It's Thursday, May 2nd, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark May 2, 2024 is National Day of Prayer Today is the National Day of Prayer as designated by the U.S. Congress. Global Christian Relief is calling on Christians to pray for their persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Hundreds of millions of believers still face attacks, arrests, and imprisonment for their faith. The Christian aid group is hosting a Facebook livestream prayer event today and sharing a free prayer guide. Both are linked in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com. Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” 10 million babies killed in United Kingdom The U.K. Abortion Act went into effect on April 27, 1968. Since then, over ten million unborn babies have been killed through abortion in England, Scotland, and Wales. Abortions have risen in England and Wales, in particular, since the introduction of ‘DIY' home abortions in 2020. Pro-life Kansas legislature overrides Democrat Governor's vetoes In the United States, Kansas lawmakers overrode Democrat Governor Laura Kelly's veto of multiple pro-life laws on Monday. The bills expand tax credits for adoption and pregnancy centers and continue $2 million in funding for pro-life centers. One of the bills makes it a felony to use physical or financial threats to coerce a woman into getting an abortion. However, state lawmakers failed to override the governor's veto of a transgender-related bill. The measure would ban mutilating drugs and surgeries for minors. Marjorie Taylor Greene vs. House Speaker Mike Johnson U.S. House lawmakers are trying to oust the Speaker of the House again. Yesterday, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia announced she will force a vote to remove Republican Speaker Mike Johnson next week. Greene criticized Johnson for supporting Ukraine funding and U.S. surveillance programs. Only one other House Republican supports the ouster. And Democrats said they would not vote Johnson out presently. Anti-Israel college protests vs. Liberty University's pursuit of God Last month, student protests broke out at campuses around the country in support of Palestinians during the Israel-Hamas war. Authorities have arrested protestors at over 20 colleges. New York police arrested nearly 300 people alone this week, including over 100 at Columbia University. The academic lawn of the largest Christian university in the U.S. made for a contrasting view last week. Students at Liberty University gathered to worship, sing, and hear the Word of God. Jonathan Falwell, the university's chancellor, wrote, “While so many college campuses are erupting in anger, hatred and violence; it is refreshing to see Liberty University students worship King Jesus.” United Methodist Church affirms sexual perversion On Tuesday, the United Methodist Church voted in favor of sexually perverted lifestyles. The denomination no longer prohibits funding for groups that promote such lifestyles. They will also consider homosexuals for ministry and allow ministers to perform homosexual ceremonies. The United Methodist Church has faced division over these issues for years. Between 2019 and 2023, over 7,000 congregations left the denomination. Many joined theologically conservative denomination called the Global Methodist Church. 130 tornadoes hit Midwest Over 130 tornadoes tore across the Midwest last week, killing at least five people. Nebraska's National Weather Service in Omaha issued 48 tornado warnings in one day alone. One Nebraska man, Nate Hutchison, survived an EF-3 tornado that tore through an industrial building in Lincoln. He told KLKN-TV he prayed to God as he and 70 others hunkered down. HUTCHISON: “There's nothing I can do right now, except literally pray to God that I don't die, because I'm not in control of anything at this point. It's just literally hopefully I just don't get crushed.” Anniversary of Athanasius And finally, today marks the anniversary of the death of Athanasius in the year A.D. 373. Athanasius of Alexandria was an early church theologian. He is known for his stand for biblical teaching on the divinity of Christ. The church's first ecumenical Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325 affirmed this teaching. Many church leaders and emperors would continue to embrace Arianism which taught that Jesus was not eternally divine. However, Athanasius stood for the truth, risking his life many times. For this reason the epitaph on his grave is said to have read, “Athanasius contra mundum,” meaning “Athanasius against the world.” John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Close And that's The Worldview in 5 Minutes on this Thursday, May 2nd in the year of our Lord 2024. Episode 210 breaks down past civilizations and global resets. Known to many as the act of depopulating, or the state of being depopulated; reduction of the population; destruction or expulsion of inhabitants. To reduce sharply the population of, as by disease, war, or forcible relocation. We're taught the concept of “history repeating itself,” so we'd be naive to not study history that has been given to us. Past civilizations such as the Canaanites, the Egyptians, the Ancient Greeks, the Incas, the Mayans, the Persians, the Sumerians, etc. When you examine the commonalities of these past civilizations and their eventual demise, you will see many commonalities to today's worldwide societies and so-called “superpowers.” We see commonalities such as democide, false flags, genocide, and war. Mix in so-called pandemics based upon bogeyman diseases, then you have a perfect mix of evil. Not to mention, the continued poisoning of the air, foods, water, soil, etc. Antibiotics, medications, and vaccines along with abortion, have all been useful tools of global resets and depopulation. We are living through a reset today, with the hoax pandemic and the antics that those in power are willing to use. We are being depopulated in plain sight. History surely has a way of repeating itself. We die for lack of knowledge. Today we're demolishing the myth of overpopulation, the basis for the "anti-natalist" movement that says that people shouldn't have kids for the good of humanity. We look at the history of this worldview and why people are so convinced that overpopulation is a serious threat to humanity. This type of thinking has wound its way through some of the worst ideologies in history, from actual white supremacists in America to the Nazis and then to Planned Parenthood. However, the threat of overpopulation is far from fact; it's just a theory that has already been debunked by history. Nevertheless, this theory has taken hold of many people, inspiring them to view children and family negatively. Many of the most influential and wealthy people in the world think this way too, and they're moving mountains of money to organizations that match their ideology. But, as we'll discuss and back up with biblical and historical evidence, having kids is a credit to the world, not a debit. Note: Thomas Malthus's name is pronounced Malth-us, not Malth-e-us. --- Today's Sponsors: Reliefband is 100% drug-free, non-drowsy & provides all-natural, long-lasting relief of nausea — with zero side effects! ▶️Ronald Reagan, in his farewell speech to the American people, stated the famous phrase that America was a “Shining City Upon a Hill". Although Reagan was actually quoting a 1630 sermon by the Massachusetts Bay governor John Winthrop, this phrase originally came from the mouth of Jesus Christ himself from the Bible in Matthew Chapter 5:14-16: ----- "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." ----- ▶️ The principles that built this nation upon this vision of America came from the Bible, and it has always been the Bible that guided America's beginnings and undergirded its foundation. America has never been perfect, or done what is always right in the sight of God, of course, as we see the effects of allowing full-bore Atheistic Evolution and Communist Ideology replacing the principles and teachings of the Bible from our schools, or the devaluing of life and sexuality to the point of murdering 65 Million Babies in the womb, which now turns out to always have been a form of Moloch/Baal sacrifice for Illum1n@ti Elites in the 'Temples of Doom' we ironically call "Planned Parenthood." ▶️But, the principles that have guided America for the last 2-3 centuries are still there at its CORE, and waiting to be REKINDLED by those who are willing to return to what actually Made America Great, if America just recognizes what its true IDENTITY really was, is and should be. Because if we don't, God will judge this nation hard and destroy it, because we have made a complete mockery of His great blessings upon this Republic. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUPPORT THIS SHOW:

Scientists paid Mexican women for artificially insemination, and then they killed their babies. President Trump signs a bill to put a kid in prison for 7 years for drowning a lizard. And, now scientists tell us that all those babies aborted over the last fifty years that weren't supposed to have felt pain. . . felt pain. What is the root issue- The fundamental problem is that public school kids, private school kids, and homeschool kids are not taught science in the fear of God. The consequences are tragic.

Since Roe vs Wade in 1973, there have been more than 60 million babies aborted in the US alone. This is such a contentious topic and is offensive to many. Eden Park has been forced to withdraw from holding the "Million Babies" LifePod Appeal concert. The Eden Park Trust announced this afternoon that due to time constraints and the prospect of substantial Environment Court costs, it has been forced to cancel the concert, planned for Waitangi Day.At the start of the week, the Trust's lawyers advised that the process to obtain a consent for the concert was likely to stretch beyond October and cost in excess of $750,000, not including The Trust's legal costs.Trustees then had a meeting and concluded that it is not viable for the stadium to continue with its application due to the likely costs and timeframe for court proceedings. The Trust hoped it could work with the minority who objected to reach an agreement for this one-off worthy event. This would have avoided the Environment Court process but unfortunately, that was not to be the case.Chief Executive Nick Sautner said, "Although we respect the process in place, to bring events like concerts to our stadium we also have to work in with promoters' lead times which include confirming the venue as well as securing ticket on-sale dates.""Unfortunately this time it was unworkable but we now look to the future to ensure this half a billion dollar asset can host unique and memorable events for the city."Plans for the Live Aid-style concert were announced by Sir Ray Avery, a former New Zealander of the Year, in the hopes of raising money in an effort to help save babies around the world.Avery wants to build enough LifePod incubators to save a million babies and the concert was the first step in raising the $4 million needed to make 2000 pods.Hundreds of people made submissions on whether the concert should be allowed to go ahead, with some local residents posting strong criticism, most notably former Prime Minister Helen Clark. The trust's application for the Million Babies event, lodged on June 6, said noise levels during the concert, between 7pm and 10.30pm on Waitangi Day, could exceed 75 decibels for about 30 houses west of Sandringham Rd and 80 decibels for another small group of houses near the northwest corner of the park.Consultation with the community included making its environmental planners, traffic, acoustic and lighting specialists available to address any concerns as well as bringing locals together through stadium tours, a 'Friday Family Fish 'n' Chips' evening and other events to inspire open conversation and share the recent independent research.LISTEN ABOVE AS ANDREW DICKENS SHARES HIS THOUGHTS ON THE EDEN PARK CHARITY CONCERT BEING CANCELLED

Every day, 7,100 babies are stillborn. A tragic, complicated problem, stillbirth—which the WHO defines as a baby born with no signs of life at or after 28 weeks' gestation—remains difficult to control and to assess. Some hospitals hide data on stillbirth, due to the shame and stigma associated with it. However, as White Ribbon Alliance CEO Betsy McCallon said at a recent Wilson Center event marking the 30th anniversary of the Safe Motherhood Initiative, stillbirth “had been hidden and neglected, but that is changing.” Distinguishing a stillbirth from a neonatal death can be challenging, particularly when the lack of a skilled birth attendant prevented adequate resuscitation. Despite the complexity, “we need to measure it,” said Barbara Kwast, one of the pioneers of the Safe Motherhood Initiative. While stillbirth was not included in the original SDGs, after strong advocacy by the international global health community and bereaved families, stillbirth is now part of the SDG’s Every Woman Every Child framework. UNFPA’s Petra ten Hoope-Bender cited a new “people’s movement” that is bringing “dynamism, new energy into that agenda.” To reduce the rate of stillbirths, Kwast urged the maternal health community to decrease the rate of birth asphyxia and to use a partograph to help make decisions during labor. “The international community has done an extraordinary amount of work around third stage [of labor] to prevent postpartum hemorrhage,” but now “we need to pay more attention to the first and second stages of labor,” where 50 percent of stillbirths occur.

Jane Chen’s Embrace, a laureate of the 2012 Tech Awards and winner of the 2015 Laureate Impact Award, is working to save 1 million babies over the next five years. Chen, who co-founded the nonprofit in 2008, explains why so many babies are at risk, “Each year, 15,000,000 babies are born preterm; 3,000,000 babies die in the first 28 days of their life. This is largely due to poor healthcare available in developing countries. Many of these deaths are preventable. Unfortunately, a prevalent number of hospitals simply cannot afford the high cost of current incubators and are in dire need of a low cost alternative. In addition, many of these births occur in rural areas, where electricity may not even be an option so a sustainable solution is needed.” Enter Embrace and its for-profit affiliate Embrace Innovations. “We have created a low cost, sustainable infant warmer that keeps preterm babies at an optimal body temperature. It works without constant need of electricity, making it ideal for rural areas in developing countries and has already saved over 150,000 babies. In order to help save more babies and reach our 1,000,000 baby goal, we have created a unique line of baby products for the US market called Little Lotus, which incorporate a proprietary NASA inspired fabric to keep babies at an optimal temperature, helping them rest better. We have a 1:1 model – every Little Lotus product purchased helps to save a baby in a developing country with the Embrace infant warmer,” Chen says. Chen is already making great progress toward her vision of a world where preterm babies don’t die for a lack of basic care. She says, “We envision saving millions of preterm babies worldwide with the Embrace infant warmer and through the 1:1 model with Little Lotus. We are also working on launching more innovative products to bring to the market to help reduce infant and maternal mortality.” Read the full Forbes article and watch the interview here: http://onforb.es/1QuFYtd.
