Engaging in a solitary practice is fulfilling and deeply engaging for many witches. But sometimes it's really nice to pull a card, perform a ritual, or simply have a chat with a like-minded witchy soul. In today's episode, I share a special moment sitting by the ocean with my favorite witchy woman... my sister! The conversation explores her definition of what it means to be a witch, the power in finding your own special brand of witchcraft, and even the hidden opportunities for city witches. Enjoy a ramble through the woods and a detour to the beach in this very special conversation! In the October Cosmic Weather Report, host Julia Marie discusses the astrological influences and energies of the month. The theme for October is change, with many aspects fostering transformation. As the month begins it's a good time to let go of old patterns. The number eight, associated with October, carries the vibration of abundance and power. The month is marked by a pair of eclipses, which often bring unexpected changes. Lunar eclipses bring emotional cycles to the surface, supporting the release of emotions and attachments that no longer serve us. Solar eclipses herald personal growth, transformation, and insight. Other significant astrological events include Mercury moving into Libra, Mars conjunct the south node, Venus entering Virgo, and Pluto beginning its exit from retrograde motion. The report encourages listeners to stay open to the opportunities that October brings, and to use this time to release what no longer serves them.RESOURCES:My WebsiteMany thanks to Pixabay's Dream Protocol and Stars Above 95402 for the music bed for this episode.Thank you for listening to Evolving Humans! This episode will be different. This is the first time you will hear other voices than that of your trusted guide along the Way, Captain Frodo on this podcast. This is because for a year and a half there has been a collaboration cooking. Through the dark of the Scandinavian winter I had the distinct pleasure of going through an incredibly deep and all encompassing creative process with Jay Gilligan on his new and upcoming show REFLEX which opens in January 2022 in New York City.First you will hear me talk about the creative process and a major mind blower of a creative clincher we experienced in the second day of our three day intesive In Real Life creation in Stockholm Sweden. Then you will hear a collaborative recording made by Josh Aviner and Lydsay Magid Aviner. This power couple are the minds behind the Hidaway Circus Podcast and are also producers of the recent outdoor production Stars Above which toured america last summer and also of Beyond Babel, playing New York City at the time of writing this. It's these two superstars who's producing Reflex. The final voice is of the inimitable Jay Gilligan who is an extraordinarily deep thinker as well as a world class juggler not just of traditional juggling but he also puts ART back into the art of Juggling.I hope you like this side trek along the Way.REFLEX plays in New York City from 28th of January till 20th of February 2022 at THEATER MITU580 in Brooklyn NYC.Links:This is the website for the show where you can find all the info you need and its also a really cool looking site! You can buy tickets here. What a marvelous concept that is. On top of all that, we talk about what shoe works best with a wide cropped pant, what pajamas I'm renaming "loungewear" so I can wear them as actual pants, and what five things have become long-term favorites for me over the last few weeks. Basically what we have for you this week is good times aplenty. Except maybe that whole Kale Boss situation. Hope you enjoy! Become a Patron! The writer of Hebrews reminds us of those who have gone before us, and how they all pleased God because of their faith. Abel had a better sacrifice. Enoch was taken up and did not taste death, because of his faith. By Faith Noah believe what he had not seen and became an heir of the righteousness because of his faith. Abraham, by faith, obeyed by going out to a place, not knowing where he was going, but he believed. Sarah, by faith, believed she'd conceive a child, beyond child bearing age. Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, they all pleased God, because of their faith. Let's have faith today. Faith in God's word. Music by Scott Holmes, intro and outro (Corporate Uplifting) Theme music by, Alan Piljak, (Stars Above) and Livio Amato, (Night Lights)

This podcast is hosted and produced by Bethanie A. Finger; today’s special guest was Rebecca Baker. Our logo art was created by Angela Wong.
Imagine telling people about Christ. They come to the Lord and then later question everything you taught them. Paul finds himself having to describe himself, defend his apostleship, and then is given a thorn in the flesh to keep him humble. WOW! We should all examine ourselves to make sure we are truth to the one who called us. Christ. That we honor those who spread the gospel and give their lives for it. Intro and outro music by Scott Holmes (Corporate Uplifting) IMovie trailer music for two chapters Alan Piljak, Stars Above
Paul reminds us that whether present or absent, we should do all things that are acceptable to the Lord. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are to give no offense in any thing, that the ministry be blamed. We aren't to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Music by: Scott Holmes, intro and outro(uplifting) Theme music by Alan Piljak, Clouds and Stars Above
Paul shares what we are to do in marriage. How it is good to be married if you are tempted with the lust of your flesh. We are more concentrated on the Lord, when we are single. It is not bad to marry, but it is better for some to stay single, if that is their gift. They shouldn't be forced to marry because social looks at them differently. We should not seek to be separated, if we are married. The believing husband or wife could lead the unbelieving one to faith in Christ. Music by Scott Holmes, intro and outro, Corporate Uplifting. Theme music by Alan Piljak, Stars Above
Triple threat Tyler Nordgren and Beth talk about: Seeing the Great American Solar Eclipse in 2017 and what to expect when in comes back Why our National Parks are a treasure for our observation and appreciation Traveling the world in search of cosmic phenomenon About Tyler: Dr. Tyler Nordgren is a professional astronomer and artist. He holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from Cornell University where he did work on dark matter as well as a B.A. in Physics from Reed College. For over a decade he has worked with the National Park Service to turn the national parks into the single largest source for public science and astronomy education in the world. His popular science book “Stars Above, Earth Below: A guide to astronomy in the national parks,” reveals what visitors to America’s national parks can observe in their dark night skies. The color illustrations in this book include both his night sky photography as well as vintage-style “travel posters” he designed to help the public learn about and see the astronomical wonders in the sky. For the 2017 “Great American Eclipse” he wrote the book, “SUN MOON EARTH: The History of Solar Eclipses from Omens of Doom to Einstein and Exoplanets,” describing the vast array of social and scientific influences eclipses have had throughout history. Dr Nordgren also produced a series of 30 eclipse travel posters for communities, state, and national parks in the path of totality. These posters are being collected by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. In addition to the Smithsonian, Dr. Nordgren’s work has appeared at NASA Headquarters and the White House where he designed the poster for President Obama’s final White House Astronomy Night. In 2012, NASA’s Curiosity rover joined Spirit and Opportunity on Mars, each carrying sundials, or “Marsdials” which Dr. Nordgren helped design through his science and art. Dr. Nordgren also leads astronomically themed tours for various companies to see the beauty of the northern lights in Alaska, dark skies in the Grand Canyon rafting the Colorado River, and locations around the world following the shadow of the Moon to share the glory of a total solar eclipse with the general public. For most of us, bedroom rock stays locked away in the bedroom. Fortunately, that isn't the case for Amanda B. She shares a couple 10-plus-year-old shoegazey tracks that crisscrossed the Pacific Ocean and eventually got put to tape here in New York.
