strongly related to and may trigger and inflame a host of ailments like high blood pressure, digestive disorders, heart conditions, infectious diseases, cancer, and pregnancy complications. Based on a broad array of scientific studies, my guest Jim Agresti and his organization Just Facts, have calculated that the health risks created by reactions to Covid-19—such as stay-at-home orders, business shutdowns, media exaggerations, and legitimate concerns about the virus—will destroy at least seven times more years of human life than can possibly be saved by lockdowns to control the spread of the disease.  This figure is a bare minimum. The total years of life that it will rob from all people is likely more than 90 times greater. So when a politician like Andrew Cuomo declares that he will take every draconian measure to “save just one life” from Covid 19 he's ignorant to or simply ignoring the massive human costs he's imposing.  Moreover, there's growing evidence that's there not much relationship between the severity of government imposed lockdowns and excess deaths.  Are we looking at one of the most massive leadership blunders in history? Join me as I explore all this with Jim Agresti.
