From Pro Golfer to 500+ Retail Stores: The Sales-First Apparel Growth Playbook with Taylor Artman Want to get your apparel brand into retail accounts, even if you're not viral on Instagram or TikTok? In this episode of The Business of Apparel Podcast, Rachel sits down with Taylor Artman, founder of Surf & Turf Golf, to break down how he leveraged community, credibility, and relentless sales focus to grow into 500+ retail stores, with minimal paid marketing. Taylor shares the real story of going from pro golfer to building a course-to-coast apparel brand, starting with a private "speakeasy" style golf club that created demand for merch. You'll hear how Surf & Turf landed early elite pro shop accounts, why wholesale-first helped build long-term stability (even with cash flow challenges), and the leadership lessons that came from hiring too reactively, then rebuilding the team with the right roles and ownership. Taylor also previews Surf & Turf's 2026 initiatives, including an NIL program, PGA section sponsorships, and a private-label offering designed to help founders scale without getting crushed by sourcing mistakes. Jeromy Johnson, from Slutty Grace Podcast, partners with RGWT Podcast to host David Artman and Jason Clark. The fella's explore Christian universalism not as a fashionable doctrine or theological loophole, but as a coherent, compelling way of seeing God—one that only makes sense if Jesus truly reveals a God whose love is measureless, non-violent, and relentlessly restorative. They push back on dualism, punishment frameworks, and the “ticking clock” gospel (say the prayer before you die or you're done), and instead explore union, consent, and restoration—a God who doesn't “look away,” whose justice flows through love, and whose “aeonian” correction is about healing, not revenge. Along the way: early church fathers, time and eternity, “Dr. Evil vs Dr. Frankenstein” theology, parking-lot faith conversations, and a stunning story about meeting God at rock bottom—and wondering if that God is “allowed in church.”For more content like this, go to:https://afamilystory.org/Please rate, review, share, and SUBSCRIBE!Podcast intro and outro music by Wilde AssemblyJOIN our RGWT Subscriber-Based Community:https://afamilystory.audiencetap.com/qc/wU0gQoHxDxJoin A Family Story's Mailing Listhttps://landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/e2f4i4Join the Rethinking God with Tacos Facebook Group at:https://www.facebook.com/groups/godandtacosFollow Rethinking God with Tacos on Instagram at:https://www.instagram.com/rethinkinggodwithtacos/Follow Jason's personal Facebook page at:https://www.facebook.com/afamilystory.org/Follow Jason on Instagram at:https://www.instagram.com/jasonclarkis/ Follow Jason on X at: https://x.com/jasonclarkis Send a donation!!https://app.moonclerk.com/pay/36393kxxeh8

In this episode of The TRU Leader Podcast, special guest Bonnie Artman Fox tells us about her career journey from oncology nursing to becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist, emphasizing the importance of family dynamics in both addiction recovery and leadership. In her book, *How Did My Family Get in My Office?*, Bonnie explores how early life experiences shape professional behaviors, particularly for leaders with abrasive interpersonal skills. Her transition into leadership coaching highlights the value of self-awareness, linking family dynamics to workplace conflicts and illustrating how mentorship and therapy helped her grow emotionally and professionally. The book introduces the “4 R's of resolution” framework, which focuses on acknowledging emotional wounds, taking responsibility for past behaviors, maintaining respect and boundaries in difficult relationships, and fostering continuous personal growth. Bonnie's personal stories, along with real-world examples, show how self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and empathy can improve both leadership effectiveness and interpersonal dynamics. By managing polarities and understanding the impact of upbringing, leaders can foster healthier work environments, balancing candor and kindness in their interactions. Tune in today! Welcome back for a special episode T&J family! This week we have the privilege of sitting down with David Artman, author of Grace Saves All. We connected with David following our recent series on hell and want our listeners to hear what he has to say. One of the current voices for Christian Universalism, David lays out a thoughtful and Biblically compelling argument for the grace of God being sufficient for all to be redeemed. Whether you find this thought provoking or questionable, we believe you will walk away challenged. Enjoy! https://www.davidartman.net/
“For it logically follows that if God is all-good, all-knowing, and all-powerful, then God must also be all-saving.” Often dismissed as a modern feel-good theology, Christian universalism is an ancient, orthodox, and biblical theology that was expounded by early Christians and early church fathers. Artman brings much-deserved attention to this wonderful spirituality. In this conversation, David Artman shares that grace saves alone and goes to all. This inclusive approach to Christianity is variously called universal reconciliation, universal salvation, or perhaps most accurately, Christian universalism. David shares that the inclusive/Christian universalist approach is necessary because it offers the only Christian theology that successfully defends the goodness of God. In 1996, a young woman, Sharon Hammack was found murdered on the side of the road in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Around that time, 1994-1996, 11 other women were found murdered in the area under similar circumstances. In August of 2022, Detectives made an arrest in Sharon's case. Gary Artman, a truck driver from White Springs, Florida was arrested. He has not been connected to the 11 other murders in that area, but he was connected to another from 2006 in Maryland. Listen to this episode to learn a little bit more about this case, it is still an ongoing case, so there wasn't a whole lot of information available. Thank you for listening! Support the show

The Guys, being a certain age, do tend to move slower than they used to, but all were surprised that the biggest Bat-fan in the room was the last to see The Batman. And on the telly, no less. But even though Jay and Robbie had taken their turn in a previous episode to wax eloquently on the latest installment in the DC Universe, they thought it would be only fair to give Art a chance to share his take as well. Aside from his regret of not seeing it on the big screen, Art opens doors of insight on the movie, and you don't have to flip the switch in Shakespeare's head to hear it!

In this episode, Chris Tilling interviews David Artman, author of Grace Saves All: The Necessity of Christian Universalism (Wipf and Stock). Rich in exegetical claims, Artman boldly proposes that Christian Universalism isn't simply a possible option, but a necessity to adequately account for the goodness of God. Artman is not defending – to quote Brad Jersak in his foreword – a “sloppy pop-universalism that fails to proclaim Christ alone, the necessity of a faith response, or the reality of judgement”. Instead, today's guest aims to present something that is biblically compelling and theological orthodox. To teases out the claims, Chris Tilling walks through Artman's chapters on the bible, judgment, grace, hell, Revelation and more besides. The post David Artman – Grace Saves All: The Necessity of Christian Universalism first appeared on OnScript.
