Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, we're celebrating the Blurryface album wrap-up! From the carefully crafted track designs to the live show components, Blurryface is a sitting tension between persistent lies and resilient truth. It has also held plenty of core memories in the relationship I fostered with the band and sharing them with others. Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing “The Judge!” How far will the rabbit hole of temptation take us toward Satan (I mean, Blurryface)? How desperately do we need God? The answer to both, of course, is “yes.” Be sure to look up the EnTrench Podcast Group on Facebook, to join our community of local dreamers, add your insight, and get the latest updates! Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing “Fairly Local!” Tyler seeks to find truth through humanity's identity in Christ while Blurryface antagonizes his positive coping mechanisms: almost sounds like a novel, right? Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing the “Ride” music video! Josh's makeup builds on the vulnerability themes in Blurryface; meanwhile,Tyler and Josh literally work through their relationship with light and all of its symbolism. Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing “Ride!” An interesting verbal spar with Blurryface while venturing into an eternal existential crisis. #Relatable Be sure to look up the EnTrench Podcast Group on Facebook, to join our community of local dreamers, add your insight, and get the latest updates! Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing the “Stressed Out” music video! Similar to “Slowtown,” the video showcases the purity of childhood and nostalgia juxtaposed with Satan's–or Blurryface's–lies, which try to dampen adulthood with stress and insecurity. Be sure to look up the EnTrench Podcast Group on Facebook, to join our community of local dreamers, add your insight, and get the latest updates! Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing “Stressed Out!” The belief in our unlimited potential as children crashes into the mocking voice of adult cynicism throughout the lyrics, implying that the way God has made us could be incorrect–or perhaps that we've grown into someone unrecognizable... Blurryface. Be sure to look up the EnTrench Podcast Group on Facebook, to join our community of local dreamers, add your insight, and get the latest updates! Welcome to EnTrench: A Twenty One Pilots podcast! My name is Annah, and in this episode, I'm analyzing “heavydirtysoul.” Blurryface picks up where Vessel left off: doubts and spiritual warfare, while giving a nod to “Car Radio.” Be sure to look up the EnTrench Podcast Group on Facebook, to join our community of local dreamers, add your insight, and get the latest updates! Tyler from Twenty One Pilots talks about his recent fall on stage, the new tour, the Blurryface aftermath, wearing the ICON Beanies and more
Welcome to Cliquecast, a twenty one pilots podcast! It's the last three songs and there's not a Blurryface in sight! We have all the feels in this last part of breaking down the album Vessel (don't worry, we aren't done talking about this era yet). There's also alot of theorizing about The Outside music video since we were fed some teasers recently but still have not seen the video (Tyler and Josh please if you're reading this we BEG you to release it!). PS: Who's coming to karaoke night with us? PPS: Sorry, Justin, for all the bullying. Welcome to Cliquecast, a twenty one pilots podcast! (Apologies in advance for Michael's inconsistent audio) Blurryface? Dema? Banditos? Propaganda?? Yes, we're talking about Vessel! Listen to us break down the first three (3) songs of twenty one pilots first album as a record deal band. It didn't take us nearly as long as we thought it would to get through our notes but there's still alot of good stuff packed into this episode! It's both of our favorite album and we're so excited to talk about it we kept stumbling over our words. This is quite possibly the most popular album we've ever covered. For whatever reason, we have always thought this band was lame, despite the fact that we all secretly like their shit. So, we've decided to be brave and expose ourselves to the world. Sorry for being cringe but we actually think this band rocks. If you think Twenty One Penis is good too, you can go to coolclothes4guys.com and get sick merch. Both the guys from the band wear our stuff. And I know what you're thinking... Are these clothes just for guys? No, it's for all genders, not just guys. The clothes are cool, and there are 4 guys that do the podcast. It's not what you thought at first. The cool clothes are for everyone, not just the 4 guys. I hope that makes sense. The clothes are cool, and these 4 guys are really excited to offer them to everyone.
Multiple Grammy award winning and nominated mix and recording engineer, Adam Hawkins reflects on working on projects as varied as 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water by Limp Bizkit, P.I.M.P by 50 Cent, Thought Contagion by Muse and Twenty One Pilots' Blurryface. Most recently, he has been working on the stereo and Atmos mix of Avril Lavigne's new song, Bite Me. He explains how he approached the Atmos mix of the track, and why his immersive Genelec home studio setup is with him every step of the way.

TWENTY ONE PILOTS Before They Were Famous -- Twenty One Pilots' hits Stressed Out, Ride & Heathers blew up on online and their track Heathens would end up being featured on the Suicide Squad soundtrack. But before that, both members of the duo were raised in conservative religious households in Columbus, Ohio, and, at first, their parents didn't exactly embrace their passion for music. We've got the full story here for you on Before They Were Famous.
Kyas and Landyn struggle to record yet another episode because of exhaustion, and they also talk about the last half of Blurryface.

Join Kyas and Landyn in this brand new episode as they break down the first half of the classic album Blurryface from Twenty one pilots

Happy 2020 to all! In the first episode of the decade the girls discuss the sparse news including Baby Joseph's nursery photos, and the possible Jebby wedding. In the main portion of the show they discuss Blurryface and have also realized you can actually play snippets of the song without being sued! So kudos to Carlyn and Hannah for having one braincell between the two of them that usually is only sparked into usage by Patty.
We listened to Twenty One Pilots' Blurryface and Vessel for this weeks episode. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
A short rant about my favorite album. And some other random thoughts about being a good person.
Not all bands hit it out of the park right away…they need a few albums and a couple of long tours before things start to fall into place… Take the Red Hot Chili Peppers, for example…their career really didn’t start to blossom until their fourth album…same thing with Muse—at least in North America…they might have been playing arenas in Europe…but when it came to their fourth album, they were still playing clubs on this side of the Atlantic… Same thing with R.E.M...they had a strong cult following through four records before they were able to cross over into mainstream consciousness… And for The Black Keys?...it took until albums number six for them to have their big breakthrough… These success stories underscore the need for patience and foresight on behalf of record labels, managers, and everyone else associated with the welfare of a particular artist…if you honestly see potential, then you gotta play the long game, one that may stretch out over years… And then you gotta look at things from the artist’s perspective…is the band prepared to live through some lean and dark times on their way to some kind of success?... This brings me to Twenty One Pilots…they blew up with the “Blurryface” album in 2015…but before that were six years of really hard slogging when almost no one knew who they were…let’s get caught up on that part of their story, shall we?...
After a week's hiatus the guys are back to comment on all the drama that went on while they were gone. Dane's pretty sick of ugly pricks and he's not just talking about Projared, and Pete's got tips for proper wear of certain neck-centric accessories. Elsewhere, it maybe a week slow, but regarding a certain spiny animal the guys do still have a fast take. Finally, Dane discusses the convention that kept him away for the week and how Blurryface might be a little conceited.

Had a chance to sit down and talk to Tyler and Josh from Twenty One Pilots before their SOLD OUT show at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. I'll admit, I was kind of interviewing them as a fan - so excuse me if I'm a little deep with the questions, but these guys are GREAT! You'll find out in this interview that BLURRYFACE has a name, what's different on the BANDITO tour, some of the backstory of their new album TRENCH, and which member of the band has sneezed on stage? Check it out in an all new Riggs off the Radio podcast.

This week the adventure brings us to Dallas, TX where we join guest Chris "Blast" Johnson. We have done episodes on songs in this show before, but this week we break down the story that flows through an entire album. The album "Blurryface" was the first album in history to have every song reach gold status or better. So why do we love this story so much? What draws us into these vulnerable and honest songs by Twenty One Pilot?
Pat's off getting hitched so Mike and Dan are joined by Kamil, Kailey, and Kamil, the hosts of the brand new podcast, NEVER SEEN BEFORE. The Strike Team dives into erotic thrillers (BODY HEAT and AMERICAN GIGOLO) as well as JOHN WICK and BLURRYFACE from Grammy winners 21 Pilots.
With the Grammy's fast approaching, we discuss the unique myriad of performers slated to appear at this Sunday's award's show. We also couldn't help but notice that Nickelback wanted to put in their two cents (five cents?) on recent political issues in their new single Feed the Machine. Imagine Dragons' new single titled Believer is what we believe to be better execution of lyrics and sound. On top of everything, one of our favorite bands Twenty-one Pilots have ended the Blurryface era with a music video for the song heavydirtysoul. We're pretty hyped about that. Check out everything hypeable on our sophomore episode of Remixed!

Today's album, Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots, explores the many ugly heads of 'insecurity'. Fun times! But there's a catch... The artist (the author and musician) is very much a part of the tale, which leads to a rather -- wait for it -- "meta" plot-structure. Yes, that label, "meta" (as groan-worthy as it has become in pseudo-academic culture), adds a strong dimension to Blurryface. That being the case, starting at 1:34:55 we take some time to explore the use of "meta" elements in other pieces of music, as well as some common fallacies that have erupted from the word itself.
