On the same day in July, three FBI sources gave the public three irreconcilable answers about the ransom notes in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping. Reuters was told every note is fake. If they do not have results after five months on a DNA sample in a kidnapping case, the investigation is producing questions faster than it is producing answers.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer has publicly challenged investigators on ten specific points, including the unreleased porch image and the question of whether the Bureau already knows who porch guy is. DNA recovered from Nancy's home went to a genetic genealogy lab in February. Three different FBI sources. Three different answers. On the same day. About the single most important piece of evidence in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping.Reuters said all the ransom notes are fabricated. The Phoenix field office said some may be legitimate. TMZ's sources said the original two are more credible than not. The Bureau cannot agree internally on whether the central evidence in its own active case is real or manufactured.Nancy Guthrie has been missing from her Tucson home for nearly six months. No suspect identified. No arrest. Former FBI agent Steve Moore went on camera and said what no official source has admitted. The case is completely cold. He told Brian Entin that fresh agents will eventually rotate in because the current investigators are stuck. This case has attracted cons alongside its genuine investigation. Derrick Callella pleaded guilty to posing as a kidnapper and sending fake ransom messages directly to Nancy's family while the real kidnapping was still open. Someone else separately sent TMZ a dozen emails demanding Bitcoin for information. The resources devoted to sorting real leads from manufactured noise have been enormous.Genetic genealogy testing began in February using DNA recovered from inside the house. That was five months ago. The enhanced photo of the masked figure on Nancy's porch has never been publicly released.Nancy's face is on the billboards across Tucson. The suspect's is not. The enhanced photo of the masked figure was captured on her porch camera. It has never been made public. These are deliberate decisions by the people running this investigation, and no one has explained the logic behind any of them.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins Hidden Killers to examine the Bureau's contradictions, what happens mechanically when a case goes cold, whether the genetic genealogy testing has produced results that have not been shared, and whether investigators already know more about porch guy than they have told the public.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Same day. Same evidence. Three FBI sources. Three completely different answers about whether the ransom notes in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping are real.Reuters reported every note is fabricated. The Phoenix field office said some may carry legitimacy. TMZ's sources said the original two notes are more credible than not. The single most important piece of evidence in this case drew three incompatible readings from inside the agency running the investigation.Nancy Guthrie has been missing from her home in Tucson for close to six months. No suspect publicly identified. No arrest made. Former FBI agent Steve Moore told Brian Entin's audience that the case is cold and that new agents will eventually be rotated in.Derrick Callella pleaded guilty to impersonating a kidnapper and contacting the family directly while the real investigation was still active. He was not the only one exploiting the situation. TMZ separately received a dozen emails from a different individual demanding Bitcoin. The investigation has had to devote enormous resources to separating real evidence from manufactured interference. The question of how much time and personnel were consumed by people running cons on a missing woman's family is one that nobody in an official capacity has been willing to address. If the FBI has results from the genetic genealogy testing that started five months ago, they have not shared them. If they do not have results after five months on a DNA sample in an active kidnapping, that raises questions about what this investigation is actually producing.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer has been among the most prominent voices questioning the investigation. She posted a ten-point public challenge to investigators asking why the enhanced porch image has never been released, why Nancy's face appears on the billboards instead of the suspect's, and whether investigators already know who porch guy is.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? There's a version of the Nancy Guthrie story where the hard truth is simple: nobody's close. According to Howard Blum's reporting in Air Mail, the investigators themselves fear an early mistake cost them the chance to solve the abduction of the 84-year-old from her Tucson home. Brian Entin's reporting agrees — the person responsible vanished as cleanly as she did, leaving a task force circling back to the same ransom notes.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer meets it head-on. She explains how to interpret agents conceding doubt, whether endlessly clearing suspects is progress or paralysis, and how a single error on a crypto payment can quietly derail everything. And she wrestles with the contradiction nobody's solved: a man who demanded a fortune and then never collected it.So was the money ever the motive? How do cases this cold usually resolve? And does public silence mean the bureau has nothing — or that it's holding more than it's saying? All claims are reported and unconfirmed; no one has been charged. The uncomfortable possibility in the Nancy Guthrie case is that nobody is close to anything. Howard Blum's reporting in Air Mail describes investigators who privately fear an early mistake already cost them the case — suspects cleared one after another, leads drying up, the task force forced back to the ransom notes for lack of anything better. Brian Entin's sources say the same: the person who took the 84-year-old vanished without a trace.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer confronts it directly. She explains how to read agents admitting doubt about their own work, whether clearing suspects is progress or a treadmill, and how a misstep on a Bitcoin ransom can quietly cripple an investigation. And she tackles the contradiction that won't die — a kidnapper who demanded millions and then never took a dime. Was money ever the point? How do cases this stuck usually end? And is "no idea who took her" the truth, or just what a quiet investigation looks like from outside? All claims are reported and unconfirmed; no one has been charged. What if the honest answer in the Nancy Guthrie case is that no one knows anything? Reporting by Air Mail's Howard Blum says investigators themselves fear they blew their best shot early. NewsNation's Brian Entin describes a trail that simply went cold — the man who took the 84-year-old gone as completely as she is.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer takes the question on without blinking. She unpacks what it means when agents quietly admit they're afraid, why a parade of cleared suspects can leave you back at square one, and how one Bitcoin misstep can set a case back for good. Then there's the detail that breaks the logic wide open: a ransom demand for millions that the kidnapper never collected. If the money was the point, why walk away from it? How do investigations like this tend to end? And is the silence around this case a sign of failure — or discipline? All claims are reported and unconfirmed; no one has been charged. The evidence that someone planned Nancy Guthrie's kidnapping months in advance was everywhere online. Google Trends screenshots appearing to show searches for her Tucson address in June and Savannah Guthrie's salary in December. It looked damning. It circulated on every platform. People cited it as proof that whoever took Nancy had been researching her family's wealth for months. Then NewsNation reporter Brian Entin did something nobody else had bothered to do — he called Google. Google's answer: the search data as presented was not accurate. The searches as described didn't happen. The most-shared evidence of premeditation in the Nancy Guthrie case was not real. And it wasn't alone. A separate YouTube video fabricated Nancy's entire professional identity — placing her in Columbus, Ohio, calling her a pharmaceutical compliance officer, and building a 25-minute conspiracy about healthcare fraud retaliation. Nancy has never been a healthcare executive. She's never lived in Ohio. One search would have debunked it. Tony Brueski walks through both fabrications in detail and asks the question the internet never asked: what happens to a real investigation when manufactured evidence floods the system?Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? A YouTube video with hundreds of thousands of views claimed Nancy Guthrie was a pharmaceutical compliance officer from Columbus, Ohio, connected to a 32 billion dollar healthcare fraud conspiracy. The video stated it as fact. Professional narration. Graphics. The production quality of legitimate reporting. The problem: Nancy Guthrie was born in Fort Wright, Kentucky. She's lived in Tucson, Arizona for more than fifty years. She's a retired grandmother. She was never a compliance officer. She never lived in Ohio. The entire professional identity was fabricated. The theory that grew from it — that Nancy was a whistleblower silenced by corporate interests — was built on a foundation that doesn't exist. And a separate fabrication made it worse: manipulated Google Trends screenshots claiming someone in Arizona searched for Nancy's address months before the kidnapping. Google itself confirmed through Brian Entin at NewsNation that the data was not accurate. Two manufactured pieces of evidence. Two pillars of the case's online mythology. Both completely made up. Tony Brueski examines how the internet built an evidence factory around a real missing person — and why the content creators behind it are still collecting views.Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Crime Talk Store: https://scottreisch.com/crime-talk-store The investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has taken a new turn as authorities reportedly focus on two critical January dates: January 11 and January 24. According to reports from neighborhood residents and coverage by NewsNation's Brian Entin, investigators have been asking locals for surveillance footage from those specific dates in the weeks leading up to the incident. Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of January 31, and authorities say she was taken against her will in the early hours of February 1 by an unidentified masked individual captured on home surveillance. Officials have said the case appears to be targeted, and investigators are also exploring the possibility of an accomplice. DNA evidence, surveillance footage, and prior video requests are all part of the ongoing investigation. The family has remained mostly quiet publicly, while Savannah Guthrie has spoken emotionally about fearing for her mother's safety. In this video, we break down: Why January 11 and January 24 matter What investigators are reportedly looking for The suspect description released by authorities What law enforcement has said so far The latest on the growing reward offer At this time, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active. #NancyGuthrie #SavannahGuthrie #BreakingNews #TrueCrime #MissingPerson #FBI #ArizonaNews #CrimeUpdate #Investigation #NewsUpdate

Four days into the search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, the investigation has reportedly turned toward those closest to her.According to a law enforcement source speaking to journalist Ashley Banfield, a vehicle belonging to Annie Guthrie — Nancy's daughter, Savannah's sister, and the last person to see Nancy alive — has been towed, impounded, and placed into evidence. FBI agents reportedly spent approximately two hours at Annie's home on Tuesday.Banfield was careful to frame this development. She emphasized that investigators always look at family first. It's standard procedure. She referenced Ed Smart, who was treated as a suspect for weeks after his daughter Elizabeth was kidnapped — and it turned out to be a stranger. Banfield called her source's theories "musings, not evidence."But the car being impounded is not routine. The crime scene evidence is troubling. Multiple cameras at the property were reportedly smashed. The back door was left wide open. Blood was found inside the home according to sources, though Sheriff Chris Nanos has declined to confirm. Brian Entin of NewsNation found blood visible at the front stoop. Retired FBI agent Maureen O'Connell said the droplet pattern suggests Nancy may have been carried out.Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker stopped syncing with her Apple Watch around 2 a.m. Sunday, according to law enforcement sources. That's when investigators believe she was taken. She cannot walk 50 yards unassisted. She requires medication that could be fatal if missed. She is now past 72 hours. When Entin asked retired FBI agents if they think Nancy is still alive, one said the blood evidence "let the air out of my tires." Another said, "Not likely." Sheriff Nanos, asked the same question: "We hope we are."Someone knew this house. The crime scene at Nancy Guthrie's Arizona home tells a story investigators are still trying to piece together. Blood at the front door. The back door left wide open. Multiple cameras smashed. And an 84-year-old woman who can't walk 50 yards on her own, gone without a trace.Nancy Guthrie, mother of Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing Sunday after she failed to show up for church. According to a law enforcement source speaking to journalist Ashley Banfield, the back door of her Catalina Foothills home was found wide open. When Banfield asked Sheriff Chris Nanos if Nancy was carried out the front door, he said, "I did not say the front door."Brian Entin of NewsNation walked up to the home Tuesday after it was released from crime scene status. He found blood still visible at the front door stoop — some red, some brown. The blood trail stops there. It doesn't continue to the driveway. Retired FBI agent Maureen O'Connell analyzed the footage and noted the droplets are round, falling from directly above. No bloody footprints. Her conclusion: Nancy may have been carried out and placed into a waiting vehicle.Banfield's source says multiple cameras were smashed by whoever did this. The source's assessment: "This is someone who knew where the cameras were. Somebody who was familiar with this home, this premises, this woman."The investigation has turned toward family as part of standard procedure. A vehicle belonging to Nancy's daughter Annie has reportedly been impounded. FBI agents visited Annie's home for two hours Tuesday. Banfield stressed this is routine and called her source's speculation "musings, not evidence."Nancy requires medication that could be fatal if missed. When asked if they believe she's still alive, Sheriff Nanos said: "We hope we are."#NancyGuthrie #SavannahGuthrie #TucsonArizona #CatalinaFoothills #Kidnapping #CrimeScene #TrueCrime #MissingPerson #FBI #HiddenKillersJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In this episode, we break down the full timeline and key evidence in the Melodee Buzzard case, from her disappearance to the arrest of her mother, Ashlee Buzzard, on first-degree murder charges.Melodee Buzzard was reported missing in October after a school administrator alerted police to her prolonged absence. Investigators soon uncovered a suspicious multi-state road trip involving rental cars, wigs, license plate changes, and misleading statements about Melodee's whereabouts. Surveillance footage placed Melodee alive for the last time near the Utah–Colorado border, where investigators believe she was killed shortly afterward. As the investigation unfolded, law enforcement executed multiple search warrants, recovered ballistic evidence, and identified disturbing behavior and statements made by Ashlee in the weeks following Melodee's disappearance. A key witness later reported being falsely imprisoned, leading to Ashlee's initial arrest and further scrutiny by investigators. In December, Melodee's remains were discovered in a remote area of Utah. DNA testing confirmed her identity, and forensic evidence linked the crime back to the rental vehicle and Ashlee's residence. Ashlee Buzzard was arrested and formally charged with first-degree murder with special allegations. Prosecutors have announced they will seek life without parole. This episode also examines Ashlee Buzzard's background, prior mental health concerns, family court history, and the difficult questions surrounding mental illness, premeditation, and criminal responsibility.⚠️ Viewer discretion advised: This episode discusses the death of a child.Brian Entin's channel - audio from the incident with Tyler. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-wVV5RK1Qg Criminally obsessed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6q544MVGDsALL MERCH 10% off with code Sherlock10 at checkout - NEW STYLES Donate: (Thank you for your support! In a powerful new conversation, Alivia Goncalves — sister of Kaylee Goncalves, one of the victims in the University of Idaho murders — is breaking her silence about her private meeting with prosecutors and investigators in Lewiston, Idaho in an interview with Brian Entin. We discuss what she revealed to him. For the first time, Alivia shares what really happened behind closed doors on October 6th, when she sat alone across from members of the prosecution team, Idaho State Police, and Moscow PD — determined to learn everything she could about her sister's murder and the evidence against Bryan Kohberger. In this emotional, revealing discussion, Alivia describes the meeting as “traumatizing but necessary.” She opens up about what it was like to see key evidence firsthand — including the full surveillance timeline tracking Kohberger's movements from 3:00 to 4:20 a.m., the cell tower CAST data showing 23 visits to the victims' home, and even one carefully redacted crime scene photo. She also talks about the moment prosecutor Bill Thompson admitted he couldn't guarantee that sensitive images would never leak — a moment that pushed her to face the unthinkable rather than risk being blindsided online later. Alivia reveals new context about Kohberger's Amazon knife purchase, the witness list including one of his sisters, and her reaction to recently unsealed Washington State University reports detailing multiple complaints from women who said Kohberger made them feel unsafe. But the heart of this story isn't just the evidence — it's Alivia's ongoing mission. She's building a digital archive to preserve the full truth of what happened to Kaylee, Maddie, Xana, and Ethan — to protect their legacy from conspiracy theories and online distortion. This is a story about strength, truth, and the fight to keep reality intact. #BryanKohberger #KayleeGoncalves #IdahoMurders #MoscowIdaho #AliviaGoncalves #HiddenKillers #TrueCrimePodcast #UniversityOfIdaho #JusticeForKaylee #TonyBrueski Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Jail Guard Speaks Out: Judge Mullins Invited Me to Sex Parties The courthouse may not have been the only place corruption thrived. A former jail guard told NewsNation's Brian Entin that the Letcher County jail was “basically a brothel.” She alleged supervisors took inmates home, guards pressured women, and Judge Mullins himself invited her to late-night “parties” with other higher-ups. Other allegations claim inmates were rewarded with cigarettes, commissary, or extra time outside their cells in exchange for sex. These claims, while unproven in court, paint a disturbing picture of systemic abuse where exploitation was treated as “normal.” In this episode, I'm joined by psychotherapist Shavaun Scott to explore what happens psychologically when corruption is normalized at a community level. How do group dynamics silence dissent? How does trauma multiply when victims know the community sees and does nothing? And what does it mean for Sheriff Stines to face trial in the same county, under the shadow of these allegations? We also examine broader problems in America's prison and jail systems — where oversight is weak, abuse often goes unchecked, and the vulnerable are left unprotected. If even some of these allegations are true, this isn't about a bad apple. It's about an orchard poisoned from the inside. #JailhouseExposed #JudgeMullins #SheriffStines #TrueCrime #HiddenKillers #PrisonAbuse #Corruption #Whitesburg #SexScandal #CoverUp Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Judge Kevin Mullins EXPOSED: S-for-Favors Scandal REVEALED The murder of Judge Kevin Mullins by Sheriff Shawn Stines didn't end the story — it blew the lid off a scandal. In the weeks after, women stepped forward with disturbing allegations: that Judge Mullins coerced them into sexual acts in exchange for leniency, avoiding jail, or even custody of their children. One woman, Tia Adams, told reporter Brian Entin she had sex with Mullins “countless times,” sometimes in his chambers. She described the encounters as humiliating, impossible to refuse, and driven by fear of retaliation. According to her, this wasn't intimacy — it was coercion, disguised as consent. Lawsuits and interviews allege that humiliation was part of the judge's strategy. Victims claimed Mullins threw money at them, degraded them, and warned them to stay silent. The allegations suggest the courthouse wasn't just corrupted — it was weaponized. In this episode, psychotherapist Shavaun Scott helps break down the psychology of coercion, trauma bonding, and why victims often doubt themselves after years of abuse. We also examine how communities normalize silence, how victims experience relief when an abuser dies, and why power unchecked becomes exploitation. None of these allegations have been proven in court, but they raise urgent questions about how justice can survive when the judge himself is accused of being the predator. #JudgeMullins #SexForFavors #ScandalExposed #TrueCrime #SheriffStines #HiddenKillers #Corruption #Coercion #VictimsSpeak #Whitesburg Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
