Send us a texthttps://www.patreon.com/AdeptusRidiculoushttps://www.adeptusridiculous.com/https://twitter.com/AdRidiculoushttps://orchideight.com/collections/adeptus-ridiculousThe Tomb Kings are the long dead rulers of Nehekhara from thousands of years ago. Each city had several dynasties each with several kings and as such there are hundreds of kings vyeing for power now they have all risen from the dead. They would constantly wage war on each other to spread their influence across Nehekhara. The greatest kings ruled in Khemri, making it the biggest and strongest city in Nehekhara. Certainly the greatest ruler ever to grace the lands of Nehekhara rose here. Settra the Imperishable founded Khemri and conquered the entire land. He lived far longer than most before he eventually died. He was one of the last to be awoken by Nagash's spell, possibly due to his age, but he immediately took control of the kingdom back and commanded all others to return to their tombs. Each king had a pyramid built for them in the necropolis of their city, adorning it with fine statues they would use in the afterlife. Also buried with them is their kingly chariot and steeds waiting for the day they are called back to the world of life. The Tomb Kings are revived by the Liche Priests when they are needed to defend an area that Settra cannot get to in time. The loyal non-ruling sons of Kings, the Tomb Princes, were mummified and were raised as well.Support the show

Tomb Kings and Brettonia HYPE: Old World Development Diary by The Honest Wargamer
Carl eats cheese, Dayton promotes Canadian Tire, and Tristan gushes about Tomb Kings. Plus breaking news, tournament updates, and a lot of dick talk.
A History of the Tomb Kings (Part 1). The undead lords of Khemri, the Tomb Kings of Nehekhkara, are a staple of the Warhammer Fantasy world. They sweep across the dunes in skeletal chariots, backed by giant scorpions, terrifying Ushabti warriors, and the magnificent Hierotitans. Undead liche priests rain magical destruction on their enemies, while the Kings themselves smite foes with impunity. In forgotten lands, their enormous pyramids hold many dangers but promise riches to the brave and the foolhardy alike...Logo image: Settra the Imperishable, fanart by Daniel Knoblich https://www.artstation.com/artwork/N0KVJReferences, images, and more information at https://www.egyptianhistorypodcast.com/the-tomb-kings/ Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Nathan breaks down the latest Warhammer: The Old World dev diary on the Tomb Kings and speculates on some important information within! As a bonus, he's not even grumpy about this article!
Ladies and gentlemen, Goblins of all ages, we finally have some Old World news. Well, Old World concept art. But one of those is a lovely Tomb Kings chariot which inspired GJ to take a deep dive into the chariots of the Undead and Tomb Kings, whether they are made of bone, wood, or reanimated manticores. So grease your axles, harness your skeletal horses and sharpen your scythes: The Tomb Kings ride to war!
Bud is back for the Slambo recap we've all been waiting for! Tristan rolls out the red carpet for his very own Tomb Kings battletome. And Dayton gets ganged up on while discussing the DOK updates that are obviously super balanced and don't make them outrageously better than they already were.

Episode 21 - Hobbyist Highlight - Dan Brewer In this episode we interview special guest, Dan Brewer. Many of you will already know Dan from the Australian tournament scene and from his many guest spots on other podcasts and youtube channels. A naturally adept gamer, Dan recently won the South Australian Grand Tournament in Adelaide and he has claimed many top 10 spots over the years, with frequent 2nd placings (earning him the title “The Bridesmaid”). However, there’s a deeper side to Dan which overtakes his gaming prowess and sustains him - his love for the hobby. Dan’s true Warhammer passion is painting and curating his beloved Tomb Kings and Skaven armies. We talk to Dan about how he got into the hobby, why he chose these armies, what inspires him and what informs his hobby. We also discuss his various painting techniques and methods and learn more about his hobby journey, with some sage advice for budding painters. Hi, in this episode of CanHammer Chris is joined by Ron and Jon and they discuss everything about the Tomb Kings army book. They also cover what they have been up to this month. Now during this show there is a tiny bit of static and Ron decided to drop out because of it. He will be back next episode as he was missed through the second half of this one. Also a reminder that Jan 1st, 2013 we are having a painting challenge on our forums for people interested in getting an army painted.
