In this episode hosts Katja and Silas talk about the importance of momentum and how to find momentum in your early career.
Rule 3, Befriend People Who Want the Best for You. As discussed in a previous episode, the people you choose to surround yourself with are very important.
Rule 2, Treat yourself Like Someone you are Responsible for Helping. If you are going to succeed in life, it's vital to take care of yourself first. All those times you've given your friends incredible advice, yeah, imagine how life would go if you took your own advice.
Introducing our new series covering Jordan Peterson's best selling book, "12 Rules For Life"In this episode, we discuss why this book, and then dive into chapter 1, "Stand up Straight with your Shoulder's back".
We had a great time interviewing Aidan Noonan about his journey and I feel like we had a few really good moments of extreme value for those listening. We took a bit of time to discuss what to do if you've reached a point where you have accomplished some/all of your goals and you are wondering what to do next as well.
Michael and I had a lot of fun with our first special guest, Garrett Richetto. Garrett is a good friend of mine whom I admire for his recognizable entrepreneurial accomplishments only in his mid-twenties. We spent time discussing many things revolving around the idea of living your twenties with intention and how he stays sharp. Noteworthy: We discussed Garrett's struggle throughout his younger days with dyslexia and how he overcame a truly big barrier. We hope you enjoy today's episode. Follow Garrett on Twitterhttps://twitter.com/GRichetto
We recorded this episode as a bit of a New Year's kick-off to help you set some targets for 2021. We believe that the differentiating factor between many happy people and many unsatisfied people is that happy people, invest in themselves. They pursue their interests, they practice good habits, they just put a general effort into who they are. Here, you will find some of the ways that we recommend investing in yourself. We hope you enjoy it.
Mike and I took a bit of time to recap our initial 10 episode series discussing our advice and methods to live your twenties with intention which results in a happier life. So, if you didn't listen to the entire series, give this episode a listen to hear the main points of each 10 episodes.
Beginning with the End in Mind is likely one of the most important factors in living a happy and fulfilling life. Through taking life on this way you will know what you are aiming for, which will result in a higher chance of actually accomplishing that, and will help reduce the anxiety that comes with having no direction in life. We started this podcast with the end in mind and we hope you can start to implement this ideology into your personal life.
Accountability and Routines are things that have drastically helped Michael and me throughout our lives and in this episode, we discuss how it can help you.
Many feel that rules limit them, but rules are what set us free. Deep down we are all fallen humans who, when unsupervised, will decay into a corpse of a human. However, because we have an intellect we can set rules and create barriers by which we continue to guide ourselves throughout our life leading us to greater success.
The concept of saying yes and no is very simple, but often overlooked. In this episode, we discuss some of the ways to practice saying yes and no, as well as the consequences of not doing so.
In this episode, Mike and I discuss the importance of choosing your friends wisely and deliberately. Choosing these things will significantly help you to become more of the person you want to. Doing this can significantly propel you into the future you want. Failing to recognize this and to choose your friends with intention can lead to destruction. Beyond friendships, even the movies, music, and books you consume will also have a large impact on you so choose that wisely as well.
This is a shorter episode but one that we feel is very important. Honesty is one of the things Michael and I have used to help us attain our current success. We hope you can too!
