Welcome to the very first Messy Truths Podcast episode where three long-time sister friends record (remotely) and talk about the messy bits of life. Nesha and Mar are located in Montreal, Canada, and Azar is located in New York City. In this first episode, the ladies didn't know what the name of the podcast would be, but they did know what they wanted to discuss: cancel culture music. Do you feel a cringe every time you hear an MJ or R. Kelly song? Maybe you don't? You're not alone. In episode one the ladies talk about music from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s that they love, but would be banned by today's cancel culture standards. But first, the hosts give some background on how they know each other. Fact Check: The Parental Advisory campaign was not initiated by Senator John Kerry's wife. The campaign, was initiated by Tipper Gore (wife of Senator and later Vice President Al Gore) in addition to other women, in Washington, DC. It ceased during the mid-to-late 1990s. *********** Subscribe on all streaming platforms and don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. #podcast #montreal #newyork #cancelculture #music #nsfw #genx

[featuring @armani_babbii & @adafagothits | MUSIC BY FALLOUTBEATZ, you will still be heard]. In this episode, I’m diving into the music world and dissecting the reason why we need more conscious & high vibrational music. I’m also tapping into celebrity culture to expose the bullshit that has been given to us provided by mainstream media. For extra seasoning, my voice is mainly wanting to be heard by the black community in this episode; we have some cleaning up to do and power to take back stepping into 2021 & every year there after. Enjoy
