Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced that it is expanding its global presence with a new office in Cork. The new location will serve as Proofpoint's international hub, creating more than 250 jobs in the next two years - with plans for ongoing, active recruitment and continued investment in the region. Tania is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Innovative Employee Solutions (IES), a nationwide provider of outsourced payroll and HR administrative services. A seasoned professional in the HR industry, Tania began her career in 1995 as a recruiter with TOPS Staffing, specializing in professional placements. In 1999 she was promoted to Regional Operations Manager, and assumed responsibility for training and auditing the company's 10 staffing locations throughout the Western Region. Tania joined the IES team in 2002, where she currently serves as a strategic member of the company's executive team. Her specialties and areas of expertise include: staffing management, training and development, employee relations, co-employment, and State and Federal legislative compliance. Tania has been a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) on both the national and local levels since 2003, and a member of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) since 2008, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors. Jane Cay grew up in Cooma, she went away to boarding school in Mittagong, her first ‘big girl' job was at IBM in Sydney, then she fell in love, with Oli, quit her job and moved her life to Cooma. In a way it was the beginning of the rest of her life as the Big Bird of BirdsNest, and it was a path she never envisaged.She moved her life to Cooma. Bought retail clothing shop, High Country Outfitters.In 2008 she took the business Online, everyone said she was crazy. Online wasn't a thing back then. The business grew and grew and grew, Jane and Oli had three children and life was busy. At some point Jane googled ‘How do I calm down?' and alongside a survey of staff, Jane was set off on a new trajectory of self awareness, that ultimately has seen her family owned business and Jane's leadership journey, go from strength to strength to strength.In 2017 BirdsNest came 4th in the BRW Great Places to Work Awards and then nest year Jane was awarded number one in the Top 50 People in E-commerce in Internet Retailing. Today we're going to delve into this journey, with a particular focus on Jane's journey of leadership and self awareness.

What makes a company one of the Best Places to Work in Wichita? To some its a company where employees feel like they can make suggestions that are taken seriously by leaders. To others its a business that allows flexible hours and has a family-friendly culture. To some it's a company that is generous with awards and recognition. The Wichita Business Journal, The Kansas Chamber and Cox Business presented the 2017 Best Places to Work Awards at a Thursday luncheon at the Hyatt. They recognized 38 companies that scored highest on employee engagement surveys.
