Does God still reach down from heaven and touch our lives? How does this happen? What does it feel like? This episode shares my encounter with the product I call liquid love.Liquid LOVEThe day His love descended from heaven and touched my heart, He filled my soul with a love like no other... Love flowed freely as He wrapped me in His warm loving arms. It left me bewildered, confused but forever changed. He has taken my hand and asked me to follow Him ... His love is gentle, kind, and beyond words... He has opened my heart and I now see life with all the beauty He intended. With His love, life has new meaning and is nothing short of amazing ... I love Him with all that I am.. I am forever his child .. and will continue to share His love with others as I press my heart as close as He will allow.. There are no earthly possessions that are adequate to offer Him in exchange for this amazing gift. I can only offer Him my heart and soul for eternity. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1 NIVThe Bridge Church / Spring Hill, TNhttps://bridge.tvSupport the showEpisode is LivePublished: Sep. 13, 2020 @ 9AM EditUnpublishTranscript is LiveEdit or Delete this transcript.Get the latest. Oh the things we think as a caregiver but dare not say them out loud - do you have some ideas of what those things are? You know the thoughts of resentment, wondering why you are in this situation, that you don't want to be a caregiver and how long is this really going to last because you're ready to get back to your life. Yup - all of those "horrible/selfish" things we tell ourselves we can't say out loud but consume our thoughts on the daily. But why DON'T we say these things out loud? Why are we afraid to or just haven't? Tune in to see why you aren't alone in your thinking and understand why we need to start saying the things rather than keeping them bottled up. A couple of weeks ago had interviewed Glori Meldrum on the podcast. Glori is the founder of little warriors. She is a survivor of childhood sexual assault. And this has been a cause that's been so close to my heart for a long time. It's an absolute epidemic. So as we're leaning into this conversation, it was important to me to bring in a male voice. I've been chatting with my friend Keith Faria. Keith is a spokesperson for little warriors and an ambassador for them. He's also a speaker on men's health and mental health, and the effects of long-term untreated sexual trauma. So I wanted to get his perspective and talk with him about his journey of becoming. It is insightful, it is powerful. And it impacted me deeply. Imagine getting a needle stuck in your head and having a feeling of complete and utter relaxation, even euphoria. That's exactly what happens with acupuncture. It's all about stimulating the right point and it is very safe. Thereafter, a cascade of processes are triggered in the body that signals the body to heal itself. Acupuncture "makes suggestions" to the natural healing powers that lie within. Effective at addressing pain, acupuncture also works synergistically with medications to increase their efficacy and minimize side effects. Acupuncture aligns with the integrative model of veterinary care combining Eastern and Western medicine, and is especially powerful in combination with physical rehabilitation. Treating both acute (post-injury or surgery) and chronic issues (osteoarthritis), acupuncture also helps the immune system, allergies, cancer, organ function, sleep, anxiety, PTSD and the list goes on. And a little trivia: acupuncture needles are so small that up to 30 of them can fit inside a needle used for shots! After listening, you'll get the "point" of acupuncture's powerful potential!!Click Blue Heron Acupuncture for more information about Carol and veterinary acupuncture.DisclaimerThe contents of the PetAbilityTM podcast are for informational purposes only.
