Amy provides first hand reports of migratory striped bass arriving here on Cape Cod in good numbers. She has seen and heard reports of schoolie sized fish and keeper sized fish on the south side. Carlo ci racconta lo stato dell'arte, le trattative con le istituzioni, la speranza che venga concessa una proroga, senza tralasciare cenni alla bellezza prodotta in dieci anni di attività e ai motivi che fanno sì che valga la pena di continuare a lottare per SCUP. Dr. Bajer-Molnár Orsolya végzettségét tekintve evolúcióbiológus, akit a kutatás mellett szenvedélyesen érdekel az oktatás is. Mesterdiplomáját az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetemen szerezte 2007-ben, Evolúcióbiológia-Ökológia-Szisztematika szakirányon. Öt évvel később ugyanott védte meg doktori címét Viselkedésökológiából és Evolúcióbiológiából. Ezt követően az Egyesült Államokban folytatta munkáját egy Dartmouth College (NH)-be kapott ösztöndíj keretein belül, ahol a klímaváltozás élettani hatásait kezdte vizsgálni, majd további két évig dolgozott az UFRN egyetemen Brazíliában. Hazatérését követően az újonnan megjelenő fertőzések evolúciós háttere kezdte érdekelni, melyen jelenleg is dolgozik a Nebraskai Egyetem (USA) és az MTA Ökológiai Kutatóközponttal együttműködve. Akadémiai karriere során mindvégig érdekelte a tudománykommunikáció és az oktatási technikák, kiváltképp a természettudományos tárgyak oktatásának témakörében. Doktori képzése alatt folyamatosan oktatott Állatrendszertant, a Dartmouth College-ben pedig megválasztották a Dartmouth College Posztdoktori Szövetség alelnökévé, ahol társasági eseményeket, konferenciákat és információs tevékenységeket célzó programokat szervezett, majd az UFRN-en tovább folytatta az alapképzéses és graduális hallgatók mentorálását és oktatását. Magyarországon a Duna International College vezető oktatójaként segítette kialakítani a Pre-Medical program tantervét, illetve aktívabb szerepet vállalt a tudománykommunikációban. Robert Sheeran assumed his duties as Vice President, Facilities at Xavier University in 2012 and is responsible for the operations of the physical plant. He served as Associate Vice President for Facility Management from 2002 -2012. Xavier’s Office of Physical Plant is responsible for the leadership in the planning and design of all new construction, major remodeling, maintenance and improvement on the 2.4 million square foot, 208-acre campus. Sheeran stewards the university’s physical plant resources and works with senior management to prioritize facilities investments to support Xavier’s academic priorities. He provides strategy input in facilities planning and decisions, and he guides the development, update and approval of the campus master plan and major construction activities. Sheeran has 40 years’ experience in managing commercial construction projects having held senior leadership positions with general contracting and construction management firms in Cincinnati. During that time, Sheeran served as Project Executive on a number of key building initiatives on the Xavier campus, including the Health United Building, Hoff Academic Quad, Alter Hall, Fenwick Place, Cintas Center and Gallagher Student Center. He is a member of APPA, SCUP and the AJCU Facilities groups and received the President’s Award for Excellence in 2011 from Xavier University. Sheeran has a B.S. Architectural Engineering Technology and B.S. Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati, and a MBA from Xavier University.

During that time she trained with Kirsten Sheridan, Shimmy Marcus, Lance Daly and Maureen Hughes during the one year Screen Acting Programme in The Factory (now Bow Street) and with the Gaiety School of Acting and the Focus Theatre. She is a member of The Actor’s Studio in Bow Street. Film credits include the features The Secret Scripture, The Truth Commissioner, How to be Happy, ANTON and Portrait of a Zombie (Winner of the 2013 Underground Film Festival’s Best Independent Feature award). Geraldine’s performance in Portrait of a Zombie led to her being long listed for an IFTA for Best Actress in a leading role in a feature film in 2013. Geraldine’s TV acting credits include the IFTA winning Red Rock and Cumann na mBan 100 as well as Scup and RTE’s children’s show Spooky Stakeout. Geraldine’s recent theatre credits include One Day by Dick Walsh, Remember to Breathe (Dublin Fringe 2015), Friendly Fire, Mary Stuart, Beyond Therapy!, Philidelphia Here I come!, and various characters in the longplay improv Spoonfed (Dublin Fringe 2005). Geraldine’s directing credits include the plays Orphans, The New York Monologues and The Cripple of Inishmaan and the short film Helmets and Thorny Island. Her writing credits include the tiny play Knowing (which was published and produced by  Fishamble’s Tiny Plays for Ireland) and the short films The Crack and Any Given Night (which she co-wrote). Her film production credits include Enough (selected for screening at the 2015 Corona Fastnet Short Film Festival). Geraldine is one of the two founding members of Alchemy 8 Productions whose production of Orphans was highlighted as one of the theatre highlights in Dublin for 2015. Geraldine can be seen soon in the new season of Striking Out   on Rte and in the upcoming feature films Zoo, Dark lies the island and Black 47. Invece, a Roma negli ultimi anni sport fa rima con speculazione.Basti pensare alle speculazioni collegate ai mondiali di nuoto e alle indagini che ne sono seguite. Vogliamo realizzare una dimensione sportiva che educhi alla sana competizione e alla solidarietà, accessibile a tutti. Lo sport popolare appunto. Vogliamo strappare uno spazio alla speculazione.
