We all know change is hard. It makes us feel uncomfortable. It can be a little scary. But change can also be a good thing. Change can be growth. And in the end, we don't always get to choose when things change. So what does it take to navigate all of the transitions that life throws at us when they seem to be coming more rapidly than ever before? How do we embrace change, develop, and grow? Our guest today is Jordan Gross, an author and Mental Health Therapist on a mission to re-imagine personal development — and make it more accessible to everyone.

Jordan Gross played 11 seasons as an Offensive Tackle for the Carolina Panthers. In his rookie season, he was a starting member of the Panthers team that made it to Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. In his final season (2011) he was selected for his third Pro Bowl. Today he is a farmer in Idaho and one of the happiest people we've ever met. Jordan joins Bob & Ben for a conversation about his career, the way the NFL has changed over the last few decades, what it's like to play in the Super Bowl, and how his early life in Idaho led him to the NFL and then back again. Jordan also discusses why he decided to walk away from professional football when he was still an All-Pro-quality player, the importance of mentoring and coaching young people, and why continuing to learn is fundamental to a happy life. You can hear Jordan alongside former teammate Jake Delhomme on their podcast Jordan and Jake, which is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast apps where you get The Road to Now. He just scored his first two NHL goals, he's the reigning AHL Defenseman of the Year, and this week Jordan Gross joins us! We talk about growing up in Minnesota, playing with his brother, and how he ended up at Notre Dame.
We are five more games into the season. The Preds started a five game road trip across western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. With an always strong Central Division, the Preds need to figure out their identity. We've seen line blenders almost each game and well known players such as Tolvanen, Carrier, Glass, and Fabbro getting scratched. They embody the "Smashville" moniker, but as Edmonton proved the other night, skill and speed are what make championship teams these days. Can the Preds figure out their identity before it's too late and find themselves on the golf course in April? Thanks for listening! If you enjoy the show, be sure to follow us on Twitter and subscribe to us on YouTube! Until next time, we'll see you on the ice!

Locked On Predators - Daily Podcast On The Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators earned an impressive and important 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames last night. On today's Locked On Predators, we'll have your complete game breakdown including our "one word" to describe the win over the Flames. We take a look at the last minute roster decisions head coach John Hynes made and discuss the performance of Milwaukee call up Mark Jankowski. One interesting stat from the contest last night is Nashville's time on ice. We'll tell you what those numbers may mean for the Predators game plan going forward. Another surprising roster move was not only the addition of defenseman Jordan Gross but also where he slotted in on the blue line. We'll break down his performance alongside one of Nashville's best players. There were strong showings by the big guys on the team, but we share who the real hero in last night's game was. Finally, we debate whether this win over Calgary could be the start of a season turnaround or whether it is more likely to be false hope for fans.BetOnlineToday's Episode is brought to you by BetOnline.
