It has been a very big week for women's health.   After years of experts like Dr. Rachel Rubin fighting to have the black box warnings on vaginal estrogen products removed, the FDA has agreed to remove it from select HRT products. This week, we are replaying Dr. Rachel Rubin's episode where she shares the importance of vaginal estrogen for women's health.  Dr. Rubin is a nationally-recognized urology and sexual medicine physician and she recently joined several of our former guests and menopausal experts on a panel in front of the FDA to explain why the black box warnings do more harm than good.  As of November 10, 2025, the FDA plans to remove the black box warning on certain HRT products including vaginal estrogen.  Thank you to all the experts! Did you know that Margaret started her stand up career at the young age of 14 and that within the first two years, she had performed 300 concerts. Her career expanded into acting with in 1994 with the sitcom, All American Girl. Margaret has continue to act in shows including Drop Dead Diva and 30 Rock.  She also has done sold out national comedy tours with her most recent being the Choligarchy Tour. She shares from all these experiences. We talk about her career, her personal journey and why she believes that Menopause can be a wonderful time of life.  She now lives with clarity, wisdom and with the confidence to know that her opinions are the only ones that truly matter. What if she fell in love and her heart was broken?  Alison was so afraid that she did not find true love until she was over 50 year old.  She did meet her true love, Bhima, and for 2 glorious years they were happy.  Unfortunately, Bhima died of a heart attack a few days after he proposed to Alison.  Her worst "What If" happened! Alison chose to process her loss through finding joy in her life again.  She is the author of Grief...A Comedy book and one woman show.  She has chosen to open her heart and show others how to survive and thrive after loss.
