Is the conservative movement splintering from within—and who's actually driving the divide? That's the question on the table as Joe Pags breaks down the growing tension, highlighted by the clash between Tucker Carlson and Mike Huckabee. Who's standing on principle, and who's fueling the fire? Pags gives it to you straight. Then Karoline Leavitt steps to the podium and unloads on the economy, public school walkouts, and the DHS shutdown drama—laying out what the administration says is really happening behind the headlines. Then it gets explosive. Former Lieutenant Randy Sutton joins the show with jaw-dropping insight into the Nancy Guthrie investigation. The sheriff leading the case is reportedly facing a 98.2% vote of NO CONFIDENCE from his own deputies. Sutton exposes the internal chaos inside the Pima County Sheriff's Department, why the FBI had to step in to recover critical video evidence, whether cartel angles are being ignored, and how releasing the crime scene early may have changed everything. This is insider knowledge you're not hearing anywhere else—and Pags makes sure you get it. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Garth Heckman The David Alliance TDAgiantSlayer@Gmail.com Phil. 3: 2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the [a]false circumcision; 3 for we are the true [b]circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and take pride in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh, 4 although I myself could boast as having confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he is confident in the flesh, I have more reason: 2-6 Steer clear of the barking dogs, those religious busybodies, all bark and no bite. All they're interested in is appearances—knife-happy circumcisers, I call them. The real believers are the ones the Spirit of God leads to work away at this ministry, filling the air with Christ's praise as we do it. We couldn't carry this off by our own efforts, and we know it—even though we can list what many might think are impressive credentials. To understand the weight of Philippians 3:2-3, you have to imagine Paul writing from a prison cell, not with a sense of defeat, but with a sharp, protective urgency for his friends in Philippi. These verses represent one of the most famous "tone shifts" in the New Testament, moving from joy to a stern warning. 1. The Historical Background When Paul writes, "Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh," he isn't just being grumpy. He is addressing a specific group known as Judaizers. The Conflict The Judaizers were early Christians who argued that for a Gentile (non-Jew) to truly follow Christ, they first had to become Jewish by being circumcised and adhering to the Mosaic Law. The Term "Dogs": In the first century, "dogs" wasn't a cute term; it referred to scavengers. Ironically, Jews often used this term for "unclean" Gentiles. Paul flips the script, calling the legalists the "unclean" ones because they were trying to add human effort to a divine gift. The "Mutilators": Paul uses a Greek wordplay here. He contrasts peritome (circumcision) with katatome(mutilation). He's saying that if circumcision is done for the wrong reasons—as a requirement for salvation—it's nothing more than a physical wound with no spiritual value. 2. Defining the "True Circumcision" In verse 3, Paul redefines what it means to be the people of God. He lists three marks of a true believer that don't depend on physical lineage: Mark Meaning Worship by the Spirit Authentic worship isn't about following a ritual checklist; it's an internal prompting from God. Glory in Christ Jesus Our "boasting" or confidence is placed entirely in what Jesus did, not in our own resumes. No Confidence in the Flesh This means we stop trusting our background, our education, or our "goodness" to save us. 3. Application for Today While we aren't usually debating physical circumcision in modern life, the root issue—legalism versus grace—is still very much alive. Avoiding "Performance" Christianity It is human nature to want a "to-do list" to feel secure. Today, "the flesh" might look like: Thinking you are closer to God because you attend more services than others. Relying on your political stance or social activism as the source of your righteousness. Feeling "better" than others because of your specific lifestyle choices. Finding True Identity Paul's message to us today is a call to spiritual exhale. If our standing with God is based on Christ's performance and not ours, we are free from the "treadmill" of trying to earn God's favor. The takeaway: Religious rituals are fine as expressions of love, but they are "dogs" if they become the basis of our hope. Would you like me to look into the verses that immediately follow this, where Paul lists his own impressive "religious resume" only to call it "rubbish"?

Poems have a way of showing truths and making us recognize what we are often blind to - that the best we have is adequate and the worst we think we are can also be beautiful. There is so much we lose out to life because of our fears - of what we think we are, of what others might think we are, of what the world thinks when we fail. The sad truth is - nobody cares. Everybody is immersed in their own stories, and beyond a flurry of gossip, have scarcely any mind space for anybody else. Only the ones who care for us, are the ones who feel for us, in ways which are genuine and true and beautiful. And when they hold us close, in spite (and often because) of what we are, we become the beauty they see in us, we are rendered marvellous, we see the infinite in ourselves because that is the core of us - the boundless possibility, the opening of a flower inside us, the feeling of being with the divine, of being blessed. And all because someone found us worthy of time, of attention. Of a sliver of love. Maybe a poem. In a day of violence and high drama, former President Jacob Zuma's MKP failed to gain control of KZN. In this interview with Chris Steyn, Democratic Alliance (DA) Provincial Leader Francois Rodgers describes the scene after a Motion of No Confidence against Premier Thami Ntuli was defeated. “I think the people of KwaZulu-Natal and the broader public at large can now see what to expect under an MKP government…It was purely to gain power, to gain access into the government with no...clear direction whatsoever….When we'd done the voting and the Speaker had then closed the sitting down, she was hit in the face by an MKP member of the Provincial Legislature. The Secretary of the Provincial Legislature was also pushed around.…It was shocking and quite frankly nauseating.” Earlier the Speaker had to suspend the sitting because MKP became disruptive after the Speaker ruled against a secret ballot. “…she covered all her bases, but MK, like a spoiled child, just wouldn't accept it.” As for Zuma's presence in the chamber, Rodgers remarks: “Clearly, he must have been quite happy with the way his commanders behaved. Because if I was the leader of a party and I was in a legislature, and that's how my party members were behaving, I'd make sure they get a message to sit down and behave and take part in what should be a democratic process.”

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology in Agriculture also says that by 2050 - assuming all Government targets were met in full - almost a quarter of current UK farmland could be used for other purposes including renewable energy, housing, and nature restoration. Warning... This episode is unedited. Scott just didn't have the heart or the time to spend on it, so it will be a little rough around the edges. We don't usually swear - but there's some in this one, so if the kids are in the car... Miami went to Indy for the NFL opening day and got their clocks cleaned. No part of the game was good, so Alex and Scott cover performances but not much in details. This game left everyone in the NFL world talking about what we've been trying to get out there for years. The last episode of last season said it all... the "Vote of No Confidence" episode of season 7 aimed at Mr Ross. Now we see the results. For the record, we drafted Tyler Warren for the Dolphins.

The BBC reports Francois Bayrou called the surprise vote of confidence on himself after huge opposition to his budget plans. France's National Assembly voted by 364 votes to 194 to eject him from office, and bring down his minority government. President Emmanuel Macron now faces a choice between calling a snap election or picking a fifth prime minister in less than two years. France Correspondent Catherine Field told Mike Hosking that part of the problem was Bayrou's attitude. She says he seemed to antagonise everyone he spoke to, and he didn't try to negotiate or seek coalitions. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
