We had the pleasure of having Carl Kuhl come and speak from Southeast Christian in Kentucky!
Carl Kuhl teaching on 1 Corinthians 7:1-16. Below are discussion questions from his teaching: What is a way you deprive/rob those closest to you of what they desire? What is the most common excuse you use to rationalize why you can't use your marriage/singleness to serve your wife/others? What is 1 thing you need to do THIS WEEK to serve your wife, or use your singleness to serve others?
After dinner Jesus and the twelve go to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. In a moment when Jesus needed encouragement and support, his friends repeatedly fall asleep on him. Instead of revoking their disciple cards, he calls them to persist in prayer and continue with him. Firm and consistent, we see Jesus model a patience with his men that we should take note of.
