Cullen became inseparable from Optimus Prime, originating the character’s voice in the 1984 Transformers animated series and returning repeatedly across animation, games, and the live-action films. Season four adapts Lee Child's Gone Tomorrow and drops Reacher into an increasingly tangled political and intelligence conspiracy. Episode Summary After a misunderstanding turns Reacher into Philadelphia's most wanted man, he spends much of the episode doing what Reacher does best: escaping situations that should probably be impossible to escape. Meanwhile, Jacob, Tamara, and Plum recover the flash drive Anna mailed before her death, along with her phone, but their attempt to finally get some answers turns into a violent confrontation with Lila and Amisha. Jacob gets his first genuine opportunity to strike back at the people responsible for his sister's death. The recovered evidence also starts bringing the larger conspiracy into focus. A photograph connects Congressman Sampson to a disgraced Indonesian general, but Reacher suspects another person in the image may actually be more important to the mystery. Anna's phone also gives the group stronger evidence tying Lila directly to the killings. By the end, Reacher and Tamara's investigation leads them toward another confrontation while Jacob is taken hostage, leaving Tamara with a pretty awful decision to make. And this one definitely supports the subtitle vibe we were talking about: there's plenty of entertaining Reacher insanity here, but the season is getting increasingly dependent on everyone accepting some wildly convenient and increasingly ridiculous shit to keep the plot moving. Episode Summary Hal and John investigate a deadly shooting in an attempt to prove that an alien force was responsible, with their investigation increasingly pointing toward one of the Green Lantern Corps’ oldest mistakes: the Manhunters. The episode digs deeper into the mystery surrounding Rushville while separating Hal and John enough to develop both characters individually. Sheriff Kerry also reveals that she originally came from Gotham, quietly expanding the show’s connections to the larger DCU.And then the episode drops the considerably bigger comic-book bomb: Sinestro, played by Ulrich Thomsen. The imprisoned former Lantern is positioned almost like the show’s Hannibal Lecter, someone Hal doesn’t trust but may need because Sinestro understands both Hal and the threat they are facing better than almost anyone. Episode Notes S6E29-- Join us as we come Straight Outta Compton with Cleavon "Jinx" McClendon. He'll be in the house talking all things from Straight Outta Compton to Justified and beyond. Cleavon R. McClendon III was born in Los Angeles, California. Raised by a single mother, he grew up with a flare for the dramatics. Needing somewhere for her son to go during the summer months, Cleavon's mother enrolled him at Marla Gibbs' Acting Studio. It was there that he got bit by the “acting bug.” He had to be walked onto the stage in his first play when he was just 7 years of age. Cleavon's first acting job would be as an extra in Marvel's 1993 superhero comedy film Meteor Man, starring Robert Townsend, Marla Gibbs and a host of well known actors. Cleavon then moved on to Faith Acting Studios. It was there that a lady by the name of Ms. Felicia encouraged his mother to look into him acting professionally. It was during the showcase for Ms Felicia, Wendy Raquel Robinson and Tracy Coley's new acting school, All God's Children, that he was discovered by his first agent, Carolyn Thompson - Goldstein at Media Artist Group. He was just 10 years old. Cleavon followed Carolyn to her next agency at Amsel Eisenstadt and Frazier. During his time with AEF, he would land a recurring role on the 1997 sitcom The Good News, created by Ed Weinberger. In between one of the tapings of an episode involving a pet duck, Mr. Weinberger asked Cleavon if he could cry during a scene. Having never done it before, Cleavon said “I could try.” During the scene to Cleavon's astonishment, he let the tears flow. This only furthered his love for performing. In 1999 he would book a role in a feature film playing the role of Jamal Reed, the younger brother of lead actor Deon Richmond. Cleavon would continue to book roles in the industry such as: Malcolm in the Middle, The Bernie Mac Show, The Game, Girlfriends, Cold Case, 24, House of Payne and other shows. Nicole Ari Parker is stepping into the DC Universe. The actress, best known for her role in HBO's And Just Like That, has been cast in a recurring role in Lanterns, the upcoming HBO drama centered on the Green Lantern Corps. Parker will portray Bernadette, the mother of John Stewart (Aaron Pierre), one of the two central Green Lanterns in the series.HBO describes Bernadette as “formidable and tenacious,” a woman who has spent her life ensuring her family is not left behind. She is fiercely protective of her son, a trait that will likely shape John Stewart's journey in the show.The series follows John Stewart and Hal Jordan (played by Kyle Chandler), two members of the Green Lantern Corps, an elite intergalactic force tasked with maintaining order across the cosmos. Recommendability scores for Widows were very high, not only does it deliver on plot twists and heist tension but it is also a commentary on gentrification.
