The gang discusses some fond memories of the Flash-based legend and how it could possibly work on the Switch.  To end the Podcast, Jordan talks a bit about Nartia Boy; the new indie, side-scrolling hack n' slash that looks like TRON meets Blasphemous. While Jordan thinks it does a lot of things right, there's a lot of places where you can see it could have been better. It was lit. We also put together a little episode me and J recorded earlier this week, and (DRUM ROLL PLEASE) - WE GOT A DOPE MF GUEST!!!! Alright so we chopped it up with The Professor, and if you don't know who that is I need you to go search his name on Youtube RIGHT NOW. Dude is a bonafide STREETBALL LEGEND who came to fame after winning the And 1 Mixtape Tour way back when. We asked him about his whole come up from NOT MAKING VARSITY, to riding the bench at a JUCO to almost MAKING THE NBA! He really has an INSANE story, but the guy also knows a lot about hoops. He broke down the best ball handlers ever like Allen Iverson and Kyrie Irving, but that was only the half of it… He then told us about MEETING LAMELO BALL when the kid was still in Elementary School!!!! Professor said LaVar was actually a legit coach way back when and we agreed he does all his antics for the cameras. You won't believe what he had to say about Young Melo, Gelo and Zo though. Sh*t was bananas. Yeah, I'm wack and not even gonna tell you. You just gotta download the damn podcast and listen to find out… Alright, time to go eat more leftovers. Peace Y'all

Hosts Christina and Jordan Artis pick up the conversation from the previous episode. Jordan and Christina candidly open up about the challenges they faced when they actively started trying to conceive a child, and their experience starting fertility treatments.   From the stress of lovemaking to the anticipation each month followed by the disappointment of Christina getting her period, Jordan and Christina share the emotional roller-coaster they were on in trying to get pregnant. Things were also tough when it came to confiding in friends and sharing information about their fertility treatments. Jordan and Christina reveal how they navigated those situations, and how difficult it could be at times. They also talk about their experience with the fertility drug Clomid, and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) — with a plot twist.   Welcome to Infertility Unexplained.   Key Takeaways: [:33] Picking up from where they’d left off in the previous episode, Jordan and Christina share some of the challenges they faced when they started actively trying to conceive a child. [5:18] The next step was to have a sit-down with a doctor to explore their options. [7:45] While Jordan and Christina were trying on their own, they experienced a roller coaster of emotions, in terms of the anticipation each month, followed by the letdown and disappointment. [11:17] Jordan and Christina both knew they really wanted children from the beginning. [12:28] What were the meetings with the doctor at the fertility clinic like? [19:59] Christina describes starting treatments with Clomid. [22:10] The next step was to combine Clomid with Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). [25:58] Christina talks about the experience of having to share in her friend’s joy about being pregnant while struggling to get pregnant herself. [29:30] When you’re trying to get pregnant, it seems like everyone else in the world is pregnant. [31:04] Christina’s pregnant friend had a baby shower just after her last medicated IUI session. [32:06] Even after Christina and Jordan had started fertility treatments, they had not shared this information with many people. [38:05] Different people in your life will try to support you in the way that they know how. It may not always be what you need. [43:14] Infertility is a medical condition. [44:59] If you are going through this journey, you will have to do what you need to protect your sanity and that can look different for each of us. [48:19] Why were the stakes so high for the last IUI that Christina and Jordan went through? [52:20] Christina and Jordan talk about their experience with their final IUI.   Mentioned In This Episode: Infertility Unexplained Email Christina and Jordan — infertilityunexplained@gmail.com Follow Infertility Unexplained on Instagram @Infertility_Unexplained Clomid

It was a seminal moment when the UK foreign secretary, Dominic Raab first raised the prospect just over a month ago that 2.9 million Hong Kongers could be eligible for UK citizenship. The move was in response to proposed legislation which made it a criminal act in the territory to undermine Beijing’s authority; legislation which has now been passed. China reacted swiftly to undermine the UK’s offer and to challenge its credibility, even threatening countermeasures. But for many who were Hong Kong residents before the handover in 1997, it has offered them a way out in the face of an encroachment on their democratic freedoms. Grace Tsoi reports from Hong Kong where, she amongst others, may face a difficult choice. Borders have been reopening across Europe in recent weeks, and from tomorrow, Britain is offering quarantine free travel to 59 different countries – a move not reciprocated by all. But visitors to European cities will find it a somewhat changed experience. In Germany, tourist attractions may have re-opened but there are still restrictions. But as Grace Banks in Berlin found, those who rely on tourists for their living are desperate for them to return. Across the Middle East all eyes turned to the sky last month for the partial solar eclipse. But next week the citizens of the United Arab Emirates will turn their attention to another celestial body; the Red Planet, as the country launches its most challenging space project to date. It’ll be the Arab world’s first interplanetary mission and is due to reach the orbit of Mars in February next year. And as Georgia Tolley reports from Dubai, space has caught the imagination of the country. Tipping is an important American custom – but foreigners often find it awkward and confusing. Is it simply something you have to do or is it a case of rewarding good service when you think it was worth it? Helier Cheung tells us about her difficulties navigating tipping culture as a Briton in America – and how the pandemic helped her change her opinion of the practice. While Jordan appears to have weathered the coronavirus pandemic so far with a tiny number of reported deaths, it had a very strict lockdown which hit the economy and livelihoods hard. That was eased five weeks ago but Jordan had already suffered years of sluggish growth and high unemployment, even before the pandemic. And life is now harder than ever. But as Charlie Faulkner reports from Amman, the past few months have given more time to those who indulge in one of the country’s popular hobbies, owning and flying pigeons. Citizen’s Guide To The Supernormal - Episode 24 – La Llorona: Ladies in White, Period Jokes, and Sassy Snakes https://allmylinks.com/sargethedestroyer Welcome back to The Citizen’s Guide To The Supernormal blog. In this episode we cover a weeping woman from South America who lives by water and steals your children, like an aquatic Madonna. We have a special guest, @its_me_your_mom or Ms. Tiffany if you’re nasty. Anyway, this story is crazy for a number of reasons but none of those reasons explain the snake tangent I went on. We also talk about Banshees which is like if Yoko Ono was a harbinger of death and not just the harbinger of Paul McCarthney’s worst music. Wings sucks and you can’t convince me otherwise. Anyway, while recording this episode, we discovered that Tiffany shouts a lot when she’s having her monthlies, Jordan is a loud eater, Maynerd’s cats think they’re parrots, and I suck at rolling my Rs. Oh and I guess there’s like 14 different countries that have a similar story to La Llorona which is a lot of places to have a shared folktale considering they all came about before the interwebs. While Jordan is a die-hard skeptic, I like to think that La Llorona is a manifestation of a shared fear of women in white dresses which is why it took so long for George Clooney to get married. That’s it from me, please enjoy the show and tell us what you think. If you can spare a dime or more than a dime, hit up the link at the top of the page so we can afford to keep making penis jokes. You’re never going to be 100% sustainable. Even when you feel like you’re 100% sustainable, you can always be more efficient. Jordan Morgan is an actor from the town of Truman, Arkansas. Jordan's performing experience began as a member of his church choir, and he also acted in plays there. While Jordan enjoyed acting, he had always considered it an after-school hobby. As he prepared to apply for college, he toyed with the idea of law school or a career in medicine, but never gave a future as a performer any serious thought. During his freshman year of college, Jordan discovered Shakespeare, and decided he would give more consideration to exploring acting. After his roommate decided he was leaving for California, Jordan made the decision to head to L.A. with him so that he could  give acting a chance  while still mainly focusing on what he considered a more "safe" career path. Before long, Jordan found himself  too caught up in a new L.A. lifestyle, and got himself into some serious legal trouble. Jordan took the experience as a wake-up call. Starting at square one, he seized the opportunity to learn, grow, and to really go after what he truly wants in life. Full show notes available at http://ktla.com/spokendreams.

What role has your intuition played in your development as an artist? Have you always followed it or has it been a struggle to give yourself that permission? My guest, Jordan Wolfson has embraced his intuition and followed it down some fascinating creative corridors. In our conversation, Jordan opens up about how he got started as an artist, what his process looks like, the contrast between language and art, how he honed his skill set, and so much more. I can’t wait for you to get a glimpse of Jordan’s fascinating perspective! Wandering in the dark and finding a path forward. Can you think back to the start of your career in art? Did you have a clear moment when you knew that this was what you wanted to dedicate your life to or was it more of a gradual awakening? The way Jordan Wolfson tells it, his path into an art career was more of a discovery than an actual experience or decision. For the longest time, Jordan had a deep desire to spend time painting and he’s kept following that desire which led him through college and into his career today. Looking back, Jordan speaks fondly of the studio classes he took during his undergrad at UC Santa Cruz. During that time, Jordan felt like he had fallen in love with the craft of painting. Do you have a similar story, what set you on your path? Honing the craft. As an artist you are constantly honing and refining your craft, let’s face it, you never truly, “Arrive.” This process can look different for each of us and a lot of benefits can be found when we take the time to hear each other's stories. Jordan Wolfson’s story is no different, he has several stories to tell of renowned artists like John Walker and Andrew Forge who entered his story at critical times in his development to challenge and encourage him in his work. Listening to Jordan, you really get the sense that he knows that he has a lot to learn even though he’s quite accomplished! Can you really follow your intuition? Which is more important to follow, your training or your intuition? Do you have to choose between the two? In my experience, if you want to follow your intuition, you’ve got to develop an ear for it as you progress in your career. If you are constantly ignoring your intuition, eventually it’ll fade into the background. Jordan Wolfson describes following his intuition as tracking down a glimmer of light or thread to see where it came from and where it’s leading. While Jordan is quick to emphasize the influence of his art school training, he also points to this cultivation of listening to his intuition that has had a huge impact on his artwork over the years. Clearing the mind and getting centered. What are some of the most important aspects of your creative process? Do you have certain rituals that you follow when you enter your studio space and approach your canvas? For Jordan Wolfson, his process starts with a morning practice of sitting and meditation. He places a lot of value on being present in mind and body before he proceeds with his work at the canvas. Its Jordan’s hope that this deliberate practice of presence and centering his mind have a direct impact on his artwork. Take a look at some of the images of his art located at the end of this post and see for yourself! Outline of This Episode [3:20] I introduce my guest, Jordan Wolfson. This week we were joined by a terrific guest from Southeast Georgia. Jordan Barnes is perhaps best known for his webshow, Close Proximity TV, where he chases gobblers all over the country on both public and private tracts of land. Jordan is clearly passionate about the outdoors and is willing to take time out of his busy schedule to help others enjoy the outdoors as well. While Jordan is too humble to admit it, continuously killing turkeys with a bow, on camera, self filmed, without a blind is truly amazing.  We have a goal of reaching 50 reviews on iTunes and we would love your help. If you haven't already, leave us a rating and review, and if you send me a screen shot and a mailing address I will send you a CTO decal as a thank you.  Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, as well as our closed listener group Chasing Tall Tales!  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa3HZ1DmisR4Fy-CQ3rn4Kwhttps://www.facebook.com/closeproximitytv/ https://www.instagram.com/close_proximity_tv/?hl=en

Hey guys, start your weekend off right with a throwback to episode 2 of the Pump Up The Ham show, with special guest @breadery. It's a truly international production spanning 3 continents. We tackle the big issues such as, how bread's wifi is run by a hamster in wheel, and finding out that a stern british newsreader wearing jeans and sanding a boat between news stories would tear bread's family apart. Nige channels the spirit of Jimmy Stewart (albeit not very well) And we also breakdown the greatest inventions that our grandparents thought were were really good ideas. While Jordan introduces us to Daniel Lambert, the steam powered man who stole our hearts. All this and much more ridiculousness is waiting for you here at the ham factory. So grab some honey, pre-heat the oven and get ready to glaze your ears as we Pump Up The Ham.
