Joining Sarah for this special interview episode is actor, writer, director, producer, AND best-selling author, Greg Sestero! You may know him best from the 2003 cult classic "The Room," but Greg has been involved in a lot of cool projects since then — including writing his memoir, "The Disaster Artist" which was adapted into the 2017 Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning movie. We talk about horror influences, the longevity of practical effects over CGI, plus his upcoming sci-fi/horror movie, "Forbidden Sky." You can follow Greg on Twitter/Instagram: @GregSestero And we'll be adding the link for the "Forbidden Sky" Kickstarter when it is live!

Lightning strikes around you every few seconds, a hurricane is howling around you and visibility is almost zero. Add to that the fact that you're on a rickety platform 7,000 feet in the air, barely tethered to the barrier rail by rope in an almost vain attempt to stop you from being blown off and plummeting to your death, and it's obvious why the situation is so precarious. You are desperately trying to get to the launch pad, get into the rocket and get away and to safety - but you are still exploring your route there and you also have to wire up the launch system - and you're running out of time. You have to be quick and work together to reach the Forbidden Sky by Gamewright.Read the full article here: https://tabletopgamesblog.com/2020/05/09/forbidden-sky-saturday-review/

For our final installment of GenCon reviews, we are dialing it back a bit and talking about some light, family weight games. In a way, we thought it was fitting since that's at the heart of what GenCon releases are all about - games meant to hit a lot of tables and where lots of families and groups can have a good time. Anthony leads off with a beautiful card game that masquerades as a worker placement, Everdell (4:20). Starling's parent company, Game Salute, has a negative reputation around the board gaming world, yet games like Everdell seem to promise a new era for the company. Jason jumps in next and talks about The Big Score (15:09), a drafting game with a solo variant from our friends at Van Ryder Games. Anthony then tells us about Petrichor (24:14), a game about... rain? It certainly has a unique theme, and Anthony will let you know whether it has mechanisms to match. Finally, and as a fitting capstone, Jason breaks down one of the hottest, most anticipated games of the con - the newest Forbidden game from Matt Leacock, Forbidden Sky (33:27).
