Story of this episode: It was a cold morning in July 2020. A crew manning a 46ft boat saw a group of killer whales swimming towards them. They waved towards the friendly orcas, whom they had met many times before. But the orcas were in no mood for a friendly chat. They rammed the boat in full force, chewed pieces of its rudder and pushed the boat around, nearly 180 degrees.As the crew panicked and radio-ed the Coast Guard for assistance, the Coast Guard were unsure if they heard their cries of 'Orca attack. Help!', correctly. Orcas attacking people, when unprovoked, was unheard of till then. After a while, the orcas lost interest in hitting the boat, and went their way. The boat's crew were unhurt and the boat had to be towed to a nearby port in Spain. Since then, more than a dozen boats and ships have been attacked by orcas in the same neighbourhood. Charles (Chuck) Mund was born and raised in Southern Wisconsin. At the age of 18 he decided to join the Navy and enlisted on April 19th, 2005. After completing Boot-camp he was sent to Meridian, MS for AZ A-School. Soon after he checked on board to Fleet Readiness Center SE in Jacksonville, FL. His second duty station was with the Tridents, Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Three, working with the SH-60F and HH-60H Helicopters, deploying with the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in 2008 for a 7-month Deployment. While embarked he spent time on the USS San Antonio (LPD-17) performing Anti-Pirate operations in the Gulf of Aden. After Deployment, HS-3 was decommissioned and became Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Nine in Norfolk, VA and embarked on the USS George Bush (CVN-77) doing multiple detachments working towards Carrier Qualifications. He then transferred to the Chargers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Six in Norfolk, VA and performed two separate 6-month tours of duty in Juffair, Bahrain. After, he returned to Jacksonville, FL to Patrol Squadron Thirty where he became qualified Safe for Flight with the Boeing P-8 Poseidon and donned the uniform of the Chief Petty Officer. He now resides in Bremerton, WA stationed on board the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) working in Production Control the AIMD Department. Chuck, Became a team member in the spring of 2018, as our Lead Custom apparel designer, hitting the ground at full speed, he creates truly one of a kind works of art specifically formulated fabric. Understanding how the fabric takes the color and specializing in that one medium has enabled him to truly kill some amazing one of a kind works of art. Here at Pitch and Rudder, we don’t do semi-custom shirts. We don’t have a catalog of previous designs that you can mix and match to create your shirt. We sit down with you either by email, phone or most effectively by ZOOM and have a creative meeting to hammer out your one of a kind design. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. 3. God sets the expectation for how the power should be used. James 3:9-10 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 4. You can’t please God and please the World; you make a choice. James 3:11-12 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water. Matthew 12:33-37 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
