Ep. 211 - Kimberly is joined by lifestyle entrepreneur, author, and fitness expert Audrey Dunham for an intimate, hilarious, and inspiring conversation about motherhood, marriage, and the realities of building a business from the ground up. Audrey reveals the quintessential Hollywood story of how she met her husband, famed comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, while working at a restaurant in Studio City—and how she ended up touring the world as his fitness trainer for seven years. And she opens up about her whirlwind IVF journey and the surprise of naturally delivering her fraternal twin boys, Jack and James, 5 weeks early. She shares the raw (and exhausting) reality of navigating the first two years of raising twins all while building her business: Autumn Sons Baking Co. Bill Maher sits down with Jeff Dunham, the world's most successful ventriloquist and one of the highest-grossing comedians of all time, for a conversation that goes well beyond comedy. From their Johnny Carson debuts to decades spent on the road, the two swap stories about success, audiences, and the strange realities of show business. Jeff shares what it's like performing the same act in places as different as Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, while Bill weighs in on modern politics, free speech, and the cultural shifts that have transformed comedy. Along the way, they get into Gen Z's aversion to capital letters, the disappearance of common sense, and why comedians with props still don't get the credit they deserve. Maher won his first Emmy in 2014 as executive producer for the HBO series, “VICE.” In October of 2008, this same combination was on display in Maher's uproarious and unprecedented swipe at organized religion, “Religulous.” Maher has written five bestsellers: “True Story,” “Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Anthropic just released Claude Opus 4.8, and the headline improvement is unusual: the model is built to flag its own uncertainty and say "I'm not sure." Anthropic says it's roughly four times less likely to let a flaw pass without catching it. When a company's flagship upgrade is honesty, that tells you something about where we are. Here is the other side of it. Harrison asked Google's Gemini one simple factual question for an article he was writing: did Jeff Dunham use AI to create the opening visuals for his 2024 comedy special? Gemini said yes, confidently, and cited a source. When Harrison pushed on that source, the tool did not check itself. It invented a new one. Then another. By the end it had manufactured four separate references, including a word-for-word on-screen quote that does not exist, before finally admitting the only real source was a single unsourced blog post. This episode walks the whole chain step by step. You will learn:- The exact failure mode: when an AI hits a popular but unverified claim, it gets confident instead of careful, and every round of pushback produces a fresh citation instead of a fresh doubt.- Why the Vectara Hallucination Leaderboard shows roughly one in ten outputs is wrong on a task as simple as summarizing a document.- A five-step, 30-minute verification process you can run on almost any claim before you repeat it.- Where source verification sits in The 7 Levels of AI Proficiency (it defines Level 3, the Critical Thinker) and why that is the level every working professional should be reaching for in 2026.- Three things to do this week to protect your own credibility. This is not an anti-AI episode. Harrison uses these tools every day. It is about the difference between trusting a tool blindly and trusting it after you have checked. That second posture is what separates an amateur from a professional whose name is on the line.Want to know where you stand? The 7 Levels of AI Proficiency assessment is free and takes 10 minutes: assess.launchready.aiHarrison PainterExecutive AI AdvisorLaunchReady.ai. Further. Faster.

The episode includes comments from comedian Max Amini on cultural change in Iran, his path into comedy, and how social media helped his popularity. A review of Hannibal Buress' Charlottesville show notes political material and sparing onstage audiovisual elements. Jeff Dunham is back and joins Adam for a wide-ranging conversation. They talk about how their careers have far exceeded their expectations and Jeff describes showing up to Los Angeles with 4,000 dollars and a trunk full of dummies. They then dive into Adam's recent phone call with Jerry Seinfeld about their viral “We Might Be Drunk” clips and then they follow that up with some old-fashioned car talk. They finish by talking about their old late night appearances. This was a blast. IMDB Synopsis: “Follows an aspiring actress working on a U.S. military base that simulates an Iraqi war zone.” Mercy (2026; Timur Bekmambetov) GRADE: C- *Now playing everywhere. IMDB Synopsis: “In the near future, a detective stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge he once championed, before it determines his fate.” It’s a new year and a new podcast for world-famous film critic Daniel Barnes! Known for his provocative yet family-friendly brand of humor, Daniel brings along his beloved cast of puppet characters, including grumpy old man Walter, the irascible Achmed the Dead Terrorist, and Bubba J, a stereotypical NASCAR enthusiast…oh wait, that’s ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. Daniel Barnes is just a guy who reviews movies. This week, Daniel offers his Single Take on Alia Shawkat in Atropia, an overstuffed yet underdeveloped satire about an ambitious actress role-playing revolutionaries in elaborately staged war games. He also looks at Mercy, a sci-fi whodunit starring Chris Pratt as a cop-on-the-edge trying to find “the real killers” before artificial intelligence seals his fate. Listen along as Daniel begs mercy for January unicorns, CD-ROM murder mysteries and 20-year-old The Daily Show jokes. Read more of Daniel's reviews at Dare Daniel and Rotten Tomatoes, and listen to Daniel on the Dare Daniel & Canon Fodder podcasts. Keep checking back for more episodes of Single Take with Daniel Barnes. The post Single Take with Daniel Barnes – “Atropia” & “Mercy” appeared first on Dare Daniel & Canon Fodder Podcasts.

In an episode inspired by a game review code we received, Andrew returns alongside Ben, who's been buying a single movie multiple times for SOME reason. Ben has given up on “Sucky Assassin's Creed” for now, but he sees promise in an “FRPG” game he's been playing recently. Andrew has been doing something incredibly constructive with his pent-up frustration from the consistent misrepresentation of autism by the Department of Health and Human Services; he's also been working on constructing a companion deck of cards for his ADHD book. Next, they think about their oddly numerous and influential puppetry-related experiences in their lifetimes. The Good Brothers are back with one of their worst episodes, folks. Liste,n they can't all be winners. Sometimes the boys are throwing their fastball, and other times they just end up talking about American Idol and America's Got Talent for 30 minutes. These are the risks you have to take when you listen to The Good Brothers Show. We wish they could all be winners, but that's just not possible. Sometimes, a trailer for Masters of the Universe is played at the beginning of the episode, which leads you to Jeff Dunham, and then somehow you end up watching Susan Boyle's British Got Talent audition. This stuff happens. The fans wanted this, though. thegoodbrothersshow@gmail.com Follow us on Instagram & Facebook @thegoodbrothersshow

TODAY: We review the bizarre new "holiday" special from the scrooged-up (racist) mind of Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. We marvel at the special's bizarre premise: a 1-hour setup for a Jeff Dunham Christmas Carol... that will supposedly happen next year. We enter the child-like minds of Jeff and his audience to analyze his and his audience's sometimes unsuccessful attempts at racism and anti-gay bigotry. And we meet a new, semi-professional ventriloquist dummy which by all accounts seems to be a quality product available for purchase this holiday season.
